  2. En utiliser tu entres une bataille dans un vaisseau NPC (bataille qu' un autre joueur a commencé en OW par attaquer un NPC) Gagne rien de ca, seulement pour le lolz dsl mon francais
  3. Hard to implement properly Does any battle count? 1v1 just as 5v1 etc.? Do bigger ships "count more" as smaller vessels? Or are there seperate rankings? OW Encounterings are RNG, how can you "proove" your abilities? How do you prevent Alt farming? Also this would lead to people not taking fights anymore "Because they have to stay on top of the ranking" I had a similar idea somewhen but I figured it only kind of worked for 1v1's in an arena match
  4. Agressive NPCs all over the map sounds like a bad idea at the first look.. Around capitals they got a reason to be a thing, protect noobs - but on a pvp server, being attacked by npcs all over the map? I dont know. Will have to test

Agree with @Gregory Rainsborough here, dont rush levelling up or you might quickly get burned out by the Game To answer the question, a quick way is taking a small manouverable ship (eg herc) and tagging solo npc 1dt rates. Sterncamp it and sternrake, proceed to sink it by raking damage (structure)

Im not a fan of this as big battles are decided within minutes; get a decent fireship in and the competetive battle is done - feels just like either ganking or being ganked afterwards, depending on how lucky you get / if RNG is on your side or not... Basically a gamble.. You should make a poll on this.. Prerty sure most players, all nations, prefer the original fireship Mechanics

  13. An 1st rate blew up about 5-6 ship lengths away from me; I was in brace, Crew shock (300-400 crew) + about 50% sail HP (main mast mid section came off plus some general sail damage) - another friendly about another 1 ship length away did not get damaged at all
  14. Easiest fix is make an option for players to choose in port if they want agressive ai or not (à la smuggler flag)
  15. You can change books at any time at zero cost, hence its obsolete - could perhaps be a perk

  17. Historically it also took 5500+ oak trees and over 6 years for the HMS victory to launch yet ingame for balance reasons it does not

You need to be thinking long term Basically the Port Upgrades were a smaller version of this; larger nations did, as they did their eco better, have a huge advantage in early game due to their well coordinated eco - and were thus able to pump out the "creme de la creme" in much larger quanitity Now, other nations eventually caught up. If you now go and think long-term, in a month or two, those larger nations will be able to craft a lot more of those new super boats - This time, it will take the others way longer to get on a similar level though. I do not see this working out very well for the game.

There have been reports with screenshots as proofs of npc fleets attacking players; the ships then drop raiders chests For some reason it seemed to only work for a few players - We've spotted the raiders (cant miss them, it's going super high speed), several of them, but never got attacked. Attacking them turns them into regular npcs with regular drops. Any elaboration?

  23. Now sure, it might not matter much on the PvE server, but it really does not take a mastermind to figure out a fleet of 25 regular woods 1st rates vs 25 seasoned woods 1st rate is basically just pointless RvR / PB's, on pvp, will ALYWAYS have the best possible woods/upgrades in them.
