The question is simple. Should this item be capturable or should belong only to the quest taker. if it is capturable then it can be given to friends - which means one friend can spend his time to deliver it for you, then from the games perspective it does not matter who delivers as long as he sails the required route (ps. reward and post weight is not final)

Group missions should be for the masses - they should be hard but doable by everyone after some practice. Current numbers of enemies turned them into a hard sweaty event requiring 150% concentration and precision in focus fire and damage control. Which basically must require MUCH better reward than 12 chests (6+6), or must require reduction in enemies.

i think they were updated (holds) to hold 3 sets of each repairs + guns. Can you please give us details on what is the problem with them?

yes. they wanted to do a 6th ship mission but due to bug only 4 got in. that's why we are switching them off today - to fix the entry and balance the enemies and enemy spawns. THANKS for the feedback on group missions - we are listening)))

Hot fix 30.1 is being deployed today Group missions were temporarily removed for final fixing the entry bug and rebalance. Enemies and the rewards will be balanced when they come back. Ship access changes Wasa is now crafteable (with permit) Christian is now crafteable (with permit) Rattlesnake is now crafteable (with permit) All ship notes were temporarily removed from the admiralty for further balancing Best ships in every class will now require permits to craft them Some permits can be acquired in the admiralty for Combat Medals All permits will be attainable from Captain or Gold chests for free Reason for this change is simple: the only way to make certain ships rare is to get them attainable only through certain activities important to the game. Group mission was completed yesterday live with just 4 ships (one sank unfortunately) We maintain that they should be hard, but of agree maybe not that hard as it is now. the mission entry should be made working first and rewards and complexity is still considered untuned properly - we will do it this week.

We found this to be not true. The damaged sail retains a good amount of driving power even if teared completely. (in game this parameter is set at 30%) Not only that. Rig itself with NO SAILS and/or hull with no rig has a lot of driving power and leeway power that it alone can move the ship to the side in very strong wind (but without direction of course). -
you dont fight player AI fleets in missions - i do not see how it is relevant to missions and ow ai.

people will try to do those missions due to significant changes to ship distribution tomorrow during the wipe. And with practice will learn to do them and later shine in pvp because of all that focus fire training (that is important in pvp fights).

group missions are hard raids (but they are doable) we monitor success rates in data and will update the rewards and or mission complexity going forward.

no screens no problem we doubt stern guns cause a lot of trouble and are relevant in your example. + you can take up to 3 charges to every gun if you want to (using mods). + AI does not use knowledge books + AI only use 2-3 basic reload/hp or pen mods depending on rank the only concern is smart turning. and i am sure you know how to handle it, by using chain and demasting.

it has not been proven and knowing that AI does not repair and cannot use rare upgrades this is just urban legend. If AI cheated the death rate of players to bots would be much higher (currently it is in the minuscule level of 800 ai deaths to for every player sinking to AI) And ai does not cheat much. The only thing ai does better than average player is turn (use yard in best precise position at all times to maximize turn rate) this will be addressed (was already addressed on lower level bots) and unlimited chain (but ai does not use it in combat against combat ships)

Of course it is going to be an impossible mission if you use tactics described in your post What you should do is focus fire and first gang up on the first rate, then on the second one, then finish the 3rd rates one by one.

Group missions are hard raids, that do not require long travels (unlike hunt or S&D missions)

pve server will get the opportunity to convert doubloons to combat medals once price stabilize - soon - we know that you can't get them and will fix it.
