we tried multiple options back and forth (my hand hurts) but this one works best as it does not give unbalanced options. For example if some strong wood has a speed penalty - if a speed penalty on planking is smaller than on frame people will pick planking for the strong bonus and will choose another frame. We will see if this is a good way over time by buffing underused woods. There might be some changes in the future in stats BUT the relative balance from now on will remain the same. for example riga fir will always be faster than fir(s) (the difference maybe bigger or smaller) but relative balance will always remain. We will try hard to keep it the same no matter what. -

I like 3 months seasons. I think it will be good for the game. Some things cant be lost, some things get lost but give perk points or new ships. Something in the way of Path of Exile. But community wont accept it probably - so maybe in the next game

Thanks for the very thoughtful analysis. This short post will explain everything to you. Many wont understand but you will. Premise Previous cost balancing system was a huge idiocy. It was based on weights and historical prices and as a result - no balance no growth of cost with power. No choice - No decisions. 4rd rate weight 2000 victory weight 3500 - here we go. 2016 state was 4th rate 200000 reals, first rate 350000 reals. Totally stupid. Next step - lets make first rate 600k. Stupid again... Same with woods. Basic fir 4 reals, live oak just 40 reals.. What a joke. Deliberations Only now after researching progression systems thoroughly we came to proper conclusions. Because there is no death and no limitations of supply in game there is no real cost and the growth of cost with power should be exponential. If 1v1 the chance to win in a 4th rate (average) is 1 to 10 the cost should be no less than 10x AND MORE.. every additional % of power should cost 10x more. So the real difference between 4th rate and 1st rate should be 100x Solution If African oak is balanced nobody will want it. Seasoning of timber slightly this and better woods became drastically more expensive. New woods finish the plan. We are no longer looking for balanced outcomes in rare goods. If you got something rare - you are going to be damn sure you got something really good and very very expensive. Here is the new paradigm Now please understand why we had to have a staggered approach to stat changes System had to be unbalanced first so players get detached from old stats. Otherwise they would be upset more. So we needed 2 step change in stats New stats will suit new woods better, they are closer to reality in statis and janka hardness and crushing strength and dried weight AND have an exponential cost growth based on market rates AND they are VERY limited in supply, so they wont unbalance the game. So would be great to hear proposals after you heard the design direction. -

xsolla access will be given to standard edition buyers first. There will be an announcement on monday about it. -
WOW player count per shard is not different from NA ranging from 275 to 1400 peaks depending on the server. Total number is huge but you still see same 1000 people. Some time ago those numbers were reaching 4000-5000 per shard. (there are plenty of services like wow realm activity where this info can be derived). TESO has even less players per shard(server) and also split players by zones (overflows)

62% is good for me. It means 62 people out of 100 love the game. 51% is enough to elect a United states president (sometimes 49%). Evolving pvp games are polarizing and not all changes are loved. We dont ban for critique, we only ban jerks like rediii who decided he can dance on the Seeferkel's memorial. You are obviously not a jerk, just a person unhappy with recent changes.. ps. The dollars from the 38% are as good as legal tender as any other currency. So we love their opinion too - they paid for it . I call this a win win.

You. You (if you are a real leader) can do it. Unite people, train the fleets, practice one-shotting and focus fire, train maneuvers. And then you will start taking their ports. Its a sandbox. There are no design perspectives here. Strongest nations win. -

You can capture the port someone else have leveled up. Take it for free. Wait until they invest it fully and then capture it unexpectedly. You wont do it from first try, but people will rally for this cause. -

They are not liked now but they are good for an MMO. MMO with proper power and rarity and grind for veteran level crews, for rare officers, rare stronger guns etc etc. Its coming. due to issues on another project this hotfix with timber changes was unfortunately delayed. We plan to give it out asap (hopefully within 1-2 days (maybe on weekend or monday) the final updated table will be posted tomorrow. -

If they did fire at saladin - everybody makes mistakes. they should find him, apologize, recover his ship or pay a reparation and if saladin states all is clear, the issue will be resolved. -

Taking an alt to an enemy side is not allowed in the following cases It locks entry to another player (or unlocks the battle BR requirement) Alt actively interferes in the battle or does not help in the battle If you alt joined the battle on the enemy side - you can mitigate the issue by clearly announcing its false flag in battle chat, surrender it (you can pick up repairs) or try to escape it from battle. If reported for alt interference in battles and RVR if reported both you and your another account can get banned in game (as it is against steam EULA - interfering with normal accepted standard gameplay in games) Thats why battle join Karma system is needed urgently. Take an alt to an enemy side once - he is now your enemy and can never help you. -

Hello Captain If a battle is open the game allows them to enter and fight in the battle. You can ask people to leave but if they dont - its because the game allows them to stay. You can ask but cannot force them out. -

What you were doing with NOTO clan and why you did not want Saladin to fight NOTO clan? Explain please. Green on green in combat situations is not allowed and your warnings do not make up for it. If your explanations will be deemed unsatisfactory you and your group will be demoted in rank Captains are allowed to join battles and fight in them and you asking them to leave does not allow you to shoot them.
