  1. Something like the Ultimate General CW selection screen aye.
  2. Plus they won't get a new ship back, just to make it clear from reading everything carefully again posted ... damn reading all again ... They get the insurance value in cash/resources, not a brand NEW ship. They have to build a new one or ask their favourite crafter. I hope i'm not wrong on this...
  3. Question: - do the player has to pay the insurance ? Scenario: - player A crafts ship. Is it already insured or needs to "tick" the insurance option and pay it ? Scenario 2: - player B captures player A ship, takes it to port. Does insurance of player A ship benefit player B now every time he sails said ship or must he pay insurance
  4. some people just want to shoot guns and see the smoke but if ship gets captured and delivered to admiralty the insurance doesn't cover.
  5. I think they are saved auto between sessions. Make your arrangement, logout and back in. What happens ?
  6. Casual vs Hardcore... weeee.... casual time spending... or hardcore time spending... ? Casual approach to PvP or hardcore PvP'er ? Casual interest for the age of sail or hardcore age of sail grognard ? casual arcader ? or hardcore arcader ? hardcore sim and casual sim ? I never know what casual and hardcore means for you guys
  7. Thank you. A link to the clarification posted previously would be invaluable.
  8. There's no mechanic in the world in any game that can "fight" a player knowing how to play the game. ( do not read "gaming the game" ) It could be all Grey 0/5 ships for all. It would make no difference. The player that learned to "master" the ship, wind, gunnery, etc will ALWAYS have a upper hand against a guy that just arrived. Will be true in checkers and in NA.
  9. Jezzebus... i must have no opinion ... right oh... sorry man
  10. Yes. Because you did conquer it, you decided to conquer it, you wanted to conquer it, the cost was of no concern when you made that decision. Let's return to Insurance. Thank m8.
  11. That's a port Conquest TIMER rule. So the clan/friendly clans decide if they don't ming to play all the time in - multiple round earth timezones - game or just a 2 hours per day conquest game. Nothing to do with money sink directly. It is a indirect mechanic for "making the clan accountable for their choice".
  12. That's a player choice As a corsair I know exactly what I will be doing.
  13. I don't want my name to be recorded. Master Forger assures that Also I am not negative about game development, but i can't possibly agree with everything suggested and ESPECIALLY this one. We discuss why some agree, why some do not agree. I expect a good discussion. Apparently you just want a tap in the shoulder.
  14. I leave it the Devs but see nothing out of the ordinary. The Santissima commander could've dealt a crippling blow to the Hercules. There's no doubt of whom wins the long range gunnery exchange.
  15. Borch, missions will be different IIRC from the devs posts of a while ago.
  16. Was stated by devs before PvE server is to stay even after release.
  17. Well, you want salt or admiralty payment ?... If you destroy it you cannot submit it to the admiralty, right ?
  18. Another question: - is the insured item immediately returned or does it have a 24 hours ( or other ) cooldown to return ? ( Prapor ! )
  19. DLC also gives the opportunity for players to move away from constant "e-teen toxicity" and be totally anonymous, clean slate, so they don't get pestered again.
  20. What if the ship is captured and not sunk ? Does the insurance applies ? ( thinking EFT here, the insured items only get returned IF they are not "captured" by a enemy and are considered lost or, in NA case, "sunk" ) Thank you.
  21. Sounds like a reasonable proposal. And I miss some good RP.
  22. Liberals and Absolutists. Sounds reasonable if they are in opposite sides of the battle. I even posted both flags in this same thread.
  23. Nope. Master Forger does not meddle with mere letters of mart or marque. He also issues perfect and most legal "death" certificates. For example, the Red Duke has been found guilty in trial for acts of pyracy and hanged at the entrance of Kingston for the other "savage" corsairs to take notice. The Master Forger worked so convincingly that his 13 port-wives and the known offspring were well informed of his depart from this world. The change was complete and without a flaw. The ships were registered under a new flag, a new owner, new harbor masters. Titles of nobility were arranged and etc etc etc...The old character ceased to exist... ... a new one was born. In truth, the red duke never got hanged ( escaped by roping two hogs and making a chariot out of a cabbage wagon... but that's another story al'together... )
