  1. Absolutely ! I'd say most of the game is built on community fueled ideas
  2. You are sorely confused. Participating within a game development discussion, fueling ideas and having a good time in a hobby is never a waste of time. That's how it goes. Now if you want to raise a fist I suggest you find yourself another picture on the wall.
  3. *sigh* With all due respect, Sir... is this even for real ?! Nevermind, no need to answer. Snappy salute.
  4. Is this a Tribunal or a fishwives discussion ? Keep to facts, bring evidence, keep emotions at bay. It is under review.
  5. maybe development pipeline is getting closer and closer to release ? I mean... we all understand we still player-testers of a "unreleased" game, right ?
  6. On a port of your nation, access Admiralty ( or Pirate Den ). You should have an item called Perk Reset Permit, which can be exchanged for Combat Marks.
  7. A team represents the entire game as a whole. Each member may represent a "niche" of type of playing. Together they bring voice to all parts of the game, as complex as it can be. First: - languages CRs - server CRs Then... Any member found of having used diminishing discourse with the intent of infatuating own ego or making a "player leave the game" would make a horrible CR for a start. Any member found of using upset battle chat examples as a "badge of badass" would be out IMO. A good CR starts and ends with being correct, polite and up to standards.
  8. It is important to read only what is written and not make assumptions. Then everything is clear even if some context is missing, but then it is just a question of asking clarification
  9. Not a Game Help Q&A but Discussion. Moved to correct board.
  10. As we have it, when we press Repair we have the Sails - Armor - Crew. Just add a 4th option - All.
  11. Whatever indeed. Expectations are a individual thing Glad we can share experiences.
  12. Hardcore doesn't necessarily mean time investment in a game. Can be related to game intended simulated experience. - press SAIL - find a target that is suitable for the challenge you look for ( AI or player ) - engage in naval combat - return to port - logoff Can be done in under 60 minutes.
  13. You fellows suggest something and then, instead of keeping it rolling properly turn your own suggestion into a trolling contest. Guess it has run its course.
  14. If you say so. You can chronometer distance with the ingame timer. Don't need stars for navigation. Map, compass, protractor, clock. Perfect.
  15. Ah yes, individual map ofc. When I said clan map I said a collaborative common map for all members so all can see the same charts.
  16. Nvm. Thx for answer. This is Q&A, not discussion by the way.
  17. A combination of sound + model wood appearance could be interesting ( no arcade meters and bars ) so to accommodate for the sound impaired players.
  18. Two things. - indirect RvR by engaging enemy merchant shipping ferrying woods and parts and resources and whatsoever, including currency IS a good move. We had it once, before insta ships with marks. Not that I mind it but too much is too much. It is not the sinking of the enemy resources. It is actually the stealing them. Like a underdog nation, with little support platform of resources will get them somewhere else. Mostly through raiding the enemy and bringing the goods home to put to good use. - to test something like this, I am affraid to say, ALL captains must kickoff with ZERO assets or else the foundations are clay. Unsure if I totally like the proposal of keeping Admiralty currency to be used as a exchange of ships - meaning no resources have to be moved nor Labor Hours spent to build it.
  19. Imagine a place being named a thousand times over. I'd say functionality being the best reason.
  20. Fantastic work on the stay sails depower ! +millions
  21. Aye Suppen. In truth we already have a compass, a chart, a protractor and a stopwatch in game. Hence, by honing naviation skills ( we all have to do it, there's no way around it ) one can, after a while tell with a fair degree of certainty where one is. This being said I, personally, would actually like two things. 1. Ability to put marks on map, so you make marks for future use. Hence making your own routes. 2. Clan map. So members can name places, coves, inlets, river mouths, etc.
  22. under review Everyone - follow Tribunal rules.
