  1. PvE events – run daily Time challenge – destroy 2 enemy ships in shortest possible time. Kill challenge – destroy as many enemy ships in 30 mins. (Boarding does not count) - every kill grants +1 repair for the player. Events are provided for testing. Initial ship for all events is Cerberus. In the forthcoming hotfixes and patches we will add variety to ships, enemies and challenges (demasting, boarding, etc). The event had been out for a week when they did the patch and switched from the Cerb to the Rattler. So you had plenty of time to do it. The even list here that it will change and that the ships and type of objectives will change with coming hotfixes and patches. I'm not a big fan of the current combo and I sold off my Cerbs to new players to buy so it's no lost for me. You didn't have to make a top of a line exceptional ship for the Cerb one as it was fairly easy with the ships you fought. I really think folks don't check the patches and hotfix notes and just go off what others tell them or this would of been avoided from the start if you had read that last line on the notes. I'll will add the Devs plan to give a ship for those to use that don't have ships in future ones. I assume it won't be a top of a line version though.
  2. Your AI ships might of been taking on water or on fire. That and if they have been hit in a set time. I all ways at the end of a fight go to them and make them retreat. Cause other wise you risk a chance of leaving them. If they can't retreat they are prob taking on water and you prob would of lost that ship any way. Cause your there fleet commander and if you leave well they give up. You are ment to stay there and direct them. I actually won a fight like this cause I sunk, but my AI was still in good shape and he sunk the guy trying to get my trader. I'll admit I got my trader sunk on purpose so he couldn't get my good, but I gave him a fight until that happend (My traders are baord fit and he know that after I capped one of his ships). So in the end a 3 vs 2 turned into me wining even though my AI was the only ship left. I had boarded both his AI before he sunk me keep me from boarding him, but he was so damage by my AI pounding him he sunk before he could escape since my AI only had sail damage. Yet another fight lost cause folks shot only sails most of the fight...lol I do agree a warning would be good, we keep AI in fights on purpose so folks will just leave after they are sunk and loose the ship or after they escaped. That way they might still have Dura on those ships, but they take a crew hit. We done retags of ships that escaped to find them way under crewed cause they didn't have medkits and lost crew in the fight before. Remember the AI's can be just as much a crutch in a fight as they can be help. If you know how to use them against some one they become more of a crutch than help.
  3. Raids should be a pirate only mechanic and they shouldn't be part of the Conquest stuff since they can't have alliances and such and really shouldn't be doing big region ownerships. They need to finish up with he Nationals and get with the Pirate mechanics soon.
  4. If you are talking about the treasure fleet events that happend a few months back. Those weren't one time blueprints. He can make as many as he wants now that he knows the blue print. Unless this is some new event I haven't heard of than.
  5. We did get a clan mate who dropped the Heavy Rattler after doing PvP event yesterday even. I'm just wondering if any of the two new ones BP's have dropped too? With the P. Frigate I will hope they do too.
  6. About 30 mins ago at around 16:30 CST on 12/12/2016 I had left my battle screen after a battle in the PvE event. Since I was damage and didn't have crew med-kits and repair I was going to leave the zone and go get patched up. Some US players saw me and started a run. I was able to get out of the PvP event area and figured they pull off, but a few stayed with me. Knowing I won't make it back to a friendly port I hit a Epic Event. [NPG]JD Shot's in a Victory with a Pirate Frigate AI entered along with [ASP]Ian Ross Struan. (Ian left the fight shortly after it started.) I made a joke about joining together to fight the fleet since they had joined on our side and how the Pirate flag looked good on them. I was moving over toe JD Shot's to get a screen shot of him with a pirate flag. When he got next to me he gave me a full broad side into my sails. I have attached pictures the start to show that we where on the same team. Screen shots of him firing upon me. The screen shots of the damage he did with the sail shots in battle log. Than the last one is the battle end. I never fired upon him, but did stick around until he left the battle to make sure more wasn't done and that he got out safe.
  7. You can just not do them. I haven't done them since the first day I placed on both top 10. I tired once or twice the last few days but I don't spend time on them and I just move to other things. Some folks that that, others don't. I'm waiting to see some of the other combo's they come out with. Hell I been useing my rattler I built for it looking for ships for the team.
  8. Prob cause he's taking so much time complaining on here. I mean all I seen him every do is complain and complain. I'm going to bet most of ya'll prob never seen him much on the OW on PvP1 (since I'm sure he's not on PvP2). Man if you put as much energy into the game as you do bitching you might actually find it fun. Oh and many of us do find it fun, but I also understand this is an EA ALPHA TESTING not a full blown game release. I'm here to have fun and help test the game for the final product. You apparently don't seem to be here for that reason.
  9. Just do like after a port battle and a region is capture. How it switches color of the past owner and new one until server reset. Though pick a diffrent color. I would say something bright that isn't red cause brits are red.
  10. As much as I hate the mission grind thing I think Hostility is needed, but the problem is trying to find this fleet that is causeing the hostility and the grind. Blockaiding needs ot be added as much as I know it will hurt the small nations, but it tells you exactly where they are cause you can see them. Hostility missions need to stay open mroe then 5 mins. I didn't even know this got bumped down and now we know why we couldn't find most these missions half the time when they are grinding up a region is cause they close way to soon before you can get there and join them. Could fly right past the spot and never find them with how big the regions are. There should be a hot spot marker. If the missions is being donw around one said port over another that port should bink/turn red as a hot spot so you know about where they are at. The limit on War Supplies is a right direction as those are being abused by larger nations so they don't even have to grind. They just drop them off and half way there. It's still early on these new mechanics and they need a lot more tweeking.

Yah didn't see the post above. Oh that is cool if we can finally get some BP's too. I'm going to be praying for the H Rattler and P Frigate now lol
  12. You got the ship as a note that turns in or did you get the BP? Remember they are Notes for the ships not the actual BP's.
  13. Even better just stop voting for alliance with the other big nations. Nations should be fighting each other. Not every nation doing nothing but twiddlling there thumbs. You don't have to go to war with each other, but the alliance keeps all the big dogs from being able to fight no one but the small pop nations.
  14. Wait so the missions do close at 5 mins? No wonder we can never find these guys grinding up our regions. The battles prob are all ways closed when we go looking for them.
  15. Did you F11 it? Might try logging out and back in. Seems I think there was like a bug for some one else that this happend to also, but I have sleep many a moons since than I'm sure so my memory isn't that great.

And to add to this if we bring them into BLACK than the US/Brits will jump the new players and brag about how they killed a bunch of BLACK clan members when in trueth all they did was baby seal club some lower ranked players. I done the Academy clan thing before on other games and it works for helping new players that want to learn and might not want to dedicate to a bigger full time clan. Like Koltes said we are on PvP2 and aren't planing to leave. If we did go to PvP1 cause of a force merge I would assume we would pick a new name and even nation and start up or own legacy there.
  18. Again there is PvP1 and there is PvP2. I mention PvE cause it tends to get forgotten along with PvP2. So if you would be nice if you mention which ones so folks know where to find ya'll.
  19. You do know there is more than one PvP servers. Just though I point out there is the redheaded step child (PvP2) and bastard child (that is the PvE server). I'm pretty sure either PvP servers would enjoy the increase in numbers, but prob more on the smaller nations.
  20. And yes I know we are suppose to be hard mode, but Pirates don't get alliances and well some of the small nations don't get that either. Right no on PvP2 we have the three largest nations allianged with each other. Even they are trying to figure who they can fight since the Pirates aren't putting up a fight any more cause folks don't want to fight a 25 vs 5 fight (well more like 10). That what happens when there is no balance and checks for the system and power alliances can be made. They didn't put in capture the capital so right now nations like Spain, Swede or Franch with like 10 players (yes we know spain has less than that). They could be easly crushed to one port and keeped that way. With no map reset or total conquest you can have two a very stail map that no one fights and only the tow power nations have every thing. Than you get folks leaving and switching nations and than you get even more problem than we have about poplation and game play. I all ready watched some of the small nations try to have alliances with one of the biggers, but they can't cause one of there alliances buddies is at war with that smaller nation so it auto fails. There seems to be no end game or resets so the game is going to grind to even more of a boring hault where no one does anything any more. We are just seeing it sooner on PvP2 than PvP1 cause of our smaller population.
  21. The only problem I have with blockade causing or reducing hostility is it kills the little guys for sure. It's all ready bad enough with the current system to try to stop a larger nation form running up agro

I'm always going back and editing my post cause of that. I'm an offshore oil rig hand not an English major dang-it....lol
  23. But I think some areas do have hidden stat changes. I made something the other day that shouldn't have added structure and noticed it did. I think it was a cedar rattler for some one. Than again it was exceptional and they are suppose to have stat boost over a basic ship. Remember basic ships no longer have negative stats they are the base line of ships so all above that got a slight boost.
  24. Oh one thing is changed. The PvE missions are now Rattler not the Cerberus. Are we going to get some extra dry docks or something if we are going to have to keep all these extra ships around to do these mission? DRY DOCKS even if it's clan only would rock. Though I would love to have a small dock as a player in my capital to put ships I'm not currently using in game or ships like event ships. I won't use these Cerberus I made prob for a long time until they come up again on any PvE event missions.
  25. I kinda like the two circle thing cause OW speed is not the same as battle speed/time so if your not that close you should be able to get in. Devs even said they did it for any one about 2 mins from the battle but I don't see it like that unless it's two mins bad wind to get there. Than most of them wouldn't of made it in time any way. I do agree the tag should be dropped to 10-15 secs. Though what they really need to do is MAKE IT SO EVERY ONE IN GROUP CAN SEE IT. That way they know if I tag some one to get there but into the center circle or they will be far away. I have had so many tags messed up cause the 20 secs just take to long and folks can move all over the freaking place and out of the small inner circle in that time. If your that close to tag some one than you should be able to tag them and be in battle not have to continue to chase them down and keep it for 20 seconds.. The rest of the stuff I agree with too though I think no tage/join pull for 3 mins is way to long. Leave that as is and keep the two circle system but fix the AI on OW. I don't mind there being ships out there to watch out for, but freaking why is every fleet SOL's and why is there so many war ships over trader/merchants. Put some more merchant fleets out there with escorts than just the solos and drop the number of SOL's National Capital regions of course should have a lot of fleets as that is the Nations main hub. It's just all other areas. I don't mind the fortifications either, but there are some spots the forts should be just towers. I'm all game for them to be at ports to protect you when your just about to get into port and have to wait for the enter tab to pop up. There are a few ports that are still a pain to get into even with shallow ships and could be a tag nightmare for any one trying to get into the safety of ports. Those are the ones that prob should have forts for sure. Cause if you hadn't got that tag than you way to close to that port any way if they are about to enter it.
