  1. Faction ships around the faction stations space ( or even in the entire system ) will investigate your status and engage when they see fit. I mostly play smuggler ( dealing in stolen cargo and illegal merchandise ) and it can be very dicey at times to bypass them.
  2. Er.... makes little sense to me. IF AI going to be aggressive then they get aggressive to enemy player in the designated own nation zones, similar to security forces in Elite; with the added peril of having passing by NPCs even joining on going battles. End of. That's how you do it, or else it is a "lost piece of coding without any 'real' use".

  4. Correct. Rewards are account based. Not character based. But, a new character will be master&commander outright !?! ( if you made the final exam ) I deleted my previous one and remade a new character in sweden and was already at 280 crew level.

  8. That's how it should work. If you found anything incorrect please report. - you attack a enemy player - - your nation npc ow ships passing by won't be dragged - - his nation npc ships passing by will be dragged - ____ you attack an AI - your nation NPC fleet passing by won't be dragged - - enemy AI nation NPC fleet passing by will be dragged - --- so far so good, this two situations have been working flawlessly on my end. didn't see any anomalies; both in zone or outside of it.
  9. Read again: NPC allies are dragged IF you are attacked, not when you attack ( or are part of a group attacking). Only battle groups are pulled together. Given NPCs never attack, there's your answer.
  10. Must be your nation. Must be inside tag circle.
  11. Always worked this way. If you are attacked the NPC next to you will be dragged. If you attack, they aren't.
  12. Make sailing and combat proper simcore if you think about removing costs.

  14. Mirror damage will do the same to sink your buddies. Both shoot each other and sink mutually FF works perfectly.

  19. Both methods have merit. Say a 3v1 in the old system. 9 repairs vs 3. What we would do was to cycle during the battle ( not unlike what is done today ).

  23. Mutually accepted Green on Green is allowed. That is the rule. "deny Marks" is a after thought and has no influence in the Rule.
