V frequent "Not Responding" flickers

Afternoon all,

 

A few updates ago, I started experiencing problems with Naval Action. In all sections of the game (port, OW & battle), the game is flickering to "Not Responding" for a few hundred milliseconds every few seconds. I also have a persistent Windows cursor and clicking only registers in the game every 50% of clicks, as though another program running takes focus off NA and then returns it.

 

This occurs only with Naval Action, not with any other games, Steam or non-Steam. I have run full virus and malware scans and uninstalled and reinstalled the game, but none of these have solved the issue. It does make the game unplayable as clicks away and returning keep crashing the game and have so far caused me to lose a Niagara durability and all its hold contents!

 

Anyone have any thoughts?

Could you please send the crash report? It is the third option in Steam Launcher, then provide either the number (just ctrl+v from clipboard) or tell you character name.

Crash report and bug report have been filed via the game, Charname is Phoenixegmh, I didn't make a note of the report number, I'm afraid!
