    Of course - I'm not Lord Vicious I wanted to go for a crack at Hardy, but neither of us made it. I was too busy losing a Buc up at Sombrero Island. We had several guys in there that typically don't get to go into PBs and I hear it was good fun.

    We had an arranged fight with the Brits at Misterio this evening. VCO came out in force and spanked them. Skmarsh commanding.

    Russia popped on there for a week or 2. it's not easy to stay on there unless you have all the double/triple mark ports or spend millions a day in port upkeep.

    No showing port battles is a valid strat. Divide and conquer after all. The cost of holding carta is that we will always show up to defend it. The swedes never really felt that pain because no one else had the balls to attack it. I would however suggest that the cooldown on unsuccessful attacks be longer than 24hours. 48-72 hours feels more appropriate.

    Actually we had 12. 2 of which EU based players (Skmarsh and Tiargo) that stayed up late to fill the BR. Our numbers are inconsistent and a lot of players also play during the day and don't really feel like grinding ports at night or defending them. He's a screenshot of what we took into Guayama. Not quite 16.... #FakeNews

    I actually had a nice chat with a VOLVO guy afterwards who said that WO and Sweden were friends and that Sveno trusts them AND that he was in contact with KoC during the Guayama screening. It gave me a little chuckle. Someone is telling a little lie or doesn't know all the facts

    You tell me. Not sure what your stake is in all this other than your opinions seem to change as frequently as the wind. Or whatever your new masters opinion is at the time I suppose. Sweden hates screening and complains when we screen them out. Then asks for help from 3 nations to screen us out. Or attempt to. I’m cool either way with a good fight. Anyway this back and forth is tedious. Good fights yesterday and hopefully if I can shirk my coaching duties this afternoon I’ll get another couple later on today.

    Ah yes your snowstorm incident. That wasn’t against GB though if I recall. We’re happy with our buds in Spain. We don’t need a huge coalition to fight Sweden.

    I don’t remember Spain coming to screen for us against GB. Could be wrong. I do remember the French helping you guys in the gulf. And let’s be honest the 4 fights out of 20 your nation showed up for screening wasn’t needed. Including your George Town loss.

    Babay and his crew chose to grind up Navasse. We were asked to assist and we did. No PB, but we appreciate the pvp marks anyway. We fought you guys at Hat Island with a good fleet and won easily. There were a lot of salty French that evening and lots of players unwilling to GG afterwards including Kingy and I want to say you as well, though I could be mistaken. I take little enjoyment from beating WO in PBs, I find your master to be enough of a vile guy i dislike even playing in the same battle as the bigot. We’ve found that denying him content is the best method for everyone. If you were bored last night you should of attacked the 4 or 5 Dutch that showed up to help you. I haven’t done a head count lately but I think the daytime VCO players outnumber the evening ones. We’re very much a daytime clan now and our numbers reflect that in the Russian PBs. Our timers reflect the overlap with a late EU time that we theoretically can fill. I told the same to Rab weeks ago. I think you’ve attacked 3 VCO ports. One was a now show, 2 were defended fully. If you want us or anyone to attack you guys, change your timers. Ive also been apart of the Russian fleet now for a few months before the wipe. I’m not sure I’d consider myself a big player, but I’ve been there for most of our nations succcess. While you guys are sailing around doing your empty pbs and 3 to 1 or 5 to 1 odds ganks around the map I’m doing real battles during the daytime against really difficult opponents.

    He’s not big league enough for those fights. Ganking with 3 to 1 odds is more his style. Those are “good fights”. I still crack up about his screen shot after 1v1’n hachi. No GG no GF. Just excuses for why he lost (op mod books I guess) and that next time he would just gank hachi instead of a fair 1v1 Kingy is garbage

    #altfarmers You guys already got spanked twice in the past week or so, no need to make it a third time. We were there to take a port not fight French. If you want a fight, go attack a port or change your timers so people will attack yours. Once your done flipping ports for the Swedes that is. Are they giving you marks? I’m too busy being in real battles during the evenings to waste time with your gank fleets. Win or lose, the Swedes we fight during the day are 10x more challenging than your crew of farmers and when they do lose they aren’t afraid to GG like you were after getting beat at Hat Island and outside Navasse. You deserve your lack of content

    The beauty of the sandbox is everyone can show up with a shovel and have some fun. Cartagena will most likely involve 5+ nations tomorrow and most of them will be against Russia. It sucks, but it is what it is. Everyone is entitled to get their own slice of the pie and the more people involved in port battles is more people having fun overall, which this game desperately needs. If you want a PB simulator go play legends. PS - if you want Russian help down in the bottom corner of the map...help tomorrow at Carta will not go unnoticed. Just saying.... Come get some.

    Last time the game was as exciting as it was now we had the Western Alliance vs Eastern Alliance. A lot of the old Western Alliance players came back as a result of the merge, right around xmas. We bring the excitement :-)

    sell paints? Sell pvp marks? Same as you do now. The game is full of carebears that don't pvp and they want their ships to look pretty. Back before the wipe I made a killing selling paints and notes from the chests.

    Aren’t you the guy who’s quit a few times on the forums because certain changes or lack of them? Wind changes and new profiles are fun, but not enough to keep fans in the seats forever. The game needs more diverse content, BR balances and a wide assortment of things that really should happen before we need more wind adjustments. You don’t pick out the color of the carpet before the house is built right? it feels like we’re on this merry go round just going in circles over and over. New crafting changes, RVR changes, server splits and merges... but the game never fundamentally changes and it still has the same flaws. The same 200 people come back every patch, stay for a while and then dip out when the changes get old.

    This would be a terrible idea. But if you had to do it, make it a shallow port so EVERY nation has a shot at taking it. There will be PBs there every 2 days.

    How about bringing back regional bonuses again? Strong hull regions / pirate refit etc. I'd prefer the region matter and not the item it produces that you can just obtain with alts.
