it would work wonders yes. but in a single player game with no instances. in NA some player can just keep this convoy in battle while everyone else is waiting outside also once battle closes you cannot help etc etc.

Changes to support the forthcoming tournament will be rolled out next content patch (eta next week) http://forum.game-labs.net/index.php?/topic/15474-tournament-sign-up/ this means the tournament can be delayed if you want to fight in the proper conditions Changes Battle size min 6 ships max 8 ships (to provide for the observers or judges) Group size 3 ships (not less not more) - groups of bigger or smaller size will not get into the balancer Event will be balanced by groups and will send observers to both sides or one of the sides Event will not be balanced by nations (so same nation teams can fight each other) Sides will spawn with equal wind (from stern) 2km from eachother Battle timer lowered to 2-3 mins to allow fast exit from the event in case mistakes were made (or someone else got in) Battle circle of death will remain to avoid trolling by forcing a draw 2 groups of 3 entering clicking the small battle event will start a count down immediately. In case you went in with a wrong group you can exit in 4 mins and restart again.. Coordination must be required from the organizers. Victory conditions must be discussed - because in some cases one side can try to enforce the draw until Battle circle kills some of the players. For example something like this.. if by the end of the 1.5 hours some ships are still alive victory is granted to the side with more kills. Ideally 2 more things must happen all sides agree to fight to the death and trolling (if captured on video) should cause disqualification. event should be recorded by at least 1 participant (can be without sound to not disclose tactics shared in voice for future battles) has the team draw been done? and how and by whom it was done?

парусность? Что такое парусность вообще по вашему мнению? и как она связана со скоростью? вот у этого корабля парусов в 20 раз меньше виктори идет в 4 раза быстрее где же ваша парусность? Если вы не эксперт то нам это не мешает - НО не надо путать других игроков И что значит искусственно завышена занижена - скорости в игре исторические - каждый корабль имеет скорость которую он теоретически мог достичь в жизни (по нашему мнению). То что у вас другое мнение это ваше личное субьективное восприятие поясним Скорость зависит от многих факторов включая форму корпуса, водоизмещение и многие другие и даже длинну волны. В некоторых случаях идти на полных парусах может получатся медленнее например если изза неправильно расположенного балласта корабль зарывается носом в воду что за высказывание? премод 7 дней за флуд в теме вопросов разработчиков

We are removing pirates attacking pirates or nations attacking nations in the next patch We know some players will be upset - but this is going to be a good change going forward. Especially taking into account potential outlaws introduction in the future. Alliances and one nation status (even for pirates) have to be enforced. Nations and pirates will still be able to attack smugglers freely- 28 replies

we are tuning shipwrecks to drop less but have less sailing distance basically if you get one you should get it within a reasonable time. -

war and peace changes are delivered in 3 stages Alliances first Conquest/Hostilities/Port battles second Then potential national rebalance and pirate role. -
did i understand the reported bug correctly? Bug If you enter into battle with 50 people you will exit with 50 people even if you got 1000 more through the press gang perk. Right?

No Please dont take bugs for features and vice versa. Initial bottle distribution was a bug New bottle distribution was a partial fix of a bug final bottle distribution is how it was supposed to be in the first place But now you mind is anchored to a first bug and because you liked it more you like it more. -
башни мы отключили - такая была задумка /недоделанная/ уже скоро башни вообще участвовать в условиях победы не будут (будет ближе к батлфилду - где есть зона захвата а огневые точки можно оставлять неуничтоженными) - либо будет 2 типа фортов - в зонах захвата и свободные форты таймер сбрасывается изза пинга - глубоко причину проблемы не искали пираты под вопросом изначальная идея была = пираты это стиль жизни а национальность любая идеи обьявим позже

pvp rewards were increase last hot fix in addition to that new perk doctor will significantly reduce crew costs if you stay alive in battle recovering part of the casualties. -

because people want resolution - action must bring results based on their actions (not on somebody else's actions) If the battle lasts for several days not everyone has 48 hours to be online. If i fought well and won the port battle then someone should not be able to lose my result. -

agree battle royale will work if there are no teaming but if only one nation can win alliances will still break by the end? for example starting nations = 7 5 nations form a block and batter 2 to submission then if there could only be 1 victor those 5 nations will still have to break the alliances and start fighting each other? -

Historical choices affect the development. I love swedish, us, danish flags too much to drop them (creating a traditional Spain, France, GB nations). Most nations will become parts of the alliances - those who don't could be forced to so to speak "join or die. Or putting it differently in the game of thrones you win or you die . We think there will be 2-3 alliances with heated relationships. Full conquest is just an idea for discussion. In fact full conquest might not be needed at all. because with the new alliances you will be able to use other nations capitals, so safe status for your capital becomes less important. Alliances will actually provide a lot more freedom of movement and crafting than it is now. And they will force people to fight more and move to enemy waters more - because allied NPC ships will become friendly ships. Thinking it through further - large alliances will actually promote more pvp for smaller nations(alliances) because large blocks will most likely have no PVE targets in safe waters at all (all allied ai is non-attackeable). They will be forced to sail to that smaller alliance waters providing non-stop pvp opportunities.- 243 replies

Step 1 Basic alliances that are coming this august we would like to share the plans and ideas for new improved RvR. Step 2 Changes to port battles are briefly described in this post http://forum.game-labs.net/index.php?/topic/14816-update-on-the-port-battle-set-up Ports Ports will change: Map will split into regions with regional capitals. Nations will conquer regions (not individual ports) This will also help a lot in hostility generation and will open road for significant trading/supply/demand improvements, with proper regional goods distribution. Last draft of the counties/regions design link to file http://imgur.com/wSjKF1G Potential proposals for discussions. Capitals could become capturable. If nation have lost all the ports the last county (with capital) will open for capture. Losing the capital will force an alliance with the conquering nation. Total victory should become possible (with the map reset afterwards) If capitals become capturable this can lead to clear win conditions and map resets (seasons) with rewards for map victory. Current design is more real life with flowing changes of power (like in Eve), but maybe Battle Royale design is better. Freetowns Some free towns will be repositioned (to be on the borders of regions) Mission changes Missions will always be generated to the nearest enemy region to promote pve players meeting each other in action (Irrelevant for the pve server).

Yes - thats why the landlord votes (based on port captures and war effort points) is not yet dropped. But remember that everything except port captures can be farmed. Thus: Initially alliances will be for testing purposes - votes will be granted for everyone - and they will be constantly reset during bug fixing and tuning. -

The purpose of politics is to give players tools to enforce what they agreed on on forums/chats/voicecomms If zerg blocks emerge and will be enforced by game systems = it is a good thing. Weaker counties will join one of the blocks: The republic of Palau joined the coalition against Iraq. -
deleted characters are deleted forever. you xp and crating level is still safe we understand that it is a horrible event we are deliberating on the decision if it is possible at all.

alliance lasts longer than 1 week that means you sign one alliance in week one and another one in week two so by end of week 2 you will have two alliances
