Fog and storm is not such a normal occurrence in battles. Fog of war is a normal occurrence in many many games. I respect your opinion, just not for the reasons you present - aka. complaints.

I am developing my crafted Cutter, that's a 7th rate. Been working on a Brig and Navy Brig. That's 6th rates. ( not really doing missions, but you get the point ) Do i NEED to sail big ships just because I am a "admiral" ?

Prince and player combo is more than a match for a equivalent xebec and player combo. At the worst it will be a draw as both can disengage.

Nope. First battle Xebec and Prince versus Herc and Buc. ( o7 DNP ) Second battle versus 1 Buc anchored at Navasse, we had a lot ( 1 herm, 2 hercs, 1 wapen, 1 agg, 1 xebec ). Lost 3 Xebecs in the last 48 hours... 😣 - couldn't push a Bucentaure ( was testing force push ) and was eventually vaporized in 1 broadside. Add that I was dismasted right at the start of the battle by the same Buc. - was shot to pieces by another Bucentaure and Hercules - also sunk my own xebec by mistake while switching ships ( such a muppet i am... )

Without minimap the true chaotic nature of battles in the age of sail would be fairly appropriate Fog banks would be great.

There's a ship for everyone. Some like Victory, others Lynx, others Trincomalee... etc. We all care for the game.

OW is made of fleet, squadron and singular fights. We can find all types of rigs involved in actions in the west indies. Fun part of the game is that we CAN and WILL reenact history as much as reinterpret.

Repulse was a Xebec as well and defended Philadelphia. Was burnt, not to fall into English hands, after the fall of Forts Mifflin and Mercer. Spanish had a tradition on lateens, same as french. I suspect ship builders were free to travel to a location and then use their knowledge there to build whatever models were ordered ? From barques longues to whatever sizes the deep ports allow. BTW how many SOL capable naval bases harbours were in the Caribbean ? How many Shipyard really capable of building frigates and bigger.. ? We going into a interesting avenue here...

It does matter a lot. I wish we could have two mast xebecs as well in the future. Even the Continental Navy ones as a DLC pack. That would be awesome.

Please test and specify the something. Else is just " empty hold space". What many testers did was - test the ship - damages, speeds, combos, etc - thickness, hp, masts, rigging, crew. Others tested the speeds and the refits effects. All properly reported. Get what I mean ? Test and report properly what is not correct.
