Remo Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 (edited) Everyone knows what SweetFX is but some may not know what GEMFX is. Link to GEMFX: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?672483-A-R2-TW-GEMFX-Version-1-0-9 Initially designed for Total War: Rome 2, it works with practically any other game. It has a built in config tool and can also import SweetFX settings or you can just edit your own in the config tool. It's basically just a better version of SweetFX tbh. Just want to know if this is fine to use, no risk of banning? Edited February 6, 2016 by Remo
Arvenski Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 (edited) I don't see why you'd get banned for using it, if it only edits visual effects. Edited February 6, 2016 by Arvenski
mirror452 Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Can it remove fog in the Open World or smoke in battles?
Remo Posted February 6, 2016 Author Posted February 6, 2016 Can it remove fog in the Open World or smoke in battles? No it doesn't remove in-game effects.
mirror452 Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 No it doesn't remove in-game effects. Then I see no reason why it should be banned... However devs might see that differently, no idea.
Ned Loe Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 I tried installing it, but it did not work for me. Can someone provide a small guide on how to get it in NA plz.
Ink Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 There is a recommendation by the dev team to not use it since there are might be issues with Steam. If you decide to use it - do it on your own risk
