This tournament now has a new intro song In all seriousness, I think allowing such tactics is against the spirit of the tourny and the goal here is to create content and promote the game. If I wanted to watch 1 ship get sunk and then a 45min chase I'd just go out and try to find OW PVP. This is very clearly going to become the new meta for the tournament if it isn't shut down now. After the group phase is over, revise the rules. No undue running or whatever you want to call it. Moderator discretion.

yep, as long as there are rewards to ganking / alt farming .....people will abuse it. I wasn't a fan of the ctown ganking or whats going on outside of LT

Global very rarely cracks 150 if there are no pbs. Yesterday 140 was the highest.

I won’t speak for BLACK, but I know myself and most of my guys are losing interest. Really has nothing to do with the 3 on 1 or persistent battles outside Mort or LT. If anything those keep me playing. It’s disappointing seeing the population ebb and flow..mostly trending downward week by week. Even before KoC and his sunshine band of alt abusers started their reunion tour people were losing interest. I personally dislike the gank vs gank style of pvp and would prefer to just roam around looking for other solo players or small groups. Unfortunately we don’t have the numbers for that style of pvp. The constant gank outside of torture isn’t healthy for the server, regardless of which side you’re on.

Frigates mostly. 74s would roam the channel and the med, but still relatively close to a home port.

meh combat is never going to be 100% perfect or historically accurate in this game. Big ships typically didn't sail alone, don't sail alone in game either.

When dealing with the Spanish you most always remember it's do as they say, not do as they do. Frankly the solution is and always will be port timers set by the clan that owns the port. I believe there is historic precedent in captains being allowed to strike their colors those those who might offer them fairer terms. After all, any good captain will do his upmost to preserve the lives of his or her crew. I believe Barnabus did exactly that. It's pays to have friends out on the open waters. Also a side note, the pirates that nation changed to France did so to combat the 3 (Brit/FR/US) v 1 (Pirates) Zerg going on right now on global and the constant and persistent faming of new players outside mortimer. This was not a "troll" action as suggested by OP. The recent arrivals to france have all vowed to continue the privateering life and to side against any form of organized zerging that is ruining the server. I say we should commend these players for doing the right thing and keeping the global server a free for all. To just give a taste of what's going on, there is rampant alt abuse being used by the Zerg as well as some suspected alt farming that will be passed along shortly.

I think what he is saying is that he deleted the outpost and went through the warnings, but was sitting in THAT outpost and his ships deleted.
