    Aye I should have my first connie built today. But getting the refit will be a pain, Also remember. that 15% mainsail force bonus is not the only thing you can get. There is a bowfigure which adds another 5% speed. I'll report my findings as soon as possible.

    Pre Patch a pirate refit studding sails Mahogany Connie did something like 14.6 Broad Reach I assume. Still below the cap, but still way too good. Now with that 15% mainsail force bonus, connies might actually reach the cap and go 15 knots. Do we really want that?

    On pve server, as he mentionned, it does But I said before, I dont undetstand why they dont just label evetything in pve marks on pve server. Pvp marks currency doesnt make any sense on there.

    I think he meant he got it ingame and listed the stats. On the Spreadsheet you posted the stats are reversed. Ingame its fine. Though I do wonder if 15% mainsail force bonus isnt a little bit overkill.. Remeber studding sails and pirate refit combo before patch?

    Aye But it was suggested before to tweak signaling so that the side being attacked can bring in an additional 15-20% BR. Because if you are in a Surp attacking a Cerb, it pretty much is already closed as only a bit more BR can join the def. side.

    You realize the video of the battle is up and posted in this thread. If you could point out at what timestamp(s) the fireship(s) are, pls let us know.

    They are good friends with the Spanish aswell, and as the Spanish have won Sant Iago (which was a proper PB btw), they made some conquest marks so they could buy the aggie BPs. They won a normal PB so that's their reward. Guessing they gave the first aggie to vicious as a gift .)

    Because this issue was not thought about before would be my guess and now they want our opinions. I would have never expected anyone to fake PBs in this manner just for the marks. Not even you.

    With some guys its just pointless to discuss anything I'm out of this tribunal, my opinion is set, hope devs make the consequences needed. Was hoping to maybe see a better side of you guys after the patch wipe, because, you know.. fresh start, no spilled blood. But I was wrong.

    Dude don't play silly. Every single one of you (except the mortar brig) in the battle got at least one assist, most got way more than that. That should be way more than enough to get to that threshold in order to get the 3 conquest marks for winning a Lineship PB (see the posts above as mentionned before.)

    Im not making it up Admin stated if you damage an enemy ship above a certain threshold, they get the conquest marks, which should be 3 each. I'm sure @admin could tell us here how it currently works. Or the spanish, since they won sant iago. Edit: See the post above by Atreides. Cap Francais is a Lineship port.

    On Testbed you did get some conquest marks for damaging the towers, but only to a certain amount. I believe only a hand full of people can get conquest marks that way, if it's uncontested. However the way you did it, everyone damaged an enemy ship (and you made sure they would LOL), so everyone got 3 conquest marks, 75 in total.

    Youre not allowed to farm alts for pvp marks in ow according to rules. So why would conquest marks in arranged battles where the enemy doesnt even have cannons be any different.

    Agree on that. Before patch i wouldnt even have thought about attacking cerbs and other small ships in my surp in the slightest way because thats a boring fight. Now Im often tempted to attack them. Not because I want to Fight them but because i want the pvp marks for doing so. (I still dont attack them if youre wondering) When pvp becomes a grind something is extremely wrong. Lets find a solution.

    yes that's because its pirate vs pirate FFA. everyone is red to everyone. there are no teams.

    you don't get marks nor gold for pirate versus pirate. but I dont understand why you are listed on his team. that battle was free for all, no? at least it should be
