    The only way of getting to some sort of transaction logs is the game logs afaik (Steam/steamapps/common/Naval Action/logs/) There you can see the chatlogs (was useful for me a few times already) and also other logs, for example what you bought where and for what price. But it would be nice to have a simplified version of that ingame, indeed

    Don't think that's the way the game should go, break ships down to get the BPs... Actually kinda liked the idea of those events, but how people reacted to them just wasn't how devs thought they would... Also the quantity of those BluePrints should be a little bit higher, imo.

    In the past few weeks we've been having some nice player organised small battle events. We made a rule, that the highest ships allowed were 5th rates. Most of the players were okay with that rule, but of course there's always a few people that think it would be funny to join in a SoL to screw up the BR and ruin the match for everyone. Now, they might argument that the small battles are for everyone and that they don't have to adjust to some player made rules. Fair enough, but I think there should be a way to have battles where it just isn't possible to join in a larger ship. for the ongoing tournament, a tournament room was made, so wouldn't it be nice to have a sub-room in small battles for ships that are not higher than 5th rates? =)

    Well first I had to get the Buc's stern down with my basic 4pdr balls. That took a while, probably around 20 minutes. But once I was done with that, I did around 16-24 Crew kills per Grape Broadside. Was a bit surprised by that myself Oo

    I totally agree, interactive crew would help with this issue, with stern-camping by smaller ships in general.

    So. I knew Grape-Shot was kinda strong at the moment, so i thought i'd had to test how far i could go. Was spying in my cutter in enemy waters, when i got pulled into combat. An inger and me vs. a Spanish Bucentaure. The Inger just stayed on range and chained the buc, so i thought that was my chance to get on the buc's stern and take it down. After an hour of constant manouvering i had killed 449 Crew off that buc by simply shooting it's stern with basic 4pdr grape shots. At this point, the Buc. decided to run. Now I'm asking myself, is that supposed to be THIS effective? I can not imagine that in reality a cutter would have been able to deal this severe damage to the buccentaure with his 4pdr cannons.. Discuss please =)

    2nd picture is just some nice painting of it i found in the web, liked it so i put it in there too =) although I just realised it's most likely not the same one. So i deleted it again. There were 2 ships carrying the name of the HMS Endymion, must have been the other one. sorry And yeah, agree, there need to be some penalties. but with the right settings (fir/rigging/speed, copper plating, speed trim and what not) she should be fun to sail =)

    So I've just seen that on facebook they've announced a new ship, the HMS Endymion. They say it'll have a topspeed of 15 knots, combined with a 24-lb gundeck According to wiki, the crew count is around 300-340. I'm really looking forward to this ship as I think there must be some severe downsides (sailing- and/or turning characteristics) of having a topspeed of 15 knots AND 24lb cannons on a 5th rate.
