  1. Okay then. Let us have it, drums and shout and merchant sailors screaming mercy With a On/Off switch in the options please, for us folk that can't be bothered with such afk contraptions.
  2. *yawn* Most of the pirates are Nation rebels. I'd call all this a civil war to be honest and it seems the loyalists are winning.
  3. It is all combined and not thought of independently. Any Pirate rework would be in pair with National Lordships, National Crew pool, etc. Just the crew alone, I believe, will be quite a balancer. Devs must stand firm on that one, it will make the difference between a great navy and a numerous navy.
  4. If you switch nation you lose the title. you will have to FIGHT for it again.
  5. hmmm ok, thought you'd test it in duel.
  6. Thanks Jeheil for the acceleration tests. What model you used for this btw ?
  7. I don't assume nor do I use the GPS sites. I know. Do Maritime crews even have beat to quarters ? Are they Navy ? Honest question as the way I see it, when you are in a trader you are a merchant captain and when in a warship you are indeed a Navy captain.
  8. Lol, nice reply and straight to the point. Find it funny that many captains go hit PvE'rs in emeny waters but in turn leave their own unguarded. Such is the flow of National unity bahahahah
  9. Yes please. Asset and Rank Wipe and then let's do it.
  10. ^^ that is probably the best. Add mass of cargo.
  11. Would rather see a definite Navy versus Maritime crews setup that a crew quality sterile from what background they are, war or merchants crews, both with very very different qualities and will to fight.
  12. Likewise, supporting no merge.
  13. Same for Nations. You wouldn't be able to go Post Captain if refusing to fight even against some odds ( yes it happens all the time in NA), from the revolutionary and napoleonic wars, before and after Amiens, odds would be usually 1v2 BR, especially in the RN but also on the other navies depending on what the objectives for the squadron/ship would be. We might reach that point with Piracy rework along with Admiralty, who knows.
  14. That is correct and it is the combination that kills. Shattered timbers won't stop much
  15. Exactly. I do not forget. That's why we have nice AI at the moment. They can be challenging for a new player but not deadly unless it is a complete mishap. For savvy captains though the AI is nothing at all.
  16. Nice. Yes, "if it gets through". I think it is a "language" thing and the way it gets "misinterpreted" as well. That's why it is excellent to test kudos for that. My wild guess, I do use grape all the time, is - Armour as per Teak/Planking/Extra planking is ignored. Wood thickness is still there, as the structural strength doesn't get vaporized.
  17. 90 minutes... That's a trade run from Charleston to Kingston, or from Mortimer to Gustavia. Damn !!!!....
  18. Ignores armour but not the structure. Aim the open decks please. Nice testing
  19. You have a serious issue with interpreting what is being said. Or maybe you are used to solving company issues with a crowbar in your line of business. You lost a ship durability ( and cargo if it applies). Enemy gets a ship as a prize and the cargo. You save crew and Officers and the XP for the fight. I hope Gold is awarded by victory/prize ( not damage ). Where is the punishment ?
  20. Only thing I would touch would be the yard turning force/speed at all sails pre-determined setups, slow, battle, etc.
  21. Perfectly understand. I am okay with the options I have at the moment ( apart from the skynet ). But.... a review over Navy and Maritime crews, war and trade focuses, should improve the gameplay.
