Frankly this makes zero sense to implement now. The map is already mostly conquered and players have 1st rates in reserve. Perhaps after a map and ship wipe....I can see the appeal. But right now 1st rates aren't going anywhere in battles and all this does is prevent newer and returning players from being able to sail in them. and for the love of god, why are you still keeping neutral ports as part of the map win. Actual combat should be rewarded. Farming AI should not. -

so just spitballing Ideas here. @admin How about bringing back the instant PB ideas, but bring back the flag system that can only be purchased by victory marks. Thus making them important. -

Sounds like Sweden shouldn’t of waited until today to recruit global players. Instead rediii made a post a week ago saying “we’re not gonna lick american ass and we don’t want you”. smart move. I know a couple clans that were thinking about Sweden too, until rediii made that comment. Oh well. The ever victorious army of the Russian Empire will be spending its Xmas break enjoying the warm waters of hat island. Bermuda is just too cold this time of year.

Having played on EU for the past several months daily.....who you kidding. The pop has barely been cracking 500 for over a month. Today was higher than usual on a weds in the middle of the week before Christmas. Your nation has been pretty much afk for a while. Well you got your fight. Sorry they sucked in there and you lost Hat Island. It could been avoided by setting the timer as the mechanics allow. 1 loss and its doom and gloom in Sweden. Bye

Hat Island PB - Russian Nights Watch vs Sweden - Decisive Russian Win Enjoyable little battle. Props to Sweden for coming out. Kept the wind, shot masts and controlled the circles. Zero upgrade slot @Aventador did work on the other surprise 1v1 and secured 2 circles. Fight broke down inside A and 2 Swedes decided to bug out and leave their mates to die. Good easy win to bring the shroud of darkness back to the realm.

Looks like global players,...more than a couple of us are missing redeemables that were preexisting on global prior to the merge. Not sure if we're supposed to get them or not. If so, myself and tiargo are missing some. Christendom - 2 forged papers. Tiargo - 3 forged papers, 2 aggies. Morgot - 2 forged papers, 2 aggies.

Losing ships is fine, just as long as you get back on that horse and keep attacking. Losing ships + cowering in your ports is losing. Losing ships + keep on attacking is a learning experience -
His peter goldman account was perma banned. Not sure if that applies in game. No big loss.

Russia vs GB @ Apalachawhatever - Near flawless victory for REDS....thanks stepp Interesting portfor a fight. I think this one however would of been much better without the BR limits. 25 ships in that narrow canal would of been 10x more fun.

GB as a nation on both servers seems to continually suffer the same problems. Too many chiefs, too many councils and too many players think "I'll play this game how I want" means being a dickhead. We tried GB on global for a while, but it was like working for the government. Too much bureaucracy and not enough people who know how to do their job. I remember back in the western alliance days poor Augustus would always be chained to a council that was comprised mostly of players that didn't do RVR or grind ports....but somehow felt they had a right to every PB the others ground up. -

Not sure about you, but going to a nation that has no safe zone, could potentially lose all its ports and would have to operate out of free towns sounds a lot more - pirate like - than being an actual pirate in this game. Id prefer to be a pirate honestly if this game actually made being a pirate anything at all different than being a National....but it doesn’t. Even the 1 mechanic we did have was taken away. All you really get is a privateering mindset, which can be done in any nation. I just prefer to do mine in one that doesn’t have a wuss zone to hide in. How about you? enjoy your safe space mike. :-) ps - most of the active pirates on global are all going to the same nation because we enjoy playing together. The only ones that seem to object are the part timer pirates who pop on occasionally to comment. The flag on the back of your ship doesn’t matter, it’s the people you sail with. -

The game is already easy enough for the average trader with safe zones and vital resources that spawn inside of them. I still can't for the life of me figure out why there isn't a player generate ship delivery system in game. Player X puts up a contract to haul 2000 iron ingots to Georgetown. Player Y accepts and receives the payment + XP. So simple and such a good mechanic to generate content. Instead we're getting ships that can sail backwards.... Anyway @Cortez your idea has been suggested and tried before. Don't insult others because their opinions differ.
