I honestly really like it, but I can see the potential for griefing to be astronomical. It also seems absurdly complex and more importantly need MORE PLAYERs to run. Any thought to merging the servers to give this a proper test bed? @admin I like the idea of having regions that are unconquerable and provide X nation with almost all the resources necessary other than luxury items. Wood types, mods etc. And then Clans battle it out for various ports or regions regardless of nation.

AUSEZ stopped showing up when the port battles stopped being empty and you eventually left because KoC slowed your clan down to a crawl outside great corn. Its not like AUSEZ doesn't have the same track record of swapping nations and not showing up back on PVP1. I give you guys 2 weeks before the French run you off again. Well I guess you won that title. Not only did AUSEZ not show up to contested fights you left the nation. It was necessary I suppose, we had to weed out he useless clans in the nation. For a clan that advertised "war is our business model" in its recruitment pitches, you sure didn't do a lot of it. how long until KoC drives you out of french waters and you break the Dane agreement with the Brits to get some easy kills?

VCO will begin it's resupply efforts through the lend lease program to help out the beleaguered fighters around la torture combating the backstabbing Pirates and Danes. Give em hell boys. You made fasti change nations once already, see if you can do it again.

For reference here is a screenshot of the encounter at Savannah where a BLACK clan member tags in the pirate alt in question. It is worth noting that the player Koiz in the battle that streamed the encounter did go pirate with his entire clan the very next day. It was almost like he was bragging...... This is however, water under the bridge....so I'm not sure what the point of this thread is. and the same player sailing in consort with the BLACK clan members after the battle

Looks like the BLACK clan alt information campaign out in full force today in brit nation chat. Clearly they have the best interest of the server in mind :-)

I have submitted evidence that you were trying to impersonate both myself and Duncan as an alt character in an attempt to spew more drama into a server full of it. Call it foolish, a joke or malicious.....it shouldn't be done. This technically could classify as griefing and I'll leave it at that. If it turns out you aren't Duncan and it appears that is the case, I've already reached out to him via PM to make amends. This sort of drama is the reason why people quit this game. I don't appreciate being portrayed as a backdoor manipulator through alts or anything of the sort. I'm sure Duncan should feel the same.

Impersonating other players is ok? I was also accused of being Slim in that thread. If this is indeed Duncan, than he was using Slim to impersonate myself and suggest that I am posting on 2 separate characters. If isn't Duncan than Slim was impersonating myself and Duncan on the forums, potentially trying to get Duncan in trouble, and is even perhaps a greater crime. Whomever is on Slim should have his forum privs revoked for good. This type of behavior does not belong in this game.

Player @Duncan McFail and @Slim Jimmerson just posted on this thread. They appear to be the same person. Slim Attempts to post in the thread suggesting that he is in fact myself. I posted the thread he is linking. He then later accuses that character of also being me. When actually he is accusing himself. Later on he cocks up and posts the same thing twice on both accounts. And then admits it in global. This person impersonates me to incite further tension between the pirates and the brits. Fights with this own clan. Incites tension between the US and the Brits. I feel like some rules were broken somewhere down the line here. This type of manipulation does not belong in Naval Action and is ruining the game. This type of player is exactly what Naval Action does not need and should be removed. What say you @Ink and @admin. Care to make a real stand in the fight against alts ruining your game?

ACTUALLY the way you guys took Savannah was not exactly wholesome, feel free to have another gander at this post. Ink did confirm later in global chat that the alt was indeed a pirate alt. I wonder how many US players quitting BLACK clan is responsible for? Has to be a couple dozen at least. How many Brits when you took Savanna la Mar? But you're the good guys right? One clan is literally ruining the server right now. Alts in PBs, tagging alts to get into PBs, Outlaw battles, MULTIPLE alts in nation chat constantly talking smack and sewing derision, alts manipulating all the resources for various mods.....I didn't think it was possible, but I guess PVP2 is and will always be damaged goods because of how 1 clan operates. BTW Slim is not me. Stop being paranoid. If you keep an eye on global chat the guy is in there all the time.

PVP is already broken with the 15knt Bellona bullshit, so it's not like this will break it any further. Worst thing that could of happened to this game was putting in the speed cap and making cannons absurdly expensive.

PaP and Les Cayes were flipped at Aussie times because we were not fighting just 1 nation, but 2 when trying to grind those up. Your ever so convenient deal with the pirates prevented us from doing that during primetime. The gulf is a vital area for our traders to ferry down live oak, we'd prefer to not have the french up there attacking more noobs in our backyard without agreements. We have a long way to move oak and if even part of the way can be done by solo players rather than having to convoy up it is just that much easier. Again, it's inviting foxes into the hen house. You want a staging point and some of our territory, well it's going to cost you. Either win it by force or give up something so we're willing to accept. You want a piece of our territory so you can attack other nations and OUR nation at the same time and you offer nothing in return. Why would we do that? The only real threat we see is from King of Crowns and his merry band of seal clubbers and the clubber-in-chief will never move on to more difficult targets (aka BLACK clan). Why would we give him a base to operate out of without something in return. Negotiating 101. Prove you/your nation is actually willing to go fight the pirates and not sink British noobs and maybe we can talk. Or just keep grinding up hostility in Santa Fe and losing ships. It's easy to talk tough when your nation has deals with it's 2 neighbors right next door and another deal with the biggest threat on the server.

I've proposed a couple of solutions to your problem of being in the black hole in the bottom right to @Teutonic, who comes back saying "PURGE will not agree". Aka your clan. Remember the reason you are down there is because you didn't defend PaP or Les Cayes. Even a temporary cessation of hostilities seems to be unreasonable to you guys, so I guess I'm sorry. If you want a jumping off point you either have to earn it from us in battle or agree to our terms. Seems reasonable to me. We're not going to willingly give you our territory so you can keep on hitting our shipping and noobs. Neither are the pirates. You do realize how diplomacy works right? @Teutonic asked me the other day if we'd willing give you guys Santa Marta. I asked if you guys would be willing to stop attacking our shipping down there until new territories could be won for you. The answer was No, PURGE won't agree to it. Why in god's name would we willing give you territory of our own so you can keep attacking our players. The ball is in your court. Keep it in your pants for a week and maybe your situation could be resolved. or Don't and keep making those long sails. Either is fine by me.

Well right now we've been busy showing up at port battles the french keep flipping on us even though they don't have the numbers to fill them. Not exactly ideal, but we're getting good line practice in those empty battles. We're also busy sinking Frenchies (aka your clan) who for some reason really want to level up the Santa Fe region even though they have no hope of taking it. TLDR the brits are busy every night out of the week fighting french in our waters who like to kick dead horses instead of moving on to more lively targets like the pirates. I mean who doesn't like to club seals when the other option shoots back right?

I see you're still not bitter......... Anyway I'm fine with early port battles. If we can't make it, we can't make it. The world goes on living. The pirates personally came to me asking why we weren't showing up at some of the fights (because "all they want is fights") and I told them they were setting them too late. Brits are a multi timezone nation and we can only really fight when there is overlap. The pirates then proceeded to set the very next port battle at....1am. So either they need to call a spade a spade and just say they are going after empty ports OR start setting fights a little earlier for us or the weekends. Actually the pirates are the ZERG nation now to be honest. They have the largest group of consistently active RVR players, especially now after the US and Brit exoduses. And While I appreciate you being a loyal follower of my movings and dealings, you should at least get the facts straight. We didn't go to the brits because they were the largest or the "zerg" nation. We went there because we had our PVP1 buds here mostly and we wanted to link up with them. The wheels were in motion before we lost a couple battles in the US. We actually tried to get everyone to go Spanish and make it great again, but we got loyal brits who HAVE to wear the jack and didn't want to switch. But keep beating that drum that my guys just wanted to join the zerg nation, we're now probably the most active and numerous clan that shows up to PBs. Anyway keep your bitter feelings and salt about EU on the EU server (between 17:00 - 22:00) We've moved on. You don't matter anymore. I suggest you do the same.

I saw the swedes complaining here on the forums because people were grinding hostility outside of the 5 hour window, but yet the battle falls within the window. So really what they want is a 3 hour port battle window. At that point they should just go play another game.
