  1. We did send ships away from Navasse. Oh boy... we had to sail together or else
  2. Move to the border with enemy nation. That's how we did it.
  3. Like: New ROE at all levels, from lone raider up to squadron action. The two circles are pure gold. The tag area reflects very well the engagement distance. The second circle the battle area. Top work. The tactical layer prior to attack just got real and assessment of everything in OW is essential now. As it should be. As with the ROE, the alliances system and the pirates on the sidelines without being drawn into a national battle. While this can be changed in the future ( by letters of mart and letters of marquee ) the system as it is now works good. Trader playstyle just became a reality as much as the sea rover pyrate was already a reality. Both are at the same level of chalenge at the moment and each with its own "hard work" and considerations before putting to sea. Planning is essential. ( obviously there's tweaking to be done ) Trading as a playstyle is finally available and essential to any nation. So Crafters, Fighters and Traders are now ALL absolutely crucial for a well oiled nation. The coastlines. Was very happy sailing about Georgia and South Carolina and very pleased with the changes. The forts. They add a sense of "realism". Î can only guess how great some of the well known ports, like Cartagena, Habana and Charleston will look with manual placed fortresses to emulate the real counterparts. Plus they add a lot to battles. The Map. The transition to Regions is one of the things I really enjoy in the new system. It provides a sense of progressions and eliminates the senseless port hops. It reflects areas of control. On pair, the map reset. Thank you. _____ Have yet to test a ton other things. Had a go at combat and the overkill of ball was noticeable. Have yet to properly have a go at longs, mediums and carronades. _____ Dislike: Not so many things but one really got me anxious - The hostility lists UI is somewhat confusing.
  4. Many many many thanks for your work team.
  5. I think the reset might take care of the issue and give the opportunity for the clans to be created again. Transfer of ownership though is a good suggestion.
  6. ??? NA is a game where all ideas are read and good ones are tried into testing... wtf...
  7. How so ? There like 1 to 2 days for hostility score ( in plenty of ways ! ! ), then 2 days more in advance to plan for PB or intercept the fleet before it arrives...
  8. An entire different level... wow http://www.contemporarysculptor.com/victory-model.htm
  9. Production processes become standardized towards the end of the period covered by NA. Given we use 1 model I guess this is the one we have...somehow. Off Topic * imagine ingame vertical aiming simulating that...
  10. So many different casts - always dependent on which caster on which port - that the muzzle is hardly an issue during these 150 years. For example http://silverhawkauthor.com/artillery-preserved-in-portugal_403.html
  11. My interpretation is: - Two offensive PBs per nation. Meaning that a nation that is at war with two nations can effectively play 6 PBs

  12. Interesting enough, during the survey didn't fill in any of the games names requested ( as a proof of marketing concept), but on the Recommendations of games by my gamer profile, and pushing the bar towards Popular toBalanced to Niche, Naval Action is the primary recommendation for my profile on the Niche list.
  13. Get into the thick of it. Stick with a team mate, work as a double team. When "loss" is on the line one has to adapt fast. Easy to learn, hard to master. BUT... given that tournament is over the idea of using those instanced 3+1v3+1 for training could be viable ?
  14. ... wish I knew what I was getting into when they gave me the papers to sign ... ( jk. good spirit, no prepotency, always looking for a challenge, solid solid bunch, getting back on my "national" knees with their good help )
  15. Good ideas are timeless and never lost

  16. Did so many Bartle's ( all honesty never rigged ) that is usually very similar patterns. I find this one quite interesting regarding the underlying marketing objectives. Gaming Style for Hethwill: Action-Oriented, Proficient, Relaxed, Gregarious, Deeply Immersed, and Expressive Full - https://goo.gl/6zXqhQ
  17. Awesome ! Many thanks. Didn't know about this
  18. Yes. Chance encounters seem like a good thing to have.
  19. Their BR won't count for the tag. They will be present. NPC fleets numbers will be reduced IIRC and their spawning more in line with national waters IIRC.
