  1. I've made attempts to contact the US in the past about various things like trying to take back Savannah and was met with stupidity and ignorance by the leadership. They lost the port, there's no reason to contact them about what we choose to do with it. Cayo bisc is a long way away from your safe zone and your home consists what what you're able to defend....which isn't much. I suggest letting cayo bisc stay neutral or we'll just go higher up the coast and leave it open for other folks to park as well. Fight us here or in your backyard. Your choice.
  2. is there a set location for where these will take place that we decide beforehand or up to the 2 teams? I assume you'd want the judge in something like a tlynx or whatever.
  3. PVP is going to be there whether the US wants it or not. The east coast / north of cuba area has the highest concentration of players in the game. They have a very large safe area with all their needs, including live/white oak up north they can do their fleeting in. This is the hotspot on the server, might as well make the best of it. Hence trying to let other nations join in the action as well. To keep the server healthy we need less folks sitting in their safe zones and out cruising around. I think everyone can agree on that. I'm not getting upset. We can just retake cayo bisc at will if we have to, but I'd prefer to see this little experiment last longer than 24hours. Dave the Spanish came to me last weekend asking about it and he thinks it will benefit the server. I agree. There are still 50 more useless grey little dots on the map to cap for our bot fighter experts to take care of, maybe lets not be so hasty with this one.
  4. You are aware that Biscanyo went neutral at the downtime right? I decided to let it go around this time yesterday afternoon after talking to Dave, check the time stamps above to verify. If ARMED indeed planned to grind it up for a PB, the timing is very curious. ARMED has a number of other pirate ports to choose from. @Sir Texas Sir can confirm that we told him last night that we were dropping the port before any hostility was generated. If you guys were flipping it around the downtime, that would be considered an off hours attack would it not? I thought we were trying to avoid those. My gesture is to help create content on this server without sailing a couple of hours to find it. I'm not trying to play god and if you think I am, you simply do not grasp my intentions. ARMED, US, Spain and the Prussians can all use Biscanyo (currently) to TP in and out of. You don't have to sail past pirate ports, neither does anyone else. Hence why I turned it to neutral. If ARMED takes the port, it promotes more PVP for you. Leaving it neutral will in theory generate more for everyone else. The port was won in a full 25 v 25 contest and dropped in good faith to benefit the server. If the US or ARMED decides to indeed take the port while it's neutral we'll simply just take it back when it's convenient for us, consider the experiment failed and then remove access to nearby ports for good measure. I leave it in your hands now.
  5. This isn't really an answer. This post has been on the forums for a week, you knew what I had intended and it was going to be released at downtime this morning. My attempt was to encourage the smaller and newer nations to park ships in the area and create some sort of PVP hot spot so folks didn't have to sail 2 hours to get to it. If this flips, you're going to lose it during our prime time and shame on the clan that does. It was dropped in good faith for the betterment of the server.
  6. Yeah. I figured ARMED would be all about creating a little PVP hub. What gives @Atreides? Doe another red dot make a difference?
  7. The night king commeth
  8. MY MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. And ARMED immediately runs up Cayo Bisc. You guys astonish me.
  10. not enough people to generate content. Cmon man, you're smarter than this.
  11. Your hashtag is far too long to trend. I wasn't given a choice on where to play if I wanted to do RVR despite being a member of the EU server for over a year.
  12. Nah, I just dislike guys who pledged to go to global....like yourself....and then didn't. Not only did you not go, you saddled up with the very same guys that made your old clan leaders Jags & Surathani quit. Very unfortunate and much shame. Call me all the names you want, but I'm no traitor. Best of luck over there Mikocen, you were a good dude until you let the Swedes change you. See ya soon!
  13. You mean kinda like how at the start of the patch the Danes and Swedes had a little "non-aggression" treaty going on and then bullied the rest of the server until they realized they had to fight? The irony in your statement just cracks me up. Frankly, the majority of the Western Alliance doesn't play anymore or has filtered into various other nations on the EU server. 7up as you know is in Sweden, Some are pirates, most of ZERG quit and the rest are over in GB on EU and most of the Aussies are here. The only remnants of the Western Alliance group on Global left is my group of guys in VCO and Hardy's group in GA on the Brits and wherever Hardy and his lot go, we'll go the opposite to sink em. You and I might even end up as best buds! I don't think you guys realize how big of a deal the Great Wipe patch and split was to the Western Alliance guys. Most of the "command" group simply stopped playing.
  14. Merge is coming amigo. Get ready!
  15. Letting Biscanyo go so the other nations can start building outposts and PVP it up. It doesn't provide much in the way of money as a trading hub. Good luck. lets hope the US and GB let it stay neutral so we don't have to take it back from them.
  16. They used to not operate as such, I could log on PVP 2 and my XP would be the same prior to the great wipe. There's ways around it, whether it be reedemables or whatever. It doesn't make sense financially to run all 3 servers while the game is in alpha/beta, something will change.
  17. While I personally would like no restrictions, I'm willing to accept a merge with some sort of timer restrictions. I get that people don't want to lose ports while they're not on and we don't have the population to support a fully unrestricted server. The point is, a merge is favorable.
  18. the current poll is 2:1 in favor of a merge, on the forums anyway. People will return. Is it a cure all for everything that ails Naval Action? No. It's just the first step.
  19. Because that population of 500 has proven to slowly trickle away and eventually even out to around 300/350 and continue to lose steam....as we saw with the end of the patch before the great wipe and just recently before the "clan" patch ( I don't remember the numbers). 500 is not a sustainable number for long, as history has dictated. There is also another player base to think of, one that's consistently been getting the shaft from the devs even though they purchased the bulk of the copies. Saying that just because one base is happy the other should suffer is selfish and small minded. That short term thinking is exactly why the game is in it's current state of development. Luckily the most recent couple of patches seemed to have more big picture thought behind them and I for one see some light at the end of the tunnel. A merge will happen at some point. It doesn't make sense from a financial standpoint to run and maintain 3 low pop servers. It also makes more sense that a game in testing has adequate numbers to you know... test. People need to realize this isn't the final form of Naval Action. Ports, timers, flips....don't matter. All will be reset as it's been in the past.
  20. Timers didn't work because of the abuse of the flag system. That system doesn't exist anymore and the timers we do have, work on EU. No reason that can't be expanded to port owner set or even something as crazy as time zone region restricting. US players attack US players, EU players attack other EU players.....mixed clans have the most fun....everyone has a little overlap for good pvp and then on the weekends we can all get together for some serious block parties with beer and hotdogs. Sounds ok to me.
  21. Our fleets were mixed during the daytime. I myself was in most of the battles trying to board rediii.
  22. There is no limit on PBs over on Global other than server downtime. Luckily the majority of the Western Alliance fleets were mixed. Is there even 1 major Western clan around that was a big factor in the Alliance anymore? I don't think so. Most of ZERG quit and you absorbed the leftovers of 7up.
  23. I think the real issue here is you're scared of competition. You haven't been properly challenged since you guys broke apart the Western Alliance. Go figure... We're needed on the EU server to bring balance to the force.
  24. The problem is that this particular player base of the game has in a sense....gotten everything they've wanted by the Dev community. They threaten quitting, boycotting....everything possible to ruin the experience of the game for everyone else....and they get their way. To make the game healthier, this needs to stop. We're being held hostage by children with outrageous demands. The devs constantly have to fix and tweak the game to deal with these bad hombres and thus progress is slow. Put everyone on one server until launch and say go have fun while we build/finish the game. Once it launches we can split up by region.
