    Maybe sail dmg model needs an overhaul. Xebec made it clear that each mast for her is 33% looking at the sail size I would give each mast the same percentage. Mizzen should be around 25%. Main and front should share the other 75%. Regarding the xebec issue Iam not sure how percentage gets counted for all other ships. I always thought sail area has a huge impact but it doesn't look like. But yeah that's a topic on its own. I can understand the mmo guys advocating for mods and all other that say they are op. Good step would be to make encyclopedias at least a 2-3slot thing. Control stacking more Give more options to obtain mods

    if that would be true why not go to the patrol? Should be cramped with all that players that want fights in reasonable amount of time.

    No I broke so many bowsprit on the xebec. They don't reduce sail procenatge when lost. Sails are only connected to front main mizzen by 33%each mast.

    There are no sails on the bow. A broken bowsprit has no effect.

    The Action will always be there where players can get the most marks due to the easiest way. Making patrol battles fair will just lead to less participation if there are other more easier ways to gain marks.

    Exactly. All that talking of meaningful battles. In the end the battle is just meaningful when it's a win. Losing is always a gank. Gank by numbers or gank by skillorz.

    I understand the intention but people will just gank for the pvp medal to get easy 50 battles and do empty/vs alts/diplo pbs in order to get the pb medal.

    Regarding the the german sub forum: both ships could have been shit ships and people would still have bought them in order to support the game (they are even more happy about the dock expansion). I bet when gamelabs would place a donate dlc people would use that as well.

    With the right ship all sail force mods are broken (14% speedboost for pfrig) but hey just my opinion
