i think we promised better camera controls before.. we will start working on those probably during the early access on steam. We can provide the tool to position cameras as captain desire. shortcuts of course will be implemented.. but the guy who can make the cameras is busy with fires and explosions we still hold this position - that on deck view provides the best immersion. but during tests people were crying for increased camera heights. Anyways it is still a sea trial and even in early access we would be wiling to experiment with this. but first we will fix other things that are lacking -
upgraded and improved settings for graphics and controls set up will come in the future - we promise.

с камерами пока работы не ведутся обзор можно менять от погодных условий время суток играть роль будет как на текущей карте туман - противника хуже видно - умельцы найдут способ видеть дальше. но все равно воевать будет сложнее -
Of course they try. But for example if your email blocks our messages the they could respond but you won't get it. Gmail works ok I think

I am a backer . Love space games x3 eve, freelancer. Lowest tier, and wish them luck. I started getting worried when they announced FPS. Being a developer and having a former technical director from DICE on my team we know that to make a good shooter you need experience and 300 mln dollars. In all other cases they will deliver firefall or defiance or worse. (Colonial marines was outsourced). Another concern is timing. The longer they develop it the higher expectations are. The higher expectations are the more money they get. The more money they get the more features they promise the higher expectations are. And the circle continues. It is beneficial for them to delay for as long as possible because showing game stops the inflow. Promising features is easier and faster than making them. Also when promising they are selling you a perfect feature (as you imagine it in your head just like you wanted it and get an endorphin release). And you bring more cash thinking it will speed up the development. The whole industry wishes them luck, but everyone is worried because if they fail crowdfunding is dead.

never trust developers. Any developers. Maybe gabe is ok.you were misled by clever marketing messaging of other developers. Star citizen is heavily instanced. They hide it behind cruise between systems. Watch their landing video again. Current tech allows you to hide loading of new zone by multiple ways. In space you can do it by hyperdrive visuals. When landing on a planet you hide it during passing through atmosphere. In fact all mmos are instanced to a certain extent. In a sailing game sea is flat you can't hide it by hyperdrive or gates or atmospheric burning. You have to show it as it is! + water tech. Thus we must have seamless open world map. In ED you can see 32 player max, in SC we doubt you can see more. Star citizen instance vertically (onion) eve instances horizontally (sausage). Our tech is different as we have a seamless huge map (that is truly huge) with water with weather with waves towns npc.s and players sailing and it is not instanced. only thing we instance is combat. Because it is too complex to be handled by one world, because unlike eve we are not a clicker. Next thing is unacceptable These are all lies - you made It upWhy are you making this up? And why are you misleading fellow captains ? Also you claim I said so.. I wonder where. Next time think twice before posting misleading information on my behalf and presenting it as fact.

глубины будут - будут мелководья где смогут гонять только мелкие корабли мели будут до земли не доехать - глубина не даст карибские краски вопрос вкуса города не будут прорисованы вообще - с тортуги это промо арт а не скрин вход в город как в КО компас посмотрим.. 1. как нибудь придумаем 2. подкрепление решаем.. возможно будет зависеть от скила капитана или адмирала (типа боевая навигация) 3. третья сторона если найдем обоснование почему.. если испания в альянсе с францией то испания и франция это одна сторона а не две. -

Pictures will others to understand what you are talking better (including us). Sails luffing of flutter will not be implemented in the foreseeable future. Weather, fires and explosions and somewhat improved smoke first - then we will see if we have FPS reserves left. -

We had a win battle requirement during the first week of sea trials in November. We took it out for 2 reasons 1) stat padding - people were having arranged matches 2) age of sail motivation - we have found a lot of references from the Age of Sail where admiralties of countries rewarded captains for bravery and conduct - not for winning. There were many cases when british of french captains were losing battles and still received promotions, recognition and new ships because they fought as lions. That is why we introduced pure damage as the only reward.. But of course in the future winning could be more important on the meta level (you will sink enemy fleet that the opponent will have to rebuild).
