  1. The real issue is this game does not have enough players to sustain a map of this size and what players we do have is spread thinly into 11 nations. The game is diluted and centered around capitals because it does not encourage players to leave them. There is ZERO content that players need to leave their capitals for other than RVR, which is kinda dead at the moment. AI fleets can be farmed in the safe zone. Missions can be pulled in the safe zone. Most players can trade with ancillary ports around the capital and haul their goods in and do most crafting. Christendoms surefire way to improve Naval Action. Patent pending of course. - Less nations. Move to a more clan based system - New player quest line that teaches them the ropes. Sail here, buy this, sail back....etc etc - No Battles at all in the safe zone. No PVP, No AI fleets. Only low level missions. - Increased rewards for missions taken outside of the safe zone - Limit crafting in capitals to Green ships. 2/5 - Guaranteed 3/5 Blue ship in Player owned ports with a chance to make 4/5 and 5/5. - Crafting regions or Imported goods from those reasons to create trim types. For example, "South Carolina Live Oak" for Sturdy or "Bahama Teak" For Fast/Very Fast. Basically make regions matter. - Special and Rare "roaming" AI fleets on the map that players would like to seek and get good drops off of. Moving Epic events. - Large weekend events with huge sunken fleet drops or something similar. - Weekly/Daily quests. Sink 5 of this or collect 5 of this from certain ports and turn in. Give random loot. TLDR - more content, more players, less nations and more new player protections
  2. NO DLC SHIPS IN PBs...EVER
  3. Your reply makes zero sense. lol
  4. And most budget laptops will have budget GPUs. Majority of them in the $500 range will have an outdated mobile GPU from the previous generation. Most will also have barebones storage and/or platter drives. Therefore a budget laptop is truly a waste of money that is antiquated the moment you click buy.
  5. also our top dog in the running for clan song
  6. I prefer laptops that aren’t plastic shitboxes that last longer than 2 years. I can afford better quality products. While at work I’ve logged into NA on the Mac a few times using boot camp.
  7. I'd prefer if we focused on quests, storylines or some sort of achievement line (aka stuff to do) to keep people engaged for more than 2 weeks after patches drop. Graphically the game isn't perfect, but it's definitely not one of it's flaws. Content Content Content Please!
  8. Yea poor guy. We were just afk sailing back home from Bimini and quite literally ran into him. Wonder what he was doing down there. Louis decrewed him while I sat next to him and just pood’d his side down. Those requins look so absurdly stupid in battle I was just laughing the entire time. You can hear me on allistairs stream cracking jokes. They look ridiculous
  9. Game would be better suited with a new player quest line that teaches them the ropes and then places them in a nation
  10. My proposal to admin would be to include LR in the safe zone and make brunswick a capturable port. Make cabo a freetown as it used to be prior to the wipe. I don't think the US should be as isolated as it is up there, it just breeds mediocrity......but LR smack in the middle of the zone is a bit of a blow to the US players who only have 2 directions to travel with their goods (unlike most other nations).
  11. Nothing. But everyone should know of your quality.
  12. https://gyazo.com/da3e730fefd17bf2d7565d8a409c74ea Man of the people here.
  13. Going back to Klooth?
  14. Pretty good fight outside Mimbres. And an even better one on the way home. Hercs OP
  15. hmm or did the bugged hostility and our changing of nations tip you off. I even made you guys aware that we dropped the port mid hostility grind, you still chose to grind it. If it were me and I talked the same amount of shit as you guys do in global, I'd want to win it fairly. But to each his own. Regardless any further discussion seems to be useless here. Hopefully admin recognizes something wasn't right here and corrects the issue.
  16. But it did effect the PB. The US couldn't defend it.
  17. Clan PBs are fine, we just need to be able to transfer them to other clans of the same nation. We tried to do the right thing by handing the port off to CSA, but did not anticipate the weird hostility bug hours prior and of course the port being ground up. Lesson learned, don’t drop the port until close to server downtime and we need better port management tools built into yr game for avoid these types of things
  18. Dunno but I’d buy the shit out of paints or a custom flags type of thing
  19. This morning our crafting clan dropped little river at the request of another clan in the US nation, we had already changed nations. It seems that once this happens, the port has some sort of bug and the timer and crafting perks aren't in effect. The timer on Little River was 00:00-03:00. Here is a screenshot of the dutch generating a hostility a couple hours before the timer window even opens up. Seems like something is up. Theoretically the clan doesn't drop the port until the server downtime. Another player reported that the labor hours perk was not working all day. Reporting this some sort of issue or bug. A french player PM'd me asking what was up with the timer, why was there hostility? I attempted to misdirect...but connecting the dots they figured out we had made it neutral and went to go grind it up. Instead of being able to grind the port in the morning as planned, the US will now lose it due to a neutral PB. While it's not my problem anymore as we're in a different nation, It wasn't my intention to screw over the US. If the port does not drop until server reset, I feel like the clan owning the port should be able to un-drop it just for situations such as this. Clearly if the port didn't bug out and hostility wasn't generated 3 hours early, the french might not of been tipped off to grind the port.
  20. that was definitely it. 2 players later and I'm back up to 4 slots and was able to reset them. bit of a pain IMO
  21. ok so the jump in ship rate increased the knowledge slots, makes sense I thought I had 4 unlocked.
  22. So I'm trying to mount "Art of Shiphandling" onto my herc and I keep getting this message. This is the tutorial herc btw. I was able to successfully swap AoSH onto another ship that had speed mods already. Other players do not report this issue. Something's up
