Region control maps
Sir Texas Sir replied to Sir Texas Sir's topic in Patch Feedback and General discussions
I'm not looking for the refits i have tons of info on that. I want to know per nation the total regions they own, but every thing currently says total ports. This is a list I made this week for PvP2 Weekly update of number of regions owned by each nation. Danish : 7 Regions Dutch: 11 Regions GB: 23 Regions France: 2 Regions Pirates: 5 Regions Spanish: 1 region Swedes: 5 regions US: 20 Regions This will let us know who is the strogest on regions held and weekly I'll be updating the numbers changed. While this isn't that hard on PvP2 cause we only get like a few port battles a week, but it would be handy if some one all ready came up with something to track this. -
Region control maps
Sir Texas Sir replied to Sir Texas Sir's topic in Patch Feedback and General discussions
Yah but I want a lazy man count of regions. I can count them by hand, but the old port count was nice to see how many each side has, but now it's by regions not ports you control. -
Is there any updated sites that have these stats on them that isn't out dated? I kinda would like to know the regions owned more than just the ports and this map is out dated that doesn't have the new ports. http://vps9712.ervers.com/map/pvp2/
-
It's like that any way with any alliance, isn't it like every three weeks?
-
I have added the port count that will be updated weekly after votes for alliance to the other thread. If some one wants to double check them I'm a mechanic not an accountant. No we don't want to gang up on ya'll. What we want is the server pop to grow and folks have stuff to do. To many folks leave cause they get bored. While I know you don't get to see the other nations chats, but we can get folks from the US (wait never mind) and Brits to confirm a lot of folks want to fight other nations of equal skill. That is why I keep saying Brits/Dutch or even US/Dutch alliance but not all three. Than who even sits out lets say the Brits can pick up one of the other small nations. To be honest Danes wouldn't be doing anything if it wasn't for folks attacking them right now. I bet they would be happy with just the exchange they get between the Brits for there port battles. Neither really taking any land (Les Cayes is prefect for this) or gaining. You guys need to stop the fear the zerg crap and just try things. If say we ZERG you and than just go get into the alliance and stop us. REMEMBER DUTCH DECLARED WAR ON PIRATES. Pirates have not declared war on any one. We have posted our intentions with Operation "Camel Toe". We are doing this so ya'll can stop saying, "SEE THEY ARE ZERGING." We have to document stuff cause folks like you and Decken can't get your numbers and facts right and think one attack is a zerg and pirates are back with 100000000 numbers. Not to mention some of the stuff we hear folks say about us in chats. There is so much BS rumors told to new players that aren't any where close to the trueth or what really is going on. I think some of them don't even have a clue and just make stuff up too. The last time we hit 200 was that first treasure hunt crap that one Sat. I think it hit a bit higher the second one and than numbers fell after that. We don't want easy fight, we want more equal fights. 35+ vs 15 is not easy fights or equal. We have no problem ith 25 vs 25. If you want good fights left folks get in and fill it so it's 25 vs 25. Screening works on PvP1 cause there is like 100 vs 100 trying to get into those port battles cause of there population (well not so much lately). Specially if your attacking a small nation you know can't support a full 25 in a port battle. There is no reason to keep them out of the fight. And this has nothing to do with Pirates. It's how ya'll treat the other small nations. You notice we are currently not counting US ports we took only three 3 ports? If we wanted to be like a nation we would of rolled. I hear Danes would love more folks during your prime time. I bet that would make you Dutch happy with Danes fielding 25 both time zones. I mean you think we want the easy win button right? That would be the easy win button and we would prob roll the server, but that isn't what we want. Dutch keep saying they want to help the little guys, but you keep turning around jumping on the bandwagon and attacking france who has nothing to do with your thing with Swedes and Badbenny, but you know they don't have the numbers so you keep taking there ports. Instead why don't you go play with brits and do your little excahnge of region like you wanted to do with windward with them, but pick something else? I mean they have over 20 regions. If you look at every time some one has attacked ya'll and not counting badbenny and his little group, it has been AFTER YOU ATTACKED THEM. YOU HAVE BEEN THE AGGRESSORS NOT THE OTHER NATIONS. If no one had attacked the Dans they would never grouped up with Swede and France.

They need to give the option to give up cargo to live. Like POTB have. I would let ships go with cargo if there was a ransom system myself or that I can take a part of there cargo. I do trade hunting in a LVG any way so I would have the cargo space. That way you can just take a little tax off the top and let them go. This is not a simulation so lets not make it harder for players. We still get folks calling out AI fleets thinking they are players. You remove that stuff it would make it even harder for them. Though I would love a flag for the pirates that say you think I"m in a Trader Snow when I'm truely in a Snow or other like ship close to a trader. Maybe even give us a false flag of a nation until we attack. Than all hell breaks out.
-
You do know you can have a 4 way alliance right? PvP1 has it set up that way. Believe it's the same nations too.
-
T-Bag = US Any one holding his pocket = DUTCH/BRITS Don't be a pocket holder....lol
-
Are you really that dense? Cause you haven't notice the change in server population? We couldn't do crap a month even a few weeks ago. We are recruiting and getting numbers back. Well than again you got the same Math skills as Decken. Hell folks are showing ya'll facts and numbers and you just keep ignoring that numbers at present aren't the same numbers say a week ago and defiantly not a month a go. They are still not up. If you look at our Pirate PB numbers you will notice it's the same guys almost every time. You look at the BDU and it's a mix of folks and not with just a few of the same faces. Showing the only reason we keep those numbers is cause it's the same guys every fight. It's also why we are way more effective of doing a fight. Not to mention we can only field one PB at a time. Looked like there was over 60-80 players last night between Wilmington and Windward on the BDU side compared to what 30-40 if you add DFS with the pirates numbers. And stop adding us together cause PIRATES DON"T HAVE AN ALLIANCE. They can't enter our port battles and we can't enter theirs. We screen to give them a fighting chance. Ya'l screen to give yourself the wining crush odds. You out number them even without the screeners unless it's during Danes prime time. Having 25 + 10 screeners is not the same and equal when you are going against a group of nations that can hardly field 25 players nad most of them don't make it in cause of screeners stopping them. I'll use last night as an example. US/Brit/Dutch had 25 in the Willimton port battle with who knows how many screeners out side. That would be a wild guess of 10+. Pirates had zero help cause of location of the port battle. The battle started 25 vs 13 cause folks where tagged out side. 3 got in pretty quick making it 25 vs 16. It was about half way the next 5 guys got into the battle to make it 25 vs 21. That means almost half that fight there was almost twice as many on one side than the other. That is not an equal fight. Skill and Battle coms was the only thing that pulled that fight through. To be honest Pirates really wasn't expecting to win it at all. Though instead of giving up, not showing or escaping we fought to the last second. At one point US had 900 points on the clock. They almost had that fight early on. Than it seem some gave up and started to leave or back off the fight. Prob thinking they had it in the bag. Well you never have it in the bag until the end of a fight. We keeped it locked at that spot for a good long while before we started to sink ships and controlled the circles. Many faces I see in those fights are not new guys, many of them have been around for a while. The problem is when your a bunch of care bears that don't learn the game an only use your numbers to bully folks around you don't learn to fight and how to turn the tables even when your facing over whelming odds. I hear folks are saying they are going to quit the game and such over two regions. FREAKING US HAS 20 OTHERS. That is why ya'll loose to us. Ya'll have no pride in your game and if some one just gives you a hint of resistance you freak out. We have no plan to take the coast line cause we don't have the numbers to keep them. We posted the operation we are doing and we will be wrapping it up soon and starting a new one. We have in almost 2 weeks killed almost 300 ships of the US nation alone along that coast line and that isn't counting PB and other area kills. Maybe if ya'll get off your arse and go do curse level missions and fight us instead of running you might get good too. Instead you us lame excuses and trying make up numbers about why we aren't the weaker side and why can excuse picking on the smaller side instead of having the two largest nations fight each other instead. How about this.....DUTCH get you hello kittying hands off pocket and do things for your own nation. You might become a stronger nation. I though it was going to be really healthy for ya'll and British to keep the alliance broken so you could fight each other. They need to get there hands off US pockets too. Both of ya'll are nothing but little pocket holders. Grow some balls and step away from them. They are the ones that are holding you back. Look who shows up to your port battles? It's honestly not the US for the most part. Hell I would support a Dutch/Brit alliance if they would drop US so they can finally get a bit taste of there own meds. US doesn't have to be the biggest nation and they will never get back on there feet an united with this alliance. Same for Brits.
-
That is why I keep them separate and made Pirates there own faction when talking about alliances. That post is about alliances and ports and resources they can use. I left Spain out of the DFS/DSF (keep typing it both ways) alliance cause it's not voted in yet. They can not use our ports and we can not use theirs. I'm also leaving out the fact that folks from all the nations have alts they can use. While I have alts myself. I play this game and think of actions for it as if I was a solo players that has no alts. It's really a big butt in the head that say things like, "&&UCK the MORT Rats or the solo players cause I can just get this or that from my alt." Not every one has them so it's not the mentality we should be playing with. As fro the DSF silver. You forget Brit keeps attacking that region. It has been exchanging hands back and forth between them and the Danes over the last few weeks. Speaking of which if some one wanted to set up a region to do exchange of port battles Les Cayes would be a very good one. As it doesn't hold any major regional bonus or product so the Danes/Brits can just pass it back and forth and keep doing Port Battles over it in stead of hitting other econ ports. Sooner or later the Danes will get piss and hit something that you don't have several back up regions of. It's all ways good to go back and review things. Like didn't you find out now your mods don't switch when you change ships. I'm sure your not the only one to find out about this. I have no clue how the TS coms was over on the US side, but it sounded salty as hell after the PB by what I was getting from folks in there nation chat. They jump way to fast to point fingers and blame on each other. It's war your going to loose a port here and there. Specially when you have your self so spread out thin and not the suport to keep them all. We learned that during the US/Brit stuff before Patch. It was there only crafting region bonus for there nation. They haven't pushed on ya'll or did anything to cause any aggression other than support defense against the attacks on Danes up north. So really your just being the little bully picking on the little guy cause they can't realy fight back. Doing so while we where in a port battle so we couldn't help even the odds just means you won't fight fair fights and nothing more than a coward. We did think it was odd that there was a lot more Dutch in the US PB than expected. I got a feeling your own nation was not in agreement for supporting that attack. You could all ways just let the rogue Brits that attacked it do there own fighting.. It's not like they care, look at poor Spain. No one has offered to even try to give them back any of the regions around them. Hell we all know US won't ever do it. Maybe Pirates will get a wild hair up our arse and do it like we have so many times in the past with many other nations. Took a region for them and than gave it to them uncontested. After all that is how DUTCH got ports back after the Danes took them down to one port. We took them from the Brits and than gave them to the dutch uncontested. But Decken was US back than. Hell he's still a US pocket holder so nothing really surprises me about his actions and supporting of such like crushing small nations.

Content plans for the first half of 2017
Sir Texas Sir replied to admin's topic in News Announcements & Important discussions
This is just the first half of the year plan, they will Optimize when they get closer to release. No use doing it now when your constantly changing things. -
Well first thing MORON (see put some salty in there) if you change ships your mods and repairs stay with your original ship. So if you had a marine mod on that ship it won't be on the new ship you took command of. We where laughing a bit when you found out you no longer had the marines when you switched ship to keep from sinking. There was something else we round out that battle we won't be saying a thing about. lol We have an issue in BLACK where some folks just flat out refuse to do shallow waters. These are the same guys that want to only be in 1st rates. I have said a few times if they want SOL play they should go play a National and not a pirate. I actually hate SOL for the most part, but they have there use in big SOL battles. As for shallow waters. Look at the map. The problem is that the US will defend Little Harbor to the end for the silver (they have two other silver regions) and the pirate refit so that one is pretty much out the window. In the Gulf there is one shallow with no regional bonus, but that is another silver port. There is shallows south of KPR for the Brits that has no regional bonus but I have no clue what is produce there. The South Cuba island by Spain (was pirate at reset) has no regional bonus either and could prob be fought over. That leaves us with two other Brit and 2 us regions in the Bahamas that can be fought over. US and Brits are the only ones that own them. The problem is if any one attacks any of these we will have to face 35+ H Rattlers swarming all over the place. This is why Pirates keep the Little Harbor flips to after reset to get the numbers down to something more even and even than US/Brits all ways out number us. People need to stop voting for this stupid care bear alliance so folks can fight over stuff. Maybe let some of the small nations get a foot hold. France lost a port last night so they are back down to two regions and none with a regional build bonus. Yah thanks Dutch/Brits lets keep crushing the little guys. So this morning I did a little counting. At this point the port/regional count per nation is such: Danish : 7 Regions Dutch: 11 Regions GB: 23 Regions France: 2 Regions Pirates: 5 Regions Spanish: 1 region Swedes: 5 regions US: 20 Regions Now the alliances: DFS: 14 DBU: 40 Pirates: 5 I was kinda surprised to find out GB had more than US, but I think most of the gulf is large regions with more than 3-4 ports so it just looks like they have more. I know brits lost a few recently so that means they still had more than the US did. They both can prob loose a region or 5 . Even if you put them down to 15 regions they will have more than every one else which makes since they are the two largest nations. The problem is no one wants to attack regions way over out of the sway or of no use. Looking at a map right now Copper/Gold/Silver is broken down like this. Danish: 1 Copper, 2 Gold, 2 Silver Dutch: 1 Copper, Gold, Silver GB: 4 Copper, no Gold, 1 Silver France: None Pirates: 1 Silver and Copper Spanish: None Swedes: 1 Copper US: 3 Copper, 2 Gold and 3 Silver Now take into account the alliances. DSF: 2 Copper, 2 Gold, 2 Silver BDU: 8 Copper, 3 Gold, 5 Silver Pirates: 1 Copper and Gold This shows you who has the most resources out of the two alliances and can afford to loose prob some of those regions to other nations. Now lets look at the woods. I'll only use the main three that are hard to get. Ceder, Live Oak and Mahogany Danish: Dutch: 1 Mahogany GB: 2 Mahogany, 1 Cedar France: Pirates: 1 Live Oak Spanish: Swedes: US: One Live Oak and Mahogany Now lets look at the alliances: DSF: BDU: 1 Cedar, 1 Live Oak, 4 Mahogany Pirates: Live Oak So when you loose one little region port stop your bitching DBU cause you have over twice the regions as the rest of the server and you have the majority of the resources too. Prob most of it is not even being used,. but as soon as you get attacked by one small nation you flip out and at like your loosing every thing. If you loose a port go do your econ some where else. How many of you are using regions no one visits? It's not like your poor Spanish who has nothing but there capital and no alliance at all. Though cool thing is I'm getting the DFS to try to vote them in and pick them up since none of the big nations will do it. The little guys have to help each other out.

National Outpost Enhancement
Sir Texas Sir replied to Jean Ribault's topic in Current Feature Improvement Suggestions
One simple thing would be and this would include pirates....is to just make the Capitals free out post so we don't have to put any of our 8 there. Many folks I know don't even keep the capital any more after they level up. Though if there was to do lost of capitals that should be final conquest of that nation as Devs mentioned. Though I think rookie capital should not be part of the conquest national stuff and be the only port no one can loose no matter what. Since they took most of the free ports out of the shallows I think they should make the rookie capitals delivery accepted like a free port for that nation. Than turn Shorud Cay into a new Pitts to be a regional Freetown/neutral that every one can use, but no one can capture. Can even leave it just like Pitt's where it was only Nationals and no pirates could use it, but I would prefer it would be all nations/factions neutral zone. -
I did this back in Oct/Nov. It is some times good to step way from a game. Most likely it will be here when you get back. I popped on in the eves and said hello to every one and did my econ and than went to do something else. If the game is stressing you out than it's not fun and it's more a job than a game. Step back and take a break even if it's just a week or a few days.

[PvP2 US] Political Situation's and Port Battles reports
Sir Texas Sir replied to Sir Texas Sir's topic in National news
We honestly thought we where screwed with that wind. We didn't check to see what it would be around that time when we flipped it. That mega fleet flipped it pretty fast. It ended up actually helping us as the battle progressed the wind actually got better for the late guys that showed up on our side. Hell the screening fleet did good, I was even pulled into before I could get in. Had to ditch my two renno's. Not a big thing cause one was a capped 1 dura and the other was a 1 dura of an old ship. Just hate to do that to my poor crew. -
[PvP2 US] Political Situation's and Port Battles reports
Sir Texas Sir replied to Sir Texas Sir's topic in National news
Willimgton 4th rate Deep water battle: 25 US/BRIT/DUTCH vs 21 Pirates The fight started out as 25 vs 13 cause the US alliance had a big screening fleets that was able to catch some guys out side the port battle. We got slow reinforcements through out the battle. I think some guys even had to join around the land and took a long time to get to the action. Pirates sent in a Fire-ship that was returned by two fire-ships from the US. Of course some big explosions happen. The main fight was a brawl in B with pirates pushing through to A. Mortar Brig on Pirates side rained down on the US fleets as they fought. There was a bunch of boarding on both sides and to be honest it was just a crazy fun mess. Pirates where not expecting to win it when we came in as we only had about 15 for sure numbers. Was an interesting port to attack and think the basic plan worked out in our favor by the end. Ships Sunk/Captured: 17 US/Brit/Dutch vs 7 Pirates. -

Crafting Overhaul
Sir Texas Sir replied to Christendom's topic in Current Feature Improvement Suggestions
I want an explorer (cough raider) ship. Something a bit bigger with more guns but not a dedicated hauler. The old whaler/explorer ships would be a good example of this. Drop some of the guns and add a bit more cargo space.- 10 replies

Crafting Overhaul
Sir Texas Sir replied to Christendom's topic in Current Feature Improvement Suggestions
I think part of the problem is they removed two free towns in the shallow that folks used to transport there goods. They should make all newbie capitals a free port to own for that nation and that you can transports goods too and from. Since they don't have a crafting bonus or other ports attached to them. If they do this than dump Shroud Cay as a free port and make it like the old Pitts. A neutral port that every one can use (even pirates). Kinda like a game central trading hub or something for the newbies.- 10 replies

Never noticed that name, but it's DN. They could be putting them up high like that to buy them off with an alt or something. Though all those ships are old crafted before regional so they shouldn't be that hig. l'Ocean for 500K would about cost of goods (not labor hours charged) . I just sold one for 3 mil that was a note ship from one of the ship chest. That is very reasonable for a 1st rate. Majority of the players are rich off the fine wood so folks jack all the prices up. I do sale a lot of ships on the side for cheap around Mort and Atwood. Keep getting to many notes of ships I can build better ones of so I sale them so some one that can't craft can get into better ships. The econ is truelly a mess on in the game and I can't wait for a wipe in the future to see how much folks freak when they actually got to work to get the goods they have like new players. I hear all the time folks say they don't care about this region or that cause thy have stacks and stacks of mats sitting not being used. That doesn't help the game one bit.

This game isn't based on american politics so we don't have to have things equal for every one. PvErs can get those same extra votes by showing up at the port battles to. All it's doing is rewarding the active players and not the guys that been around for every and throws there votes when they log on once a week with all there alts. This will give smaller active clans more power in a nation too. Oh don't get me wrong we need PvE and PvErs in the game, but they shouldn't not be the controlling factor of any faction. Specially when it's controlling the RvR of the game. And that is exactly why folks need to break that alliance cause they have gotten so cozy and they use others to do a good chunk of there fighting. Do they really need all of GoM? Hell do they even use it? France would prob love there TX/LA spot back and I have not seen any offer to help them. Notice the one nation that has no players talking in there and they have the largest population? I think the Brits are doing better cause of the fact they have so many of the smaller clans growing while the one large one is kinda fading into the back ground. I was kinda hoping to see that with the NPG/IGG split thing that some of the politics would change and things would get shaken up. US really needs a reality check about how bad they have it or not and the taking them to 11 ports was close they ever had it, but they got Brits to take the heat for them while they just reap the rewards and took ports back. Never once saw them truely help brit get a region back for them selves. Look at some of recent port battles. Even than only a few US players and those are some of the good PvPers are the ones that show up to help Brits and Dutch. You can remove Dutch/Brits for when they attack and defend and they still show up with close to 25 strong in both the mornings and eve slots. I'm going to bet you we will see prob over 40 tonight at the port battle. You can prob have all the dutch and Brits sit that fight out and they will still have plenty left over on the out side to fill a battle two times over. Which is why Dutch truelly didn't need to use Castries to pull us off that port battle. They can hold there own if they ever just get organized and stop the inner fueds. It's why many of us left US to become pirates or other nations.
-
I have made curse since than, actually very shortly after that screen shot and port battles was done, but the problem is these are the guys that throw the votes in there nations and control things. The PvErs seem to have the most say when they haven't little to no involvement in the RvR politics in game other than there votes. Which I think is wrong. PvPers should prob get an extra vote or do something like for each port battle you went to in the voting week you get an extra vote since your more involved in things every day. This will help a lot of nations that have newer clans that are wanting action compared to the old guys that don't want any actions. Be honest with me if you been on this game over 6 months and some what active you should be maxed out rank. PS this is the smack talking thread so I can throw some of it in there. I actually had some one call me a casual player the other night.....lol I have way over 3K hours in this game. I'm far from a casual player lol But you can't count the PvErs out when dealing with RvR stuff cause many of them while they don't go out hunting or doing any PvP on the open world other than running in there traders, still will show up at Port Battles. Specially if it's one of there econ ports. That and a lot of them have a habit of jumping on the war path bandwagon when there team is winning only. If there is one or more defeats they suddenly go into hiding. So you can't say well we only have 20 PvPers even though we have 200 players so we can't match your 20 pirates PvPers even though pirates might be only 40 players total (just throwing numbers out there that have nothing to do with actual). Cause when the shit hits the fan those 200 players will prob have that 20 double compared to say the pirates that might get an extra 25 the 40 double. I would prefer to see 15 vs 15 than say 15 vs 35 (screens and all) in PB with nations of more equal numbers fighting each other than having on side backed by a much larger nation.
