  1. If only spain put up as much resistance in the game as they did on the forums. #forumpvpbestpvp
  2. DLC ships got more folks on the water and out pvp’n than any other patch or content release previous. While I disagree with any DLC ships being in PBs, their OPness on the open water has lessened. If you don’t know how to run from a requin or beat a solo herc in a larger frigate you’re probaby not good enough to solo pvp anyway. DLC ships with all their faults have been the best content creating tools we’ve had thus far.
  3. Scroll over to the Spanish forum or keep an eye on Spain nation chat and you’ll see worse said daily about US players or Brits. Spain loves to have a victim complex. FYI tacos al pastor are my favorite.
  4. I could be persuaded to swing by las tortugas tonight for some tacos
  5. mmmmmm pirate flags
  6. Typically DLCs come after the game has been released, though in the case of NA...who knows.
  7. If he had tagged you or joined the battle later on, I would agree with the griefing. You however joined his battle and he’s clearly trying to get away from the AI and the gank
  8. Rax does a pretty good job of alienating himself from every nation he joins....almost immediately. You and I have been known to cause a little national dissent from time to time over the years, but we are merely novices in the art of master nation breaking compared to that guy. Breaker of nations, Dodger of timers....Raxius The Defiant
  9. My memory could be wrong, but didn't the US try to flip something during the Navasse thing? I remember going out and sinking a couple
  10. The problem with the ships currently, and this isn't exclusive to the Wappen, is just that there is no real reason to sail anything other than a Herc, Requin or a Speed Bellona for PVP.
  11. Does he have a name for his bat? I Was thinking Hartzy
  12. @Rabman He’s back in the bath salts again, you gotta do something this time.
  13. Working as intended.
  14. I'd prefer a better functioning game to better looking port buildings. But then again, I actually play the game.
  15. What incentive does @no one have to own a port of his own? He uses ports other pirate clans take, pay for and lose ships defending. He (and anyone) can just setup shop and put contracts or buy up the goods, piggybacking off the work of others. In a nutshell this is pretty much why RVR is dead. Why bother? The game is kind of half in / half out of a clan based system. Clans can orchestrate battles on their own, pay for the ports and receive what profits (if any) that they make. The nation can still use those ports without having to lift a finger. At least when ports were owned by the nation clans weren't losing money. We either need to ditch the clan based idea or commit to it 100%. This half in half out shit with 11 nations is not working.
  16. The real issue here is why can't we have one server 2-3 thousand players that provides plenty of overlap between timezones and has real diverse global oriented gameplay? Why aren't we pissed off that out of the 120-130k copies of this game sold can we only sustain 400-500 players on at max times on a good day? Back before the merge the servers rarely cracked 500. What is fundamentally wrong with this game that so many people stopped playing and found it too hard or too boring. Hint...it's not night flips. I used to think people were just waiting on until release to come back and play. Now I'm not so sure.
  17. I actually agree with Grafy here. In a nation based game money ports don’t work. If it was clan based it would.
  18. Obviously a nation based game is not working, so yes. Not sure about your contracts comment, the concept is simple enough. I want a clan to control who can place contracts in their ports and to be able to monopolize that resource should they choose. Clan X owns Carta. Everyone from that nation can place contracts including alts. There is almost no point to owning ports when you can leech off others.
  19. Yes I’m sure the toxicity on global is the reason why US players stopped playing en mass and reasons like getting kicked off to global server and RVR being restricted past 9pm EST on both PVP 1 and PVP 2 for almost a year and a half had nothing to do with it. Global is a cesspool at all times of the day.
  20. If you own and pay for the port you should be able to control who has access to it.
  21. The timer situation is still ideal. It would work fine if this game had more people.....400-450 on a good day is not a sustainable population regardless of which method we use. This game fizzled out before the great wipe, both Global and EU fizzled out individually and even now after the merge, the 1 server is fizzling out. Simply put, this game needs more content to keep people interested in it. Over the past couple of years the game has revised it's RVR methods, added a few more ships and tweaked a few things.....but ultimately the game has exactly the same level of content it had 2 years ago. It's boring, it's unimaginative and it's unsustainable. With a higher population timers will be more sustainable and even bullshit ports in the gulf would be viable. We just need people to play the game and therefor we need more content. More people and less nations.
  22. Players are peacocks. We like to show off our feathers.
  23. When you actually show up and participate in RVR rather than throw out opinions...I’d maybe start valuing yours. Move along no show Budgie!
  24. Yea I told Privateer to take it to the forums instead of waiting to catch Cid via in game PMs. He took it a bit too literal as I meant forum PMs
