Not arguing here. I'm just testing the game. When you say 30 minutes you better have tested it and show it is in fact 30 minutes so it can be fixed IF devs want it that way. -

That's cool From what've seen they are mostly under 15 minutes sail, but i might just been lucky, but furthest i tested was taken in KPR and mission was in St. Ann. was something like 12 minutes sail give the wind rotation. If it was a straight bee line it would be something like 5. -

Could someone in PvE server do a test ? Grab a 1st rate and sail with good wind for 30 minutes. Please record your end position. Thank you. -

Let's drop the "population" card in the debates to make a personal point or use as reasoning leverage. Please. Plus let's keep it to the point, no chasms between PvE / PvP. Caribbean server is a server that has all mechanics. Question: - Why do missions need to be always safe on a PvP server? Question 2: - Is there a issue with sailing to a mission ? What is the issue ? Twisting reasons to fit own individual idea of a game does not represent the entire community. Think about Pros and Cons. -

Maybe for testing phase purposes it is not a big deal. If it turns premium like the Yacht, then it is a wonky deal ( it says Premium Ship in the ship card btw). Let's wait for the devs to clear this out. -
Exactly ! Hence why a simple 3 step is great for initial assessment, by community via discussion of the idea, and by devs. - suggestion synopse - pros - cons Can't get more simple than that. Obviously a mind more keen on details can do what many do, illustrate with screens, videos, and even the sources they used as inspiration, history books, other games, etc.

That you hear in your head, with your own voice, in your own tone, in the state of mind you are in that moment. Common mistake. I do it often, to my own prejudice. Read, unbiased, what is written - words in a screen, with no sound. We may not agree with the presented reasoning and complex way of presenting the suggestions but we must accept that the answer is complete and thought through.

When we ask for a reason we must be ready to accept an answer and not get disgruntled by it. Don't go nuts because the answer wasn't what we expected huh... A simple suggestion layout is - suggestion idea - pros of the idea for all / for part / for a niche - cons of the idea for a niche / for part / for all As simple as that will be quite useful.

Sorry. No. I personally shalt not be swayed by your vessel preferences suggestion and I do hope the GL team as well. It is a suggestion that delivers a axe blow into the naval community that enjoys the "unrated" for what they are, for what they represent in the age of sail, and it would be analog to stopping weatherly cruiser frigates to join ship of the line encounters... I understand the frustration, and feel "ashamed" of having those vessels being used by 1 captain in such a less appropriate way but cannot cut an entire class of captains from participating in whatever events are occurring in the open world. Cannot and will not accept anything that stops a valid vessel design from the age of sail to participate actively. - Basic Cutters should be 100% isolated from any player to player interaction on their own volition. -
One thing is to design a game, and I mean not programming but put down all the rulebook, mechanic, game pieces, interactive resolution etc. The cool part is that Open World itself is community suggestion Other is to feed in suggestions as the design comes along and we are all excellent at that in our own way and the way we perceive this age of sail game. As you say, we all see bits of our discussions in the naval action world.
