  1. My girl is in that line, old USS Independence (CV-62), Sadly all those have been sent to Brownsville to be scrapped. I was down there when the Ranger came in it was a sad day. Though back on topic kinda like this but man that would be a bunch of resources to have all your ship list or the top ones. Though I kinda like the concept of having some ambit ships (none owned by players) in dock too so your ship doesn't look like the only one in port.
  2. I seen that on some others screens. I got to 4th rate for my same mission and the kill a 6th eater tells me to kill a 5th rate. I’ll screen shot it in the morning when I get home. i might test them on the way to the mission and see if it does the same for me.
  3. I was on for a few hours yesterday and had like 74 labor hours and was going to burn them. The cost was insanely high. Makes me wonder if cost was x25 too. shops need more spawn of basic stuff for testing. I know I bought up all of one cannons myself yesterday in pirates shop. No carrots in shop either, but that should be fixed for me once I get the money to do my labor for Econ

  5. You have a Diana on testbed? We start with a Frigate and Suprise and only 280 crew. Yes the Frigate could prob take on a 4th rate, but it could be a pain. I would prob more than likely use the Herc (you get your DLC content) and start camp it. I haven't even loaded guns on the frigate yet cause got to make a little money to buy such and test other things. Though since your speaking of Diana I take it your not even on Testserver?
  6. The game doesn't support true fullscreen either. I take a big FPS hit when I run the game compared to other games cause it doesn't support true 4k properly too and I prefer to run the game in Fullscreen but it's not being used properly. Maybe once they UI's are all done they can optimize the game a bit better. I knoticed a big FPS drop when they brought OW UI into the game. Academy if I remember correctly allowed you to make labor contracts. Forge is the new workshop where it allows you to make cannons. I always thought workshops where needed to make other things too. I believe we have a building for that now. Maybe that was Academy and the labor contract thing is something else. You have bought a land title but haven't used it for an out post. If you paid the 1000 coin and 2000 coin for two more tittles than it would say Plot Available in those slots too until you put an outpost down.
  7. I was going to do the 5th rate kill mission and than notice it's kill a 4th rate? Really you want some one to kill a 4th rate with a 5th rate? I mean it can be done but not by most normal casuals. I'll do the missions once the servers back up but I figured if I"m doing a 5th rate missions I would be killing another 5th rate. I think it's the same for the 6th rate, kill a 5th rate. Lucly I have a herc cause I'll just stern camp the crap out of that 4th rate and hope I don't die. The other missions hunters where you have a number of ships of a rate to kill look like nice little PvE missions I assume PvPand PvE count for these so folks would want to make sure they have them set before say a shallow water PB or going into the Shallow water patrol zones they would want the 6/7th rate missions on there char for sure. IS there a way to make it so you can have more than 5 of these missions at one time? I should be able to claim all missions at once since I don't just sail 6/7th rates or 4th rates or what ever. I play with all size of ships. I think bumping it up to 10 would be good. Keep the hostiltiy missions at 3 as always. When will we see the econ missions?
  8. I'm with the other guys bring back outlaw battles. It was abused by none pirates (using pirate alts) and we now have ways around this and well just screw it let them abuse it and we will report it, but pirates should be able to fight each other. Keep the able to enter both sides also. With that I'm actually on one of my alts as a Pirats cause it's more central. Most folks might want to do what we did last time on testbed is pick two nations close to each other to test things. Most of us did pirates last time cause we could fight each other to test things. One of the problems I was noticing this morning with the UI and dragging stuff is that the box you drag is the size of the text/item and some times is hard to get into what your dragging it into if your not perfect on the size. Wonder if there a way to make them smaller when being dragged and than have it go back to original size when it's dropped into a new location. That and why is Econ production so freaking expensive? I haven't been able to do any cause it was very expensive compared to what It feels like in game now. I have to go out and grind a lot of gold just to do my econ. As mention before all coins lookd the same. Silver coins items should have silver coin not a gold looking coin. That and when you mouse over have the item actually tell you what the cost is. The Admiralty shop is a bit pain cause every thing looks like it takes doubloons when really some of it takes silver coins and such.
  9. Yep that is what I was getting at sea but in port correct info. Also the coins are really confusing cause every thing has a gold coin next to it, but some things take silver, others take normal coin and what's the Doublloons for? No explanation what coins cost what as they all look the same.
  10. I don't think wood types are redeeming right. I did teak/wo and in open world it says I have Cedar/Cedar/Mahog....same with the LVG I just captured. I felt very squashy going against the LVG for being in a teak/wo herc.

  12. I think she would be used more if she wasn't for PvP marks only. They really should make her craftable for those that don't want to spend PvP or CM for ships. I honestly should be able to use VM's for any permit for ships that you can get with PvP marks too and be able to craft them. Since she's not craftable folks just prefer to go with a Bellona that has better stats and is cheaper as it doesn't take PvP marks to make one.
  13. I'm pretty sure that was suppose to be upon released of the game, just like we will all get the Pandora when the game goes live. NA:L never went live so no reward.
  14. I like how ya'll added the tab above log in that has important info in this case what to do and the goals of the test bed. Like I said in the mail over the weekend when I got on by accident the log in looks great. Can't wait for the info to log in fully and see how things are.

  17. Actually ships where insured cause most of them didn’t get paid off from the investor until years and years later. Not to mention this is a game.

That why it shouldn’t pay for the full price that a ship sold for and remember this is crafted ships only. @admin what about bringing back Co of crafted ships in battles used by other for crafters? Give them a little something if they aren’t into the combat of the game and just the crafting and trading. I also think do for sailing needs to go to ship knowledge so trade ships can gain Co for long hauls to unlock slots on them.
  19. Don’t add cannons, keep it simple just base price of ship. Every time you sink you will still loose money just not every thing. Keep it simple. i fought very hard to get xp for damage back in game to help out the casuals, low levels and new players and I like this concept very much. It won’t replace the ship and goods but it will make lost batted not hurt as bad as they get Co and some gold back in return for there lost ships. Maybe some marks if they got any assist or kills in the fight.
  20. This is the base price. You never get what you paid for. When you claim insurance they rarely add in rims stereo and other stuff to your car when it gets total. You get the base cost of the car insured and than take away for wear and tear. Your brand new 100k car is no longer worth 100k the moment it drives off the lot
  21. We know that it’s progextive to be done in septembder. We are now to the last week of September. So will it be by the end of this week? #whenseptemberends or should we wxpect more delays? A heads up would be good for those that might to finish up last moment crafting and Econ stuff or be on that morning to test out all the nifty new stuff. PS where are paints?
  22. Not to go off topic, but exactly how is the game suppose to be played? It's a sandbox you can play it any way you want, so can I or any one else. There is no one true way to play this game. With that hope to see a bunch of USRM guys about soon. CSA has reverted back to the basic's and cutter wars when needed we will bring out the bigger boats, but a proper Cutter fleet is always welcome to hunt and check cargo in US and neighboring waters.   24. To you that might not be hard core, some folks aren't on all the time and they aren't export vets and think that is hard core. Remember this game isn't about just what I or you or any one player wants or needs. It's about a whole collection of players and most of them are casual noobs....not hard core PvP Vets like most of us that post on here. I have suggested that they can only dock up in capitals, limiting where you can use them. There should be no SOL's docking in Freetowns either perm. You can pop in and out but you can't jump to another ship. If you want to keep your SOL's around a fighting area your nation needs to have a port there. BR for port battles needs to be rebalanced to many low Br port battles and they need to put limits on some like "4th rates and below" Which will get you more ships in there. I know a lot of folks that honestly stop playing for two main reason. The UI and that there are not epic 1st rate battles any more. NAVAL ACTION:LEGEND......it bomb cause of many things, but one thing it for sure bomb is players interest wasn't big for that type of play. Not to mention most of the folks I saw play it was a group of PvP Vets that all joined on one team and smashed any one that tried to play it too until they got all the top ships. Which made it not fun for any casuals. They wouldn't fight each other, they bitched about AI (which was there cause they wouldn't fight each other). Lobby base games are a dime a dozen. Just look at all the arena games out there....they have so many copies of copies that the pumped of teens jump into play a month or so until they get bored and move onto another game. The closes to this is WoWs and that game is way more polished than this game has ever been. Maybe it's time to pick a new nation that the one that has just about the majority of your prime time PvP/RvR players. I still don't get where guys that jump ship think they will get better fights by joining the side that is smashing every one, that tends to more boring fights or less of them if anything. Take a month off and switch over to another nation and hunt the hunters. You do solo hunting all the time man, maybe find a new target? That and remember a lot of folks aren't playing right now cause of waiting on this big UI/Econ patch. Go take a break and play something else. My 5 would prob be: 1. Make actual safe zones around the capital regions of the core starting easy nations to allow players to grow and PvE as they feel, they will not PvP cause folks think forcing them into PvP will make them. NO more false safe zones. We need to retain players not chase them away. 2. The return of paints. I'm so sick of see the same bland ships over the last year after having paints for so long......while keeping the customization controled with Paints and Flags maybe add some sails too. Folks are suckers for things like this and will pay for them in DLC, but there should always be an in game option to buy any DLC type items or win them with loot. 3. I know alot of this will be coming with the UI patch (#WHENSEPTEMBERENDS) but more missions, PvE content, PvP content, things for folks to do so they aren't just sitting in port or even sitting in safe zones. I would loved if the map was fog of war with only the capitals listed when you start and you actually have to explore the map to open up where other ports are and actual islands and things not charted on the main map. I been to ever port in game at least once, so why should i return them upon release. Give folks things to do to get out there and about and you will see more players in game too. 4. Proper Navigation tools in game. We need grids back on the map with Lag and Long so I can tell some one meet me here. Players need a rough Lag and Long in game of there ship location (no GPS dot on map, they still have to figure out the location with the lag and long). As above give them a fog of war type map with basic info that opens up when you explore and gives you more detail as you open up that area. Maybe list only main capitals on them so you have to go to that area to find the other cities and map them. 5. Clan control of a port. If I'm paying so much tax's back to my nation I should have more control of the port my clan owns. Have clan friendly trade list of who can put in contracts (every one, Nation only, friend clans only). Give them resources back from that port so they can sale some of them without having to fight with the bidders and contracts. Allow for more things to upkeep the port. Allow them to buy more forts or forts for some ports that might not have them. Pay to increase the AI patrol out side of ports. With that would like to see more aggressive AI in green zones. 6. Some proper Pirates mechanics in game where they can be the thorn in every one side but not be part of RvR national stuff. There has been so many good suggestions out there I'm not going to go on and on on this one.
