I already read the patch notes and the devs are fixing the issue by releasing a pre made ship pack. There is no changes in how ships are made by the AI. I am planning doing the same with the shared design feature.

Never. You will have more luck in asking the devs to add the real H-class secondary tower.

The higher the ship design complexity, the more the AI will struggle to get a good ship design. In that case I recommend to start the campaign in 1890. It will be much quicker.

---Preview--- The new addition from Nathan allows me to edit components icons. I tried my best to do a scout plane icon that follows UAD art style. Later I can do another pixel paiting to the planes floats.

What I am saying is that Germany have 2 flags to represent the democracy state. One for the government and another for the navy. You will see both inside the "flags" folder. You will also see them in game by playing with Germany between 1920-1930. Impossible to miss.

NAR streamlined the installation procedure to make it easier and avoid possible user errors: 1) Set the game language to be in english or german (unofficial, courtesy from @Patriot-d-H) 2)Backup if you wish but move or delete this files from this location: C:\users\(user)\Appdata\LocalLow\Game Labs\Ultimate Admiral Dreadnoughts custom_battle_data.bin mission_data.bin save_x.bin The reason behind this, is the many changes to the game files will make all your designs impossible to work with the mod. 3) Go here and follow the instructions if you still don't have the melon loader installed or the most recent version of TweaksAndFixes.Dll. Don't forget to add a 👍 in the page to show your support to Nathan brilliant work. 4) Download all NAR mod files: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1lgxYZ6NM3NBrLl6sYqOrxVj2ayrkXBBh Extract the downloaded file using unrar or another similar program. Move the content inside from the folder extracted to the "Mods" location created when installing the MelonLoader. It should be here: C:\...\Steam\steamapps\common\Ultimate Admiral Dreadnoughts\Mods

I see what you are saying but is not affecting me. 2.9% aft weight without doing anything special is nothing.

You are missing the point. You and the AI can send capitals ships to sail alone. The problem is when those capital ships are part of a fleet with multiple ships. The game engine could generate a battle by only choosing one capital ship against some TBs or DDs. See the difference?

BETA 2.9 "Major Powers update"- N.A.R. changelog: I know I said no more updates in the middle of the week, but this one is an important one that should improve the gameplay experience for all players. From Nathan: "New feature: Set taf_alliance_changes to 1 and when one nation goes to war, all its allies will join the war immediately. Any nation allied to both sides when two nations go to war will break its alliance with both of them and have relations reset to neutral with both of them." Note: Don't forget to update Taf dll. Report if you find any error with this new improvement. Maybe it needs a new campaign to work.

No. Only BC or a BB sailing alone against TBs or DDs.

Correct. To see a capital ship, that should be sailing with the fleet, being ambushed alone by a group of TBs or DDs, doesn't make any sense.

BETA 2.8 "Major Powers update"- N.A.R. changelog: Northern Greece and Crete set to colonies. I tried to set them as "home" provinces but the game engine will think they are ottoman home provinces and will make it impossible to get them in a peace treaty. Ambush battles against lonely capital ships deleted. If working properly, no more lonely BB or BC being ambushed by TBs or DDs.

Well observed. 🫡 @sm0kin You are using an old provinces file or you started the campaign using an old version. That bug was already fixed in the recent updates so if you start a new campaign now the mod files updated, you will not see that issue anymore.

BETA 2.7 "Major Powers update"- N.A.R. changelog: Increased by 20% the research technology difficulty. Increased by x10 the VP difference to trigger a peace negotiations event. Increased by x10 the minimum VP on prolonged wars to check for peace events. I strongly suggest download the new Taf version which includes important fixes. Note: The mod IMO is already fully playable and enjoyable at this moment. So I will slow down and go back to my normal day routine, and focus on delivering important updates only in the weekends unless there is an important thing to be fixed. Summary of the work from previous weeks. New nations added, with historical flags, government changes, Admirals names and ship names. Many improvements to how AI design ships to improve the challenge and overall game experience. All major bugs fixed. In the next weeks my focus will be on AI ship design, to be better and quicker. I started a quick 1890 campaign on legendary difficult and I am not seeing any issue. You did any file editing or save editing?
