  1. How much is the combined bounty on BLACK's necks ?
  2. Your expectations exceed the scope of the tournament. It is about teams. Do you have a team ? Do you have a match to play ? Awesome. Because a lot of teams are already out of play. So...are you game or what ?
  3. ahahahahahaha
  4. ??? This is a Teams tournament, not a Clans tournament. I see nothing wrong.
  5. Just to add a hint to what 3rd guard said, and sorry to SORRY for the liberty, instead of having those 30 RN ships hanging around waiting for BS exit it would be better to spread out in several squadrons and continuously keep the pressure. While the big battles and BS waiting game were going on, the rest of the Jamaican waters were been vultured by other raiders. I am quite hopeful that all these pvp sessions help everyone to become better, build better squadrons and overall improve the quality of the experience. ( also keep gallant in defeat as much as in victory )
  6. Aye aye ! My comment was a literal reply to the armageddon cultist up there.
  7. I'm from EU. NA is not as ping reliant. I'm with merging into US based pvp server if the infrastructure holds. Until then no merge.

  8. Maybe time for population to change nations and look forward to a new world Bigger population doesn't mean they will be able to provoke enough hostility if all they do is grazing sheep and tending farms.
  9. The raidings will continue until morale improves or a new leader emerges.

  10. You mean the ones we see everyday undercrewing ships because they are ill advised ? I don't believe any newcomer will simply overlook ships and try to rush to the next big thing, undercrew frigates and overall do all kinds of "sacrilege" on its own. The "vets" are the tutorial.

  11. Was watching plakrocks stream of that battle. Was great
  12. The storms actually move and you can follow them. The big ones with lightning and all can be seen coming. I think everyone has felt that storm pain.
  13. That's what we have at the moment
  14. You vote green while being at war, the War status will not renew itself if the score is less that the other War votes. What happens is population keeps voting war, so everything goes as normal. Everyone votes. Majority wins.
  15. Gaining over a prize at some 5 knots, not even 50 yards and boom, coward smoke and he ninjas out. Yes, my fault and rookie raider mistake, but... seriously ? Hell, will spend points on Control just to keep these little f....riends in battle unless they actually gaining distance.
  16. For no attacks while learning mechanics there's PvE choice. It is a good way to get into the Interface, how combat looks, what kind fo resources there is, how trade flows. PvP newcomer area is just that. A newcomer to pvp, area.

  17. Obviously. Same with extra hammocks as they were rolled and lined up the rails for increased protection more often than not. I'd say protection during boarding againt firepower on a defense & brace stances.
  18. Would enjoy to see a equal clash between PODW and 303. Truly both groups seems to be very gallant and truly capable.
  19. That's a bunch of pebbles. A captain was as important as a ship name. If anyone held the "ultimate" power in a pirate ship that's the Quartermaster. He's the doing doing the split for shares and being the ultimate crew representative. Captain has the ultimate power during chase, pursuit and combat. Outside of that everything is brought to vote - where to go, what to steal, where to sell and to whom. In some cases the old dogs and specialists, like navigator, linguist and obviously the Quartermaster will act like "praetors", being the "head" of the council and representing the diferente ideas aboard. That's the only comparison you can make to "Romans" ... lol. In the case of consorting and having several ships working together it was by renown and not by rank, so ultimate command of a fleet was given to the ship with more renown and only second consideration to the pirate captain. There's a lot to say about pirates but the only sure thing is - they wanted as much distance from the maritime and navy tradition they chose to abandon as much as they could, especially after 1713. ( plus you are looking only to anglo.saxon pirate tradition and forgetting they are only a small part ) The only rank truly necessary for NA is Captain or the ship name. If anything, renown, by plunder.
  20. Not as big as land in battles imo. That one was BIG, changed everything.
  21. I voted 10 for the perks I think should be mechanics like Control. Voted 5 for the ones that are actually credible. Voted 0 for the "breaking" ones, like Pirate, Coward, and other similar artificial bubbles.
