Mr. Drummond has pretty much hit the nail on the head. Anyone who has actually been participating in the game and the forums over the past four months has seen all manner of features, tuning, changes, and other development advances. The game has never made a claim to be anything other than a "sandbox" open world game, and those who purchased during Sea Trials were warned of that fact on the purchase page and repeatedly in the forums. This was never going to be an arena game, and it was not persistent or successful as same. As to social media, while Twitter hasn't been updated, there have been a number of Facebook posts, including a recent post where it was announced that a limited number of additional keys had been made available. Meanwhile, we have nearly weekly patches which are doing what an Alpha should do - tweaking and enhancing the core gameplay features. The claim that the project has been abandoned, that the Developers are doing no new work is, on its face, completely untrue and not supported by even the thinnest amount of logic. Your claim that the Developers have taken everyone's money and run is libelous and further claims of this nature absolutely will not be tolerated. Steam Early Access was promised in the winter, and it is currently slated for mid-January. If you have feedback about the game to post, please do so in the correct feedback thread. If you do not have constructive, truthful, respectful feedback, the door is right over there. This thread has run it's course and serves no purpose - I'm going to lock it now.

I've been thinking about this one today and I don't have any immediate suggestions for you. Please try reinstalling the game, also check and make sure your video drivers are fairly current, but given you're running Win10, they can't be too terribly old. That button was disabled in a prior patch. We've been asking to get it back. For now, you need to apparently use the Steam Overlay screenshot button, I have no idea where it is, nor where it stores the screens.

Your video card and CPU are a little on the low end. It will run the game, but possibly not incredibly well. I've played at lower FPS - it's playable, but you may have frame rates in the single digits, especially in Open World.

This forum software does potentially support that - just look at the Wargaming forums. For now, it's early Alpha, and niceties like that don't really have a lot of priority over core game mechanics. It's a great suggestion in general and one to keep in mind as the game progresses. Thanks for posting!

We had this a few patches ago. It was deemed to be TMI - too much information, and removed.

The Yacht is a redeemable ship, however, she may not come with cannon any more. Try buying a Free Cutter in any port and using that to get some gold to put 12lb carronades or 6lb cannon on your Yacht. Regarding the other issue, that's really odd. I haven't heard about that one yet. Make sure you have the latest video drivers and try again, and if you get the issue again, F11 once more. There may be some weird combination of issues on your computer.

Exactly that. It's still set up as a new person's ship (as of last patch it is no longer the new person's ship), and the "free" newbie ships always come with 4lb cannon.

Let's go back to bluster and good natured ribbing. With all of the back and forth, surely a couple of you gentlemen should be requesting satisfaction in the form of a duel from those who have wronged you and impinged so sorely upon your honor?

Well, you won't have much of a choice in combat if that other player sees you first, but for now, if there isn't a name and a rank, it's AI (e.g. you'll click and enemy and it says "United States - Lynx", that's AI. If it says "United States Midshipman Bob sailing Lynx" - I think it says Sailing, but look for the rank and name), it's a player. Meanwhile, you can attack anything you see that is not British, or Neutral. If it is British and has red text saying "Carrying Contraband", you're also ok to attack it. No, the map is static, just like it was in old times. You need to use dead reckoning and your skills to navigate. No speed ups for Pre-Battle, it is what it is. In your Yacht, approach a trader cutter so that you're upwind of him - cutters run upwind. Trader Brigs you'd approach from downwind - brigs run downwind. Load chain shot before the battle starts - check the guide in the Guides forum on attacking traders - they're a little difficult.
