Fuzzyhead12 Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 well trolls were alredy alive in hte 17th hundrets, so they also called their ships really wired, Like the french boardingvessel -Sandwich was taken as prize after engageing the USS Constitution find me some really bad names!
Mirones Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 HMS Rainbow all carronades captured a french frigate by shooting with his 32lb carro front chasers at her. the french Captain inspected the cannon ball that hit his ship and came to the conclusion that she must be an Ship of the Line in disguise. Captain of Said ship was Henry Trollope (Troll-op, spelling) he later was comanding the Glatton 32lb+68lb carro and chased an french fleet of 8 ships into port with topmasts missing.
