The next time you crash, hit "Play" on Steam, then select "Report Crash" and hit the send button before doing anything else. This will send important data to the Devs that will help them to figure out what's wrong. Thanks!

There's a post here by Brigand: http://forum.game-labs.net/index.php?/topic/3750-list-of-ships-and-other-vessels-in-the-game/ It needs to be updated to reflect some new additions, but that's the correct thread. I'm going to lock this one as a duplicate. Thanks!

No worries! Sometimes the search isn't as intuitive as it could be. Locking this thread as a duplicate.

I had always wondered at the three columns of casualty figures. I like that idea, and hope it's the case. -
If you or your enemy are traveling over, 5 kts I think it is, you won't get a boarding prompt. Once you both slow down a bit, it should pop right up. If you're sure you were going slowly enough, please F11 and fill out the form while it's happening so the developers can review.

Downtime
Henry d'Esterre Darby replied to Brandonchat's topic in Patch Feedback and General discussions
In what time zone? We have players around the globe, it's quite hard to find a downtime that doesn't impact someone, somewhere. -
whatever moderator deleted my post

You are directly addressing a moderator's actions. You are asking why a post was moderated, that is against the rules. If you have specific concerns about a moderator or moderation activities, you may Report that Moderator's Post, PM that moderator directly, PM a moderator that is not involved, or PM Admin. Those are your only choices. I'm locking this thread as Off Topic for this forum, which is not for this purpose, and a violation of the forum rules. If you'd like to "officially accuse a moderator" of anything, please do so via PM to Admin. Further discussion in public forums along these lines will not be tolerated. I have cleaned up the referenced thread. -
Suggestion: Player Owned Ports
Henry d'Esterre Darby replied to Sir Madoc's topic in Current Feature Improvement Suggestions
I have less time than that, and I've had no problem parking myself in a spot with a good amount of action and enjoying myself without the use of teleport. At some point, we're going to have to admit that we can not make the entire game accessible to those with almost no gaming time. In my opinion, being friendly to those with limited time is good, but the idea that you have to make 100% of the game content available to someone with less than an hour a night to play is going to result in a shallow game that will not have any long-term viability. -
Suggestion: Player Owned Ports
Henry d'Esterre Darby replied to Sir Madoc's topic in Current Feature Improvement Suggestions
Teleport as it's currently implemented, is a temporary mechanic to handle ships that get stuck in shallow harbors. It's going away. -
Subforum for each Nation?
Henry d'Esterre Darby replied to Balsafer's topic in Forum and website problems and improvements
We already have a recruitment forum, the goal is not to clutter that up with a bunch of Clans screaming insults back and forth at each other. -
NA business model?

There is an entire thread to discuss this at the following link, please use that thread to discuss this topic: http://forum.game-labs.net/index.php?/topic/4757-on-premium-ships-and-pay-to-win Please read through it before responding. -

Open World for rest of players

Some folks just aren't into PvP. That's ok, it's a perfectly valid need, and Game Labs is planning to answer that need with a PvE only server at or after release. Everyone wins. -
Why can testers be so negative
Henry d'Esterre Darby replied to Tryite's topic in Tribunal - Трибунал
The Moderation Staff attempts to apply the rules equally to everyone, regardless of who they are. Discussion of moderation actions on the forums is not permitted to avoid unnecessary flame wars, etc. Mods can not see every post on every thread instantly, so if there is a situation where you feel someone is being rude, please use the "Report" button at the bottom of the post and we'll get alerted that there may be a problem. In the mean time, if you feel there has been unfair treatment, please message an uninvolved moderator or Admin and explain why you think something isn't right. I'm going to lock this thread as a violation of the forum rules and since it is off topic for this forum. If you have any particular instances of your accusations you'd like to point out, please do so by using the "Report" link on the offending post. Thank you. -
Open World for rest of players

There are quite a few extremely casual players providing input. Thank you for your interest, you'll have plenty of opportunity to contribute once the new servers are in. -
The game is not currently ported to Linux (I don't know if there are even plans to do so), so probably not. If you're going to get a Steam Machine, you must ask yourself the following questions: 1. Is the game that I want to play on Steam? Will there ever be a computer game I want to play that is not on Steam? 2. Is the game that I want to play ported to Linux? If it's not, Steam Machine (for now) can't run it. Personally, I don't feel a huge urge to lock myself into a particular gaming platform and a non-Windows OS.

One of my first actions in the game was to try and defend a friendly British AI trader brig against a couple of French who were attacking her. Unfortunately, they drove me off, and the AI wasn't smart enough to use the time I bought it to run.

open world map fore all
Henry d'Esterre Darby replied to talbot martin's topic in Patch Feedback and General discussions
The Developers have set a timeline of one to three weeks. Opening it up requires new servers to be installed and tested, and the results of that setup and test will dictate the exact timeline. There have been a few threads discussing this already, so I'm going to close down this one. The announcement is here: http://forum.game-labs.net/index.php?/topic/5487-open-world-for-rest-of-players -
In that case, it was quite unpleasant for you, I'm sure, but currently within what is allowed by the game. It's always important to watch your battle carefully for newcomers. I've had to cut and run when enemy players entered my AI battle.

If you follow step number one in the quote, yes, it will submit the crash log to the developers for review, so long as you haven't played the game since the crash. If you crash, log back in to play, and then log out and try to submit the crash report, it will be empty. Dropping to a lower graphic setting is more of a troubleshooting measure. Does this only happen in PvE Light? Does it happen in other game modes?

NA business model?
Henry d'Esterre Darby replied to Marlinspike's topic in Patch Feedback and General discussions
Correct. The main business model that Admin has said they expect to implement is a buy once, play forever, with Guild Wars 2 style premium content for purchase. At the moment, they've announced "Premium" ships which will not have durabilities (but will still require in game funds to repair after a battle), but I don't recall if they've announced other premium content. -
The short answer is that that isn't possible - ce n'est pas possible. Are you absolutely sure it was an English ship and not Sverige?
