  4. This post is based on rumors and lies spread by haters. There are no major or minor community suggestion that have not been tried over the last 2 years. For example - open world itself IS A COMMUNITY SUGGESTION we never planned to do it and did it because players requested it. Thus you should respond to players who spread such rumors and show them the light. If you don't do this we will only see negative comments on the forums (especially steam forums) and will think that listening to you does not matter - even if integrate crafting, trading, alliances, and 1000s of minor features like ability to move camera when aiming with ALT (all these features were proposed by players), it seems posts like this will come up. This is all in your hands.
  5. Yes. But incoming is a strong word. We were launching 1 game a year in over last 4 years. We plan to launch one more in 2017 and of course to ship something new in 2019 we have to start making it some day this year.

  8. Hello Captains We are looking for captains interested in discussing battleships of 1880 to 1939 with us: discussing in general and in great (intricate) detail. Ideally you must know a lot about battleship combat and battleship design. Rangefinders, torpedoes, pre-heaters, fire directors, cross-deck fire, cemented krupp armor, luddite charges, screening formation types, admiral names, Vickers steel bar prices, officer names maybe. You may even never remember why you know all this things. You never thought this knowledge would be useful - but here is the thing - it will be extremely useful to us. Lets talk.   13. this is a safer and simpler way bots chase you so you can sail away from spawn points in any direction and be on exit timer when battles closes just in case someone enters.
  14. this is the plan but - what we are worried about is that the pvp hotspot will only give profits for privateers and organized large pvp groups (like those who are delivering 200,000 fittings to free towns in one trip).

    There is no safe exit from the OW. There could be 10 reasons how the ship can disappear. For example when mission closes swords disappear. But you can enter the mission from some good distance - so you could not see the swords but he saw them and entered the mission - it closed and swords disappeared (because mission was closed) once you sailed to it you could get an impression that he disappeared at full sails. If safe exit hack exists this info would spread fast and get reported to us. Many people start doing that, then it starts getting on video. Please report such cases immediately after it happened with location and time (tag exploit is in the bug reporter).

  19. First of all thank you all - you don't stop to amaze us with your dedication and support. We said long time ago we won't let you down and we won't. Promises will be fulfilled. Thank you for being critics and supporters. It helps us learn to make better games. One thing what we want you to understand is this. Games are art/games are entertainment. Humans can get bored and humans can't read one book every day or watch the same movie every day. It is possible for some amazing entertainment product to deliver content every day but its very hard for indie teams to keep that pace. People move on to new entertainment and come back when you created something new and exciting. So try to be very honest about everything here. Our current plan is to move to unity 5 (to add new ships) this is almost done. Then we will fix UI and add localization that will bring a lot of new players. Current planned fixes will delay player loss on mid levels On release we will get more visibility and new players will join the fray as well. NA Legends will probably launch to open beta (as a free game) and some players from there will also go try open world. But here is the thing. They will move on again. Online will go down again. In entertainment industry the success is determined by highest chart position not on lowest. So eventually everyone will leave to new games (ours included). And its ok. For us the key is to learn and use this learning to make better games going forward. Very rarely games are perfect from the first attempt. Even Battlegrounds (many of you probably tried it) is actually a 4th iteration of the idea. (first dayz mod, then arma mod, then H1Z1 KOK, only then PUBG (which is done by developers of TERA with years and years of mmo experience). its a journey.

  21. With all variety of choices we will pick the simplest solution solving the problem. You will just set your friendly clans who can enter your portbattles. National unity will remain intact, clans will still fight for the nation.

  23. We never said that. This game was N1 top seller on steam for 2 weeks, we sold 130k copies, it is still in the top 200 top played games on Steam today, online is higher than lot of game done by teams with 1000x more budget. Its a super successful project - players just moved on and you want them back. And because players moved on the experience deteriorates for average players who become the target all the time (due to lack of targets).
