  1. Not really. 39 ping and my computer has priority on my router and I still get the same as @Jon Snow lets go
  2. Smart tagging is part of the game. As it is now, circles spawning on land is considered a feature, not a bug.
  3. I would be careful in weighing in on this, but entering a battle accidentally on the wrong side is something that could very possibly happen if it is someone's mission where there are not two positional circles like in tagged battles. However it would seem that the obvious course of action when you find that you accidentally joined the wrong side in a battle is to either accept it and fight it, or leave it and retreat. You could either join the fight on the side that you chose to click - accidentally. Even if you fight against your friends it is still PvP, or you could accept the mistake and retreat and escape while your friends fight the battle without you. If your friends are the opposition in the battle, I am sure you could convince them to not tag you and to let you sail out of the fight and away to escape. Your friends would be one ship down in the fight, but such is the consequence of your mistake. I am not passing judgement on this tribunal case in particular, but it would seem to me that it would be unfair that the side that you joined by accident, would have to suffer the consequences of your mistake by having to absorb the XP penalty from green-on-green damage shooting at you even if you tell them to do os, or that you would gain any advantage from your mistake such as blocking shots or hindering ships when their players are hesitant about sinking or shooting a ship with friendly colours. If you just tell one side you joined that they should do green-on-green and fight you despite the same colours then you pawn the consequences of your mistake onto your opponents rather than assuming the responsibility yourself. False flags were a thing historically, but neither our game mechanics or our game rules allow for that to be historically recreated. So if you join a side in a battle you should fight for that side. The rules are maybe not clear enough on this currently, but then they could be clarified.
  4. Russian Empire clans so far are: RUS, REDS, CEBEP, BETEP, ASC, ILBUR, GOLD, RDS.
  5. My most exciting and fun day in this game for 6 months. See you again soon.
  6. Nobody is doubting your truthfulness here. But on principle the tribunal can only exact punishment based on certain standards of verifiable proof. A picture of a chat-conversation where Aria is not a participant is not proof of any action, and a picture of a bulletlog in txt format is also doubtful if it is reliable evidence that the tribunal should accept, on principle. Your best hope is that a dev is willing to take the time to use to timestamps in the txt bulletlog and check the serverside logs. But typically the tribunal rules based on the merits of the proof presented to not waste development time digging through server logs.
  7. My issues with the forum now appear to have passed. I no longer end up with the cloudfront error.
  8. There is no actual proof of the accusation in the screenshot. It only shows that player Aria was in the same battle as you. It does not show him shooting at you, nor damage logs or anything to support the claim. Did you make an F11-report or did you take other screenshots or video?
  9. @rediii Any chance you're having a similar issue to mine?

  11. Please no. At least now you have to sail traders around with repairs, even if not your warships. And there will be a market for repairs in faraway ports.
  12. VPN, or any other measure to change my IP, works. But it's a bit of a pain. From searching around for a cause to this problem I've observed that the same issue has hit multiple other forums with Invision Community IP Boards Software. Why I'm the only one hit here I don't know, but it could also be that I'm not and the others that are affected by this just haven't been able to get around it and write so here. From briefly reading about it this seems to be a security setting issue on the forum provider end, or otherwise an issue with the CNAME record.
  13. As I said in the OP, Firefox, IE, Chrome on multiple OS and computers.
  14. Nothing was changed on my end. It happened from one hour to the next yesterday evening. BTW this only happens with the subdomain forum.game-labs.net www.game-labs.net works fine.
  15. Whenever I try to enter the forum I get an error message instead of the site. Any URL I use to the forum returns the same message. I can't log onto the forum, or even see it, from my mac, windows computer or windows laptop or windows phone, and neither in Firefox, Chrome or IE. I can however see the forum and even log in and post from my phone if I switch off my wifi and use 4G instead. So it seems to be an issue with my IP address. the error I get from the site says "error the request could not be satisfied request blockedgenerated by CloudFront request ID: [string of letters and numbers that changes every time]" this problem has persisted since yesterday evening.
  16. Seeing as there are nations that can now theoretically get completely annihilated by loosing all their ports, forged papers should no longer be a non-renewable resource. New players who join one of the new Nations, starting a character now after the Forged papers have been handed out, should not be stuck there with no recourse to change their mind about their starting choice.
  17. Good luck! You take the Western half of Poland. I hear Volgograd is nice this time of year!
  18. Sorry, but there's like a bunch of warnings and confirmations when you delete your character. If you play on EU I can probably help you replace the gold you lost. The rank is gone I'm afraid.
  19. *bump* Any chance this will be fixed before new nations arrive? As far as I'm concerned this is the single most critical bug since the update to Unity 5, and it has been persistent for several weeks now. It is vital for clans discussing or deciding to change nation to be able to communicate with their members about it. This may be a hidden and not very high-profile bug, but it is absolutely critical, and crippling to gameplay for a lot of players and clans. This bug should have higher priority than any other bug and than any new feature in my opinion.
  20. Thanks! Is there a hint here that some freeports will loose their freeport status? Will we know which? I also do agree with those saying that you shouldn't be able to start in the new nations. New players will ignore the difficulty warnings and start as those nations, wether those nations have players or not, and wether they have ports or not. They will choose them because they are their IRL nation or because of some other affinity. They will not realise that if their chosen nation has not captured any ports they will have a hard time playing the game at all. He was referring to you (and devs') designation of Sweden as "HARD". Which is patently laughable at the moment. With or without the good PB fleet that Sweden has now, and regardless of all the captured territories, Sweden is one of the easiest starter nations for non-RvR-players.
  21. I don't disagree. Unfortunately there's not much GL can do about the bad development decisions of IP Boards/Invision Community that deliver the forum software. They had to update with the new version of the forum software, even though i think they delayed it as much as possible. I wouldn't want to see Game-Labs spend valuable development time on migrating the forum to another platform either. Hopefully Invision Community gets to their senses with their next major software update. There are however some things GL can do about the forum. For instance I am perplexed at the decision to make a National News sub-section for the PvE-server, yet no Guild Recruitment subsection for the PvE-server. That's completely backwards in my mind.
