Lootable chests contents rebalanced and slightly improved. PVP chests are now the fastest way to acquire books and combo book parts. Solo patrol radius decreased Fixed the bug that occasionally blocked entry to patrol battles (especially in shallow low BR patrol battles)
  2. the system should allow you to get the guns when players did not supply them. The optimal way would be to just raise the NPC prices allowing players to provide them at lower price - not completely remove them.
  3. The current game exceeds all expectations laid during the steam greenlight and it was only possible due to hard work and tremendous support by this community. Comparisons with large teams will not move things faster. We have a great game providing hours of entertainment already and we can only make it better, step by step. But these steps wont ever compare to 300 people teams.

  6. I think you are listening to the wrong people. Who do not want you to sail a first rate. Insane? Please calculate the resource cost of the 1st rate oak/oak Victory. Only then comment on the cost. Oak oak is not wanted by many - but they are making a mistake some nations did in ww2. To cap ports you need numbers - not quality. After you get numbers you get quality. Tiger tank was better and more expensive. But 1 tiger did not matter against 50 shermans or t-34s. Think about it. Oak oak victory is still better than any other lower level ship +++. 50 oak oak victories is better than 5 live oak ones. 5 live oak victories do not have a single chance against 25 ships + 25 screen. Oak oak 1st rate is incredibly cheap. Its all in the game
  7. the income per hour matters, not 11 hours per day. There are trade routes giving such options. But if you wish to take a long multiday route you can make really good money providing you with income for 5-6 first rates or hundreds of frigates at cost.
  8. there are better routes. much better. + Oak oak first rate cost is less than 200k (WITH GUNS) and needs to go higher probably. + really - please do not push clicker heroes vision here. If you think a first rate should be earned by anyone by just investing 2-3 hours of play - this is not the game you are looking for. We let go that idea and not coming back. The first rate was a wonder of technology of that time. It had more guns than the whole army of wellington. Stop this "first rate in 2 hours" thing
  9. we are going to do some changes for the delivery missions that will allow everyone to support pvp with 1-2 delivery missions per day (taking 15-20 mins max) if they are losing too much.

  11. Naval action is not a AAA game. It's an SSS game. You Sail, Struggle and Sink. It does not matter which server you re playing - you are a hardcore player. Which makes everyone Sharks, which makes you a shark, or maybe a killer whale if you like black and white ships. You can do it and get those ships, its not hard.

  13. the other night or yesterday? Combat medals are now given for every pvp kill and assist (they are distributed between players who damaged the ship) for example if 10 players damaged the target 10% and the target price is 10 medals - everyone will get 1 medal.

  15. Don.. Do you have any more info on this (screens or verbal descriptions) Because seems like this is not a bug.. You can attack any ship in a solo patrol area if it is the same class as yours. 6th rates get bonus medals for it. But all ships can have solo duels in the solo patrol area.

And it dropped to 0 1.5 months later so you favorite SideStrafe had to fight bots in his last NA video from sea trials (Cringing video really) Open world has the keeping power. Legends and moba does not. We tried twice Reason is simple there is no slow combat PVP sandboxes with no cheaters, but there are tons of mobas. Have you turned into a hater suddenly? We prefer if you do not try to spread false information (It’s a sin to lee on the diel)
  18. indeed open world was voted as the main expected feature in 2014, by may 2015 people were sailing the open world without ports and insta teleports that got used to so quickly
  19. You can just search age of sail in google and i think his video comes up sometimes. Its funny that SStrafe wanted open world so much but later realised that that dream should have stayed unfulfilled.
  20. yep already started to work on this. Its an old oversight. It is really really an oversight that currently is taking longer to level building second rates now (if you take into account LH)

  22. это все Стим мы не контролируем раздачу игры оттуда - что-то там идет не так - возможно надо просто перезайти в стим и или подождать как рассосется их трафик да возможность выбрать тоже.
  23. thanks for the thoughtful post. indeed the level thresholds for crafting and xp for ships should be adjusted to motivate the player to build useful ships. we will do it soon.
