Its is more expensive but not DRASTICALLY expensive. Because people have not yet fully realized that doubloons are not pvp marks. Once the memory of pvp marks will be gone they wont feel so expensive. Doubloons drop a lot and we see it in data. Permits can be received for doubloons. So lets wait and see. PS.. first rates can be captured for free from all NPCs on the Peace server, which is calm, tranquil and only provides relaxation for the age of sail fans.

Hotfix was deployed today on 2nd November Fixed the bug that did not let access the looted cargo from NPC trader ships if certain resource was present in hold Fixed the bug in the assist formula (assists now give proper reals - not inflated reals) Search and destroy and Hunt missions in shallow water ports are now only for 7th and 6th rates (no longer they give hunts for 1st rates) Fixed the server exception bug that did not sometimes failed to track hunt missions kills and did not register port battle results participants of 5 port battles that failed to register will receive compensation into redeemables Fixed the doubloon icon in shops Increased doubloon rewards for patrols

In this case you need to move the operational base to the borders with enemies - leaving the crating base in the rear. Enemy ships are concentrated in the enemy waters and near the borders. This effect is not happening on the Peace server though

Every ship matter now. Every ship you see in the open world (even NPCs) could carry something valuable and is worth trying to attack. It will be very disappointing if someone joins your battle and takes this loot from you. Loot pick up rule clarification is required. Lets discuss the proposal proposed rules You can destroy the friendly ship who is stealing your loot under the following conditions (all must be fulfilled at the same time) Friendly ship did not initiate the battle - if he initiated the battle its his loot even if he did not destroy the target. (you can check who initiated the battle it in the TAB interface) Friendly ship does not inflict any damage on the enemies (you can approximate it by lack of kills or assists) Friendly ship does not have any significant damage received from the enemy (was not active in battle and only joined to pick up loot) This is not a port battle Here is the recommended set of actions. Warn the player that it is your cargo and he should not take it - 2-3 times in chat If the warning is ignored and all 3 above mentioned pre-conditions exist - take a screenshot that of that ship near the ship he is looting After warnings and a screenshot you can destroy the target and take back whats yours. This rule does not apply to port battles as you as a clan decide who can enter your port battles. You allowed them to enter thus you allow them to take part of the spoils. If your ship was destroyed by friendlies for loot pick up you are not entitled for any compensation if above preconditions were met. If you feel your ship was destroyed unfairly - you can report this to tribunal. Lets discuss

Port battles did not register due to tracking bug because of the newly introduced mechanic. Its too risky to change the ports to new owners manually so participants will have to try to conquer those ports again.. We will give a special chest to redeemables to all participants of these port battles for this great inconvenience.

Two port battles results did not register due to a new tracking mechanic (related to fort damage) and broke. Our problem. And a big bug was found and fixed as a result We will discuss compensation internally and will give it to all failed port battle participants for this big inconvenience. I think a special chest for all battles participants will make them less unhappy.

Hey @Bobzillah do you know that people kind of sleep during the nights.. maybe some understanding about it wouldn't hurt? I asked for screenshots when it was already late. There is no knowledge book called extra rum. All books that were acting like physical upgrades were removed from books and just disappeared or were turned into an upgrade. More detailed description will follow

Patch 27 - New Economy feedback.
admin replied to admin's topic in Patch Feedback and General discussions
You cannot compare old prices with new prices in such a way. Because the value of pvp mark before the patch is irrelevant. The value of combat mark is also irrelevant - they were abandoned. Doubloons is a new currency. Silver reals is denominated old gold (25 gold to 1 real) One could argue that 100000 old gold is 4000 reals = one pvp mark ___ and 3000 old gold = 120 reals = combat mark and he will be right. But pvp marks do not exist anymore, and they are not used in new crafting and do not drop anywhere (and never will) Doubloons will find their own market price against reals (which will definitely be lower) -
Patch 27 - Port interface and usability feedback

it was always like this.. because traders who travel to ports without the warehouses want to sell directly from hold. -

Patch 27 - New Economy feedback.

The method how goods are delivered to the Caribbean has changed. For example we need to deliver 2400 theoretical logs to the caribbean Previously goods were delivered in the amount of 10 logs every hour to 10 ports (each port): 2400 in total Now goods are delivered by NPCs in holds - so one of those ten ports receives the full load of 2400 logs so parrot cay and tordo still have a chance to get those goods delivered. But if they are delivered it will full indiaman worth of goods. -

Hostility for killing OW AI
admin replied to Gott365's topic in Patch Feedback and General discussions
We have not changed anything. Because of One Nation - One Flag - you now see better concentrations of national NPC around National ports. NPCs always provided hostility. PVP kills also provided hostility.- 23 replies

Fair fight against whom? Bots or players? I am sorry but brand new players only sail in a cutter for like 4-5 maybe 10 battles and then they rank up and find better ships - they definitely do not look for pvp in a cutter. Remember that tutorial (if you pass exams) gets you the leutenant rank and final exam (very hard) gives you M&C. You can sail cerberus or renommme after exams. They are great in pve even undercrewed. There will be an operation Welcome to the Caribbean for the new players that will guide them to right places and right clans. Thats why clan leaderboard is added (but not finished). No progression will be possible if a new player does not join an active clan from the leaderboard or starts his own which will be one of the tasks of the operation. PS though i remember the posts like "i am a new player with just 200 hours"
