  1. We did not see positive spike in reviews after we added Implacable as crafted and tested De Ruyter in event. We consider that nobody cared for crafted ships anymore. Perhaps those who care about new ships did not update the reviews should do so if they are interested in de Ruyter as crafteable. If they stay silent they give the reviews to be ruled by vocal haters who just circle jerk each other. Positive reviews always get less likes, while haters group up always favoriting negative sentiment. As this is business and teams shift to popular projects from unpopular projects NA team gets developers based on the reviews. To plan ahead I need to see how much resources i will have available and will have to consider hiding some content behind events. Here is how it works : Higher reviews - more developers, lower reviews - less developers (including dutch ship creators). So dutch players can make an effort to encourage artists by actually 1) saying thank you in reviews or 2) saying they are pissed off in reviews. We have not said that it is not going to be crafteable. But we will keep it for future occasions. Right now there is no point to add it as it seems nobody wants it. If players wanted it they would appreciate it in reviews.

  4. Keeping a player in battle must depend on active action. Control perk is just for ships without chasers - it might play out differently but we definitely not going to increase the range (only reduce it). From next patch player will have to actively damage the opponent to keep him in battle. Current 750m implementation is long enough, but might get shortened.
  5. This idea relies too much in faith in human ethical behaviour (faith which we no longer have). You can abuse control by keeping the player (for example a player without guns) in battle.

Also You are implying that we got the best of steam award by driving blind? In this case dont you mean we are FUCKNIG AWESOME developers who are able to develop one of the best games of 2019 (by valve's Gaben opinion) by not playing it at all ?
  9. You should read the patchnotes information first - it said - hostility time will be unified and slowed down. All ports will take similar time despite player numbers. Having numbers will just allow defenders or attackers to stop it from happening. There will be no more insta hostility flips.
  10. How so? How do you calculate this? Speed and kiting is relevant now because you can hold distance and use speed to slowly gain or distance youself and 1 cannonball into sails from 1.5km is enought to keep the target in battle. In damage based exit = You wont deliver enough damage from kiting distance = you target laughs and exits. PZ is different because in PZ you are almost sure you will sink and cant exit for a while, thats why they kite - to max damage. But they will be dead eventually.

  12. Well no I have 1 programmer who is filled with work on current priorities and cutting the gangrene is the best way. Screening is cut and not coming back ever again. Screening should be done during hostiltiy and port battle day is for port battles, for some reason it turned into a SECOND attempt to stop the port battle.
  13. We like it better as an event ship. We were just replying to the statement that the ship is not in game. Many captains own it and some sail it.

By valve opinion this game is one of the best releases from early access in 2019 By average hours per player its a top 25 game on steam. It's in 200 most played game on Steam overall by PCU If you (your words) think its a royalLY *** ed up game, noone will ever give your advice a real chance, due to significant reality distortion field around you - which makes everything look worse in your mind, which transfers to your typing

This waste of other people's time is not content We are now also reworking EXIT TIMER which will depend on damage per last minute to avoid people from keeping large ships in battle by single shots. I cant believe it took so long to realise this. To keep a person in battle you will have to deliver good amount of damage otherwise this battle is over.   20. I am not good at being a central midfilder or mezzalla on a football pitch. I am not giving advice to mezallas and do not complain when they do not play as i tell them. We listen to useful feedback (even from critics) thats why Steirmarken flag collection and intrepido(banned) collection will still be a thing. As they proposed something useful and needed. Most features in game are by suggested by players, but we stopped working up by a committee. But the suggestion framework must be fulfilled. So if you dont like Teleport to port battle - fine - but dont say shit about my opinions if they differ from yours. If you feel the desire to curse when responding to my ideas - get out of here and cool off.
  21. We did not say he is a fake player? Where did we say it. We said he has no idea what he is talking about. And all who thing that TP to the battle is bad are mistaken. They are mistaken in one thing - its bad for them. But they are a minority Majority of players do not want to be zerged and want a real chance for a port battle. We are removing the screen because the community did not handle themselves and abusers during screening and just passed this responsibility onto us by means of tribunals. I have no desire to sit in tribunals all day, so i am removing screening and give a small group an equal chance.
  22. See Lars.. Everyone has to do what they are good at. When we stopped management by committee on this forum and started doing what real player wants, what is right for the game and us online stopped falling and revenue started growing. To do that we just had to stop listening to players like you as you first have no idea about things you are suggesting and have no financial incentives if you are wrong.   24. Pink royale pink is the historical pink. But the original victory did not have stripes and ours wont have stripes too. Those paintings of the original victory paint are in the National Maritime Museum.
