  1. Leftover HAVOCS in Danish are inactive players.
  2. changing nations is a PROCESS. What matters is in the end, the whole clan changed nation and is making active use of the port in question Whereas BASTD put it onto an alter clan while staying British. (Some people on global discrd said BASTD was going to switch to Swden. Yeah right, what about that?)
  3. What ports is the "HAVOC alt can" holding? Right - none
  4. If you actually think that CRC clan is legit, you're a fool There are no complaints within Sweden about HAVOC owning San Juan, which they've owned before. We put everyone on the friend list anyway.
  5. San Juan: Belonged to HAVOC, in Danmark. Got pissed off by "privateers" not helping the nation effort. Changed Nation, ALL of us. Retook San Juan, which was ours. Important: ALL of us did the nation switch. Truxillo: BASTD, British, using a swedish alter to capture the port, while they stay British. Port is now locked in an alter clan. BASTD remains British. Can it be any more obvious?
  6. Just an addition from my side: If this gets classified as "alright", you open the pandoras box of alt witchery.
  7. I do No thanks
  8. Please dont Change redoutable BR. It's a bad Choice for PBs due to BR inefficiency which i think is good. Seeing DLCs only in PBs would be bad imo.
  9. What happened: Swedish Player [CRC] Die Geist, Rank Kapten, created 23.08.2019, started a hostility mission for Truxillo. A fleet of Russian 1st rates joined him to flip the port. The Port Battle is scheduled for 10.02.2020, 13:58. [CRC] is not on the friend list on any of the major Swedish RvR clans - it 99% surely doesn't have the capabilities to take any port. (It actually only has the 1 single player. can't really be more obvious.) Most likely an alt account, british or russian - up to the devs to check. In the mission, the hostility was actually grinded by the russian 1st rates. No legit swedish Kapten rank player would randomly sail from its starting port, Gustavia, across the map to Truxillo, to take a hostility mission and have a fleet of 1st rates join him. With the port being flipped by [CRC] it is therefore unable to be attacked for 4 days. Using this "mechanic" you can evidently evade port battles. So would it be fine for us to take a hostility mission for port XY (example Black River) using a GB account and have it filled with Dutch / Pirate / Spanish players to EVADE an actual port battle? This needs to be looked at ASAP @admin Suggested FIX: Only clans on the friendlist of the clan owning a port can pull hostility missions. UPDATE 10.02.2020, Port Battle: Pre-story (hostility)
  10. this thread might become relevant soon
  11. Mosquito Cay 5 AM British attempt at a Privateer Rush
  12. The ability to use captured lineships (most importantly 1st rates) for PvP
  13. Wasa rank is Kapitän zur See = 500 Crew Wasa default crew 550. 500 / 550 = 91% 91% * 400 BR = 364 BR --> 36 BR saved 36 + 486 (see above) = 522 BR saved 11'100 BR - 522 BR = 10'578 BR Plus some might have forgotten to replenish crew. Interesting, so this does work. Would be interesting to now know the exact calculation method - if it's actually linear or if there is some sort of a drop off
  14. ugh ok yeah but then if I want to get the actual BR of the fleet in the TAB board. That would be the displayed 11'100 minus the saved BR = 486 (see calculation above) which is 10'614 BR - which is still too high for the port Im getting confused
  15. Intersting so it does apply. Assuming they were undercrewing 900/1100. Which is 82% of the Crew. 82% of 900 BR = 738 BR. 900 BR - 738 BR = 162 BR saved per ship. 162 BR * 3 = 486 BR saved total According to your screenshot you were 1100 BR over though. What am I missing?
  16. Coming from this thread I believe we require some clarification. If a fully crewed surprise attacks a half crewed surprise - in battle it will display as 120 vs 120 BR. Whereas in the Open World it will show as 120 vs 60 BR. The battle therefore is open and free to join for 20 minutes for anything on the weaker side. Is there any way we can check our Battle Rating when the ship is being undercrewed? Does this apply for Port Battles? If Someone undercrews L'Océan at 75% of the crew - will it count as 75% of the Battle rating (75% of 900 = 675) and therefore allow for more ships to enter the PB? Is the % undercrewed linear to Battle Rating? or is there an exponential curve?
  17. That port is shroud cay. Battle is south of it. There is only a PZ north of shroud cay and wayyy south at deadmans cay. So cannot be a PZ battle. The issue is most likely the enemy undercrewing - his rank is low (lower BR than a surps 120) - it will still show 120 in TAB in battle. But in the OW the "actual" BR depending on how much it is being undercrewed is displayed. Must have been undercrewing enough for it to open the battle (+13% BR difference) But even then, battles close after 20 min (i think?) no matter the BR for everyone. Are you sure he joined after 25 min?
  18. 13* ports Also Interesting how you rate the capabilities of your nation
  19. stopped reading there cuz not true you flipped one of our ports without a word of notice in advance, participating in a multiflip with russians. Now as a consequence of that silly move you've lost 12 consecutive ports in the mosquito area. deal with it. Pearl Harbor anyone?
  20. damn you actually went for war ships for once 😃
