I have the feeling everyone has his own expectations how the UI has to look like and I doubt that everyone will be satstified in the end regardless of the effort thats put into. But wouldnt it be a solution to make UI available for modding? So Karl who dislikes the compass can download an UI mod that suits more his expectations (for example)? -

I always feel unwell when the red lamp goes on because my car doesnt have the info how far i can drive now. Maybe that symbol causes the same feeling So could be just me. -

Thats fine. We just couldnt figure out how to start trading "by right click name and then trade" We just spammed each other with the invite message and expected something to happen. -

Tooltip for trading would be nice. "You have to be in within the smallest circle, it must be a player of the same nation" Was trying 5 mins with pg to start trading. We were spamming each other with "lets trade" but nothing happened till we moved closer -
It worked for me. But only after we figure out that you have to be in the small circle and not the attack circle otherwise trade didnt start for me. Maybe you left the circle while trading? By the way i opened my hold before i started trading.

What I dislike: The Shallow warning is kind of hard to see. Blue in blue. The inventory, map, tow to port symbols are hard to spot the first time. They are very transparent The "Reinforcement zone notification on the bottom right over the compass is very small" The "cannot join pbs" Cannot attack timer in the upper left are small as well. They have this snake showing time running down but i miss "numbers" (I know they show up when I hover over them with the mouse) I normally have the chat on the left bottom now my fps and ping is hidden by the chat The grey/white of the protractor makes it hard to see on the new map What I do like The new UI doesnt block the view of the itself beautiful game (ships and surroundings) The tooltips are very well done and detailed the new ship hail window What I would like to see/add: Change mission symbols, treasure fleet, patrol symbol to a more fitting new UI style. Patrol symbol could be such a symbol for example -
yeah they are part of the patchnotes, patch hitting today thats why i asked^^

Does nobody remember the dude that bought everyday the same flag just to deny conquest? Thats how good the flag system was.

Thats old its on hold because, guess what "less players than NA" They got their place in the patrol zone no reason to take over while being even a smaller grp

@fox2runasked for many stuff thats now ingame. Like ships that are accessible through notes + patrol zone for instant action etc. He promised bigger numbers he said thats the way to go. I guess what the result is. Players leave because the game has nothing to do with history anymore how you solve that? NAL was instant action nobody played it. Dont come up with but it was just pve. If the interest would have been there everyone would have left NA and played NAL instead and many lost would have joined for the big pvp clash.

It dosent matter. What he wants is 1,2,3 click sail. Screw the logistic, screw rvr, screw others, screw challenge just I.

You already have the option to do that in any port you can build an outpost. Do you know the story of the "Forgetful Squirrel"? You just have to think 1 step ahead 😉

so where you want to use the gun packages? and free for all towns have no guns for a reason 😉 But actually they have they are called mediums. Every port sells them.

instead of reducing content for crafters and merchant players come up with something that adds content. That makes it easier for such players to know where to sell and what to sell.

to 1. Do front and mizzen equal out the main sail area? I dont have the numbers but front and main sail look almost the same. So with all 3 sails up the ship will always do this (see picture below). AT least thats what the ship currently does ingame. So kind of impossible to compare the speed because the ship will always turn and lose speed and rudder use will reduce speed even more (and its kind of hard because its impossible to set rudder to a certain degree) But thx for clarification :)) that force is equal regarding on which side the sail is and that a sail pressed against a mast has no - effect. to 2: I agree on and its only a matter of taste really, because like you said rl physics like slipstream doesnt exist in NA. In my opinion it would just make the ship look better. (not that she is ugly) -
