  1. Despite the fast subtitles sometimes it was hillarious. I am always expecting what is coming after the WTF moment
  2. Playing "on the deck" all the time, especially during battle I heartily approve of camera work. I like to look awesome.
  3. Been using it for many years. Never had any issue with it. I like the enhanced security as it provides me and my family no problems with having our digital collection safe. Also it would be a pain to store all of the games in house. Just too many "junk".
  4. It is all about risk management and covering losses. Losing a haul now and then doesn't make any trader or crafter any poorer and that is an important detail to retain.
  5. You find enough ships and one of the tricks is to play, explore and having joy in discovery, keeping notes of areas, routes, and so on. Even the remote areas, which players think empty... they are not empty at all I'd risk to say it is similar to RL. One might do a crossing seeing two dozen of sails or might do it without sighting a single one.
  6. True that. But in the meanwhile, because all numbers got focused in one group, other raiding squadrons roam free. Application of resources, bringing the numbers or quality to match.
  7. If anything, La Tortue. Longest standing sea rover port.
  8. It is a player choice to be or not to be dragged into any politics quagmire or any drama and all is based on the playstyle chosen. Stop dividing the Naval Action nation please. We should strive to unify.
  9. Great news ! And indeed something that, in part, should be part of any new ( and not so new ) player self imposed missions to do.
  10. My first Officer was Isabella. I rerolled the replacement until I got Denise. For a sea rover ship with "her" own rules aboard I like to have that option. btw, Flora and Rachel might not be real at all
  11. It's a hobby. Stop getting serious. Whenever I hear voices on TS all I see is this great fun party. As shown... Be gallant as a Muppet, always.

  12. While I can see the usefulness of an arena style that is NOT the reason why I bought the game and I am sure the majority will profess the same. Actually it was exactly the absence of it that made me do it. The promise of open world, sand box But a Sea Trials little niche could benefit down the road.
  13. Why not. Remove rewards accordingly. Make it a "team duel" room.
  14. Nothing in the mechanics stops any clan from doing that. It is already done with large territory nations, with clans basing themselves in different areas. Conquest is Nation based not clan based.
  15. You, the bots and me makes three A face-off near Savannah versus US navy coastal patrol fleet. A great battle in which I was rather worried. Salute to the good captain. Let's go nuts Daring is part of being a raider and this one is in face of greater than the longest odds. Great fun ( sorry for any overboard taunts ) GeeGee ThreeOhThree Jumped back into my "love" brig in support of Monkey's cruiser. Since it was available back in ST I didn't touch the Snow ever gain. Also the title says it all. GG 303. There's more than one way to win a losing battle
  16. Let's establish one thing. No more talking about population. We do not have the numbers, devs do. Are you a Dev ? No. Neither am I. Back to the discussion at hand - why 2 minutes work and how imperfect it still is.
  17. Invisibility. Coming out of port, coming out of battle, is the same. Or else an entire fleet can stay in battle ( not in battle screen ) and suddenly materialize out of thin air and join any squadron that did bite a "bait". Same could be done resorting to a port, having a fleet hiding and then unleashing on any squadron that did bite a "bait". ... we've tested and exploited the possibilities. C'mon... you talk about ganks but apparently you've never been caught in one that actually abused the extended timers with no cool downs.
  18. During a no wind period piglets would be let loose on deck. If they displayed a playful behaviour it would be a good sign of coming wind soon. Goats and other bigger lifestock would be kept below. It was recorded that pigs would make a mess on deck if the ship caught rough seas.
