looooooooooooooool... sob.
I decided to grind slots on connie since legends is a pve fest at this stage. When you have the creeping up on sinking ships down they start to beach themselves. We have to herd our enemy cats away from lee shores while we try to kill them mercilessly.
Hehe, the random pve loot "sandbox" has damaged me. I half expect "everything" to mean "many things but not glorious random pve loot drop upgrades and books."
This actually happened in DA-NO land a while ago. Some feathers were ruffled, sure, and we had the opportunity to throw fuel on the fire by hitting on traders who came with diplomatic papers in hand. It passed quickly. "Sjov og spas".
Hmmm, what leads to more pvp, open back doors or civil war?
Is civil war something you can realistically hope for? There must be a million-billion exploits, griefing opportunities and general headaches attached to it, no?
<shifty eyes> Is this a trick question?
But i keep hearing about unknown masses of players that absolutely need this tedium in game, so the game is centered around them and the pve grinders. I've never been able to make any sense of it.
I'm not entirely sure I understand what you're getting at...
I could argue that ships for pvp marks is a way for players to use that free will to choose the navy career. Without ships "given to them by the admiralty" they're at the mercy of eco and crafting players.
Is grinding pvp marks considered easy now?
I don't recall crafting ever being relevant. Any ship is has ever just been a blank canvas, upgrades and books is what it's all about. I actually wish crafting was relevant; It'd be a good thing if humans could actually make what other humans truly want.
Yea, you're right, that was a cheap shot at the pve grinders.
This is what we get when we have people asking for "more content". Something pretty broken gets reintroduced and it's somehow ok because it costs a lot.
We actually tested it and long time ago and it was universally rejected as a bad idea. That was the old PvP guard and I guess it's back for the new pve grind crowd.
