I thought we where suppose to get the Hermione last patch? Makes me wonder what is up with that ship. I wanted it cause I would love something around the Santa Cecelia level of ships. But we can't get them on PvP2....-

It's mid January now, any updates on this? You have folks that stopped crafting ships and some even stopped logging in again cause they where expecting a patch. Well it's past End of December and a new year. Would be nice if we can get some updates once in a while? We where promised an update of the road map by end of last week and haven't gotten it. This is why your loosing players among many other reason from playing. So should we expect this in the next week or so or next month?

The last time we flipped Cap Frances we took all Curse mission in the same spot and hit them with I beleive 6 players. We flipped it in just over an hour and half. We had it above 50% before the guys even turned in one war supply (they only count up to 50% when attacking). It was the same when US flipped kids. We couldn't get there fast enough to respond and stop them even though we had a few guys out trying to do fleet and hunt them down. You get a good dedicated small group it's not hard at all to flip ports. I notice when we do catch them. They aren't taking curse mission and it's lower then 169 missions they are taking. That is why it takes them so long to grind up agro and well US has War Supplied Kidds all three times they tried to flip it including the last time. So that instant 50% gives you hardly any time to respond. The problem we have is that the stupid prot battle times don't allow us to do decent battle times. By time most of us get home from work So by time we get on and start grinding it's all ready past the time to get the last port battle. They really need to fix the port battle timers back to something like when we where able to drop flags and can't pull them. We really would like to have eve port battles but most of us are PST/CST so 5/6pm EST port battles that US/BRITS set up don't work cause we aren't home from work yet. So instead we to get better odds just flip it and let the SEA/AUS players have fun in the mornings.

Doesn't matter if they owned on port or 100, the devs said they are here to stay so get over your self and stop bringing it up. You didn't, but US has been poking at Danes all week. Guess who's in an alliance with them? The history lesson is cause y'all don't get the hint. You keep pushing folks back to one port some one is going to get fed up and get help and than they tend to bite back. Taking some one down to one port will make them want to fight back harder. Than when most of your PvPers get bored and switch nations you now have no one to fight back and get crushed. This is what happens to US/Brits. It wasn't cause Pirates stole the players. It was cause your best players got bored and left. Hasn't the Dutch lost a few good PvPers lately? I know the Brits have lost a few too cause of the stupid alliance. Lets not even guess what's going on with the NPG clan split thing. Either way we can talk until we blue what we want with the pirates mechanic, but until the devs come out with those we are a Nation and have to follow the same rules every one else does just minus the alliance system. You did not need to take France Texas/LA to stop the war supplies. I can take a trader to just about a dozen ports and buy every thing I need to make war supplies with. They don't need the french ports and prob weren't even using them for that. I don't know who comes up with some of the stuff we hear that you guys think is going on, but man it's off the wall. France was force into that alliance with Swedes and they got punished cause of it. It was nice what Dutch did, but US had no room to take french ports over a Dutch/Swede fued. As for taking crucial regions? WHO'S? Those regions weren't even ya'lls from the start. THEY WHERE FRENCH. Have you looked at the map lately? Who owns the south eastern corner of the map and is number three for most regions? Ya'll don't need a few regions here and there and they aren't crucial for ya'll cause you have those region bonus and resources all over the place in your own owned regions. The only scaredy chickens I see are the US/BRITS/DUTCH that can't fight equal number fights so they make a super alliance so they have 35+ to fight against smaller nations that just field 5-15 at most. Sounds like a bunch of cowards that can't fight on there own so they have to team up with each other. Can I remember ya'll are the three biggest nations right now on the server. While We might have more players than Dutch, we can't field that many players all the time either. to be honest pirates and dutch are prob about equal on active players (not total) right now. The dutch was defending right? So why couldn't they capped two circles and keep them? Ya'll start out with one all ready being capped from the start. It is harder for them to take more than two and that numbers 25 to 18 isn't that big of a difference. If you got them spread out between two cap zones and keep a few guys back at A you could of captured one zone and split there fleet and crush half of it. We where out number at Windward and we still won it on an attack. You want to know how? We where aggressive and sunk them as fast as we could to make equal numbers or more. 15 to 17 with us only loosing 4 and they lost 10. Put it to 11 vs 7 at the end. You got to be aggressive and not a bunch of care bear PvEr's.

I'm sorry updating your road map should not take time. They should have one in the office prob with weekly updates. For use we haven't had an update of it in months. Since the last big patch which was in November. I'm pretty sure they have a running game plans of what projects they are working on next for content. Even if it's a small Dev team. New ship crafting was suppose to be out end of Dec/Jan. Well it's Jan so when is that patch suppose to be here? I'm going to guess it's more like end of Jan/Feb at the rate they do things.-

By what I was getting out laws where the true pirates and that the rest of the privateers/pirates where going to be more like Mercs for other nations. Though we really don't know cause Devs keep being so tight lipped about Pirates. Hopefully the new roadmap will give us more details. I would love if we keep the pirate flags except if we have a contract (clan based) with a nation to help them. While we have that contract as a Privateer for that nation we fly there flag. When the contract is up we go back to being pirates. Give us Kidds and mort as perm bass that can't be captured (Mort can be free town for all like Pitt's was.) Than let us just work out of the free towns and who ever we do privateer work with.

hope this means today since it was suppose to be updated end of last week. Thanks for the update. Would really like to see the updated plans and maybe that we might get some new pirate mechanics some time soon....wishfully. -

and don't forget how many folks aren't currently playing being added into those caps. Though I do think they should give small pop nations incentive to be played. Maybe increase the XP/Credit game if you are under so many regions to help them. -
I would prefer if we tweek the current systems and get them working before we think of any type of micro crew systems. Hell we don't even have pirate mechanics yet in game. Though I think things like marines and boarding parties and able seaman should be a slider bar thing instead of magical mods that only few folks have cause they are so rare. This way no matter what you have to have a min crew to man the ship to sale it properly. Than of the rest of the crew you can arrange them for gunnery or boarding/marine parties as you feel fit for that ship depending on it's builds. Don't get to fancy with it and each ship has a cap that you can't go over (the crew needed to properly sail it) so you can't make a ship just nothing but boarders. Now remember if you take say lets use a Connie per example. 450 crew is what it normally holds with 145 needed for Sailing. That leaves you with 305 for manning the guns or marines. In the current system Marines will offer yo what 1-50% crew so you can have 45 to 225 marines on board depending on the mod you pick. This means with normal gun set up and gold marines you pretty much have only 80 crew for your guns unless you use some from sailing. Which your crew should be allowed to move around like that to fill the positions if needed. Though I think they should make the 10-50% off the none sailing crew so that you can only have 30-150 marines top for that ship. But you get to pick when you are in port what number of crews you have dedicated to marines and/or not. This way no one needs fancy mods and you don't have these gold fit board only modded ships that just rage board. Than maybe limit the supplies of marines you have in a pool of your total number of crew you can have for your rank. You board and loose them a lot your pool shrinks until refilled. Though you could later make up for the lost by just adding sailors to the ship. Make the cost of marines higher than normal crew to replace. When marines are lost they are only replaced by able body sail crew through press gang. Perks like Doctor and using Medkits after a battles returns crew like normal, but only to the max of what was set to that ship when it was in port for each crew type.

For the billionth and 1 time the DEVS said Pirates are a Nation they are the Pirates Republic. Until we get are own mechanics we are treated as one. So stop with that BS. Just get over with it. So until we have those mechanics and yes we want them we will have to do national things. Do you really think you would want us raiding ports randomly with no way ya'll can conquest us cause we don't own regions? I really think a lot of folks are going to hate that concept when it's actually put into game. So what you have for now is way better. Since we don't have alliance it keeps us in check so other nations can fight each other with us being the thorns in every one side. In all honesty the Pirates should be Privateers for different nations for hire. Kinda like Mercs Unit are on MWO. My Unit almost always takes contracts with House Katrina, but a few times we have gone to work for smaller houses that are aligned with House Katrina to help them out. While on contract they work for that nation and can use there ports/regions. Than you can still have the true Pirates "OUTLAWS" that doesn't work for any nation. Your lovely US alliance buddies have been putting agro on Pounce almost every day this week trying to flip it. So thank them for waking the sleeping lions. You know Dutch is way closer to any Dane port than US so think about if they want to strike back why not help the swedes and fight DUTCH. I think ya'll just screwed your self more with an alliance with them than you think. Remember when we went to war with Brits the US never really helped them get ports back. All they did was capture Pirates ports (that us to be Brits) and keep them. Yah if you have an alliance you can just cheese and use the others ports, but do you really want to have no regions and be using another nations ports/regions? History tends to repeat it self, so watch when you poke the little nations. Those little nations could be down to one port and than next you know they have half the server down to a few ports. That is what happen with the Pirates. US brought them down to Mort and camped out side it killing any new players that came out. That is why the Pirates pushed them back to 11 ports. So watch it. History has a lovely way of repeating it self in one way or another. Swedes might be the new pirates....lol...ok maybe not but it's a good laugh.

Awwww did the little Dutch get beat by the Swedes finally cause they are in an alliance with Danes now? How many US joined ya'll by the way? I heard it was something like 25 vs 17/19 (heard both numbers) with some Danes still out side. Would love to see a screen shot of how many actually where there on both sides. As for the suggestion it's been mentioned on PvP1 I think too cause of smaller nations battles being filled with a larger aligned nation. Maybe now you will know how Pirates felt who can't have any alliance and we have to fight US/BRITS/DUTCH 25+ with many out side screening so we can't even get all our numbers in which average about 10-15 most port battles if we are lucky, not counting kidds as that is the first time we got 25 in port battle since patch. Alligeds only get 50% hostility of what ever the attacking/agro building nation puts on a port. So say Swedes grind a port to 100% than the Danes only get credit as putting 50% on there, but this is so say the swedes grind it to 75%. Than the Danes can come along and finish it off. They only have half of that 75% so they can actually put 60% agro on that port and it will flip for the Swedes if no one stops them since that 30% of 60% would put the Swedes 75% over 100. I would like to remind ya'll something. Ya'll keep pocking a sleeping bear what happens? He wakes up? US keeps trying to flip Pounce. You are in an alliance with US aren't you not? Well just think about that and let it sink in. Who ports/regions are closer to the Danes? Who do you think in that alliance they will counter attack and take ports/regions from?

I agree we need to know what is the low pop and what isn't. I would prob make a national on one account to play on one server and keep my main a pirate on the other when the game goes live. Just hate you share the labor hours or I would just play different things on each server. I liked how POTBS did it, you could switch nation at reset time (end of war) but you where playing a new char and you didn't share any resources between those chars. So all your stuff is locked until the end of a war and the server regions reset to default and you can than pick which nation you want to play. That gives you a chance to say pirate for a few moths and than switch to say Spain the next time if they need help and if they get there numbers back the next region reset you can switch back to your pirate. All while having only one account. None of your stuff is shared (though the could do this with the levels/ranks still) materiel and ship wise between the different nations chars you have on one account.-

Yah I would add them to steam if you want to play other times. The reason why you can't cause it lets yo know if they are on or not and can be used for spying/counting. -

Well they can spread out the zones for each nations. Every one gets the same amout of regions/ports and they can just be happy with trading. Though alliance could effect them I think and you can still have you char on the Pvp side if you alot out post for it. Though there would be no free towns and no trading goods from one side to the other. That is the only way I can see it working. In all honestly they don't need the PvE server until release or they are ready to work on PvE only content. There web pages says there will be one, that doesn't mean they have to have one now. I would prefer to see RvR tweeeked better, new shipping crafting stuff released and working and well PIRATE MECHANICS....but than I"m biased on that last part cause I play a Pirate. -
Even though I'm on PvP2 this is very handy has we been looking at ports trying to figure out a better way to help out the smaller nations since we currently have the French Silver port cause US took our Bahama one straight off the bat. Than I notice. US has three silver ports right now. You think they give up one of the them to one of the smaller nations or something, but no they have to own all the GoM. Would be nice if they gave back French Texas and La and maybe one of those silver regions. I really haven't had an issue on gold shortage cause of the bottles and all the gold coins it gives you and the random AI ships,. Copper recently started to be a problem with speed trim. I had a ton stocked up but now it's getting depleted since patch. Nice to see where they are at now and where I might have to look at hunting or contracts. I'm waiting to see what the new ship crafting stuff will be like, but to be honest the silver drain hurts folks the most cause it's needed for any mods to make no matter what quality cause of the mid notes. Mods really should have had something else for them. I would think the levels would of been better being copper, silver and gold depending the quallity with no notes for the common ones (no reason to build any basic mods).

The Vict does seem to heel a lot. Here is one way to help. BATTLE SAILS. Every one keeps there sails up at full and wonder why they got to use depower. You have every freaking sail out at full force to pick up the wind and that is a lot of wind it does. Drop it to battle sails like you should be in battles any way and you will notice a big difference.

I was expecting today since it's Friday, but more like we will see it update Monday. It would be a PvE only zone so they don't have to have a PvE server. I'm all for it if they stay on that side and can't really come over or transfer there goods from one coast to the other. It gives them a safe place and let there be only two servers. They can save the PvE alone server for when the game is released and all the PvP server content is done with. -

See Elricks post....they are captured ships not fleet ships. IF you look at your own Port Battle picture you posted there are fleets in that one. Cause back many moons ago you could bring fleets into a port battle (notice it's two cutters). Than they stopped that when they stopped all fleets. If you actually look at the port battle end roster it list about 4 guys getting captured and well even one of the captured ships got captured back (JD Shots I think used it cause his was sinking). I think one more person did that too on our side and looks like Willis captured some back too. I'm not sure as that was over in the B circle and I was fighting in C. You will have to ask one of the guys that was fighting on that side what all happen.

I know he's been in a few PB, but when it's 35 vs 10 or something you don't really see much of that action. Specially when we are talking about a care bear PvEr after all. If the guy spent more time in game and learning and playing than worried about other nations he might actually have half a clue as to why they sink so easily when we fight them. Remember we where out number with them having tons of forts at that Port Battle and we sunk over twice the numbers they sunk of us. Hell Bundgie got sunk by the Forts not a player. Yah we won't be sending some one to A on that map again lol. That is why if you count there actual kills it's 3 not 4 cause the tower killed one of us. And we have 10 kills as we did all the kills our self. 12 vs 15 and the lost was 4 vs 10.....ouch. Though I think it would of been more on both sides if ran the last 5 mins off the clock. Many of us including myself where in pretty bad shape. As you can see from my screen shot I was 3/4 full of water. Again good fight to the US and Brits that showed up. We had a lot of fun and hoped they did too. As far as we know it wasn't a major econ region for them and we have no problems with any one else fliping it for a fight. Maybe if we can be left alone to run the agro up on a region we can get a decent port battle time. Many of us don't log on till later and by time we spend 2 hours trying to flip a port it's past the last port timer stop point. That is why we keep flipping them after reset cause one it gives a better number odds against them as clearly they have no problem still having more than we do and two cause by time we get back on in the eve the agro will be grounded down to zero and have to start over again. Last we do have a bunch of SEA/AUS players that been wanting port battles in there time. Like we use to do a lot with Loco back when he was active.

NEWBS? The majority of the people on that list are Flag Captain, that is 650 crew. I'm sorry if your still a newb by that level no wonder ya'll loose so much. Even the lowest racking guy Master (Fatty McChesse, man that screen is old) which is 250 crew and rank 6. If you are over half way to max rank you are no longer able to use that excuse. In fact at that time I was Master rank and I had some one make me a Suprise so I had something half decent. I gather up all the mats and labor contracts and gave them it so they can craft since I was still low level crafter too. Oh you mean back in June when Rats where getting back at US cause they took them down to one port? Yah I remember those days, but I don't dwell upon them either. Your clock on your computer does let us know it's 6/15/2016.....once again over 6 months ago stuff your talking about. Move on man that is old stuff int he past from back when you were US and not even DUTCH. I do remember while we where fighting the Brits the US pulling 5 flags in the Bahamas and maybe showing to two cuase they knew COM/ZILCH could hardly field a full team. That and waiting until BLACK was in a port battle with the Brits. So no one nation is inacent of the multi flag pull. Well maybe Spain, but hay they never been a threat to any one. Well not on this server. We are talking about ports we had last month after the PATCH. Not months ago. There is a big difference in doing things since a new RvR system and all regions/ports was reset. As for the screen I just posted this morning. Are you really that blind? There are no AI/Fleets in that screen shot. Those are the captured ships on both sides. Just shows you really don't have a single clue about game mechanics when you can't even figure that one out. Here I'll attach the before things started screen shot of who was on what side. The other team actually did something smart and used some of the captured lightly damaged ships to jump into when thier own ships where damaged bad.

Bridgetown Deep water Pirate VS Brit Port Battle. 12 Pirates vs 15 US/Brits (mostly Brits) I want to say this was a very fun port battle. We just was going to come to have some fun. The numbers where close so we where like hell split us between C and B and lets just brawl it out in those circles. Pirates ended up owning all three circles and made it to 1000 points with less than 10 mins on the clock. I still think the battles should be 2 hours instead of 1.5 hours. Than again it might of turned a totally different way cause many guys on both sides where really damages. I was sinking at the end myself. Until next time and maybe we can try to get one flipped before 10pm CST for an evening port battle around 8PM CST. We really need to push on the Devs to get this fixed so we can have battles between 8-12 pm CST like we use to on the old flag system.

6 hull 71 Sails hits? Maybe the reason they lost is cause they weren't fighting. You wouldn't of had BR even if they stayed by looking at that screen shot they where all ready out gunned. If that is all the damage you have and brits look to not have much of any either and they had the bigger ships.

You forget that is only one port battle and was the first time we got 25. Why shouldn't we be able to get our highest numbers for our last main econ regions? If it fell ya'll would of took San Jaun and Castrries in days. We had to bring every thing we could. ya'll still had 35+ at the port battle. Those that did dual box where the guys that had dragged brits into a fight out side. We didn't want them to bring any alts into the Port battle cause we had 25. The most we had before that was 19 against 35+. We aren't the ones that keep attacking every one. That is the US doing that. We have only been attacking regions we lost to US or Brit. So why shouldn't we attack and try to get those back? I'm sorry y'all sound like a bunch of scared kids. OH and that massive damage we suppose to take and don't, STOP SHOOTING OUR SAILS. While ya'll are shooting our sails we are shooting your water line and putting links into your ships. That is why we can sink so many of you even when out number. You don't even want to know how many times I gotten broad sides of chain too cause that is what ya'll had loaded up instead of shots by time we got into close ranged. STOP ATTACKING US AND WE WON"T ATTACK YOU. Every action has a reaction. US attacked kidds so we defended it. Cap Frans and Barcaos was ports we took from france at the start. We just want them back. Little Harbor and most of Bahamas was Pirate regions from start. Now they are US. Look at the map and really tell me who is the one that is zerging the map? It's for hell not the pirates. Y'all keep poking the bear your going to get bit. You play with fire your going to get burned. Every time we did something in the past it was cause of something another nation did to us first. And again unitl the DEVS GIVE US PIRATE MECHANICS WE ARE A NATION.....live with it. Killing us all off isn't going to change that. In fact if you leave us alone and let us get the little buffers we want we would move things to OW and PvP and leave other nations alone to fight each other. The problem is ya'll just can't get the KILL ALL PIRATES OUT OF YOUR HEADS. The trust seems to be lacking in ya'll. You know one of the many nations that can't keep there own words and tend to kill other nations that aren't strong enough to fight back. So why is US attacking Danes now? Why did they take the France Tex/LA ports? To me it's not the pirates ya'll should have an issue, it's not us ya'll should fear. If it wasn't for us they would very much be turning on Dutch and British. Maybe we should all just leave and let ya'll twiddle your thumbs and have you PvE server cause that is what your wanting. Nothing will change cause than US will move on to one of the other nations taking them and all the regions. Nice screen shot from 6 months ago, once again bring up past stuff cause you have no grounds right now. Maybe stop living in the past and live in the future man.
