They Call Me Mr. Tibbs Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Hi there, I've been playing the game for about a week, but I love it so much that I've put in over 114 hours during that time. However, I run a dual monitor set up. During battles I often find that the cursor has gone off my main screen and onto my secondary screen, however I often miss that and attempt to fire a volley only to find the game close as it minimizes behind a new application and when I tab back in I've already lost my chance to fire. Now I'm not sure if there's a solution that I can implement myself, or if this is something that should be brought to the attention of the developers. 1
Aussie Pastor Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Well, first up: what is so important to Alt Tab when in battle? I also find it annoying when you alt tab and then you try to select you event, port etc, for the game minimises, but CTRL while the cursor is back on the game screen is the quick SOP that I use.
They Call Me Mr. Tibbs Posted February 4, 2016 Author Posted February 4, 2016 Sorry I'm not sure if I was clear, the issue is caused by my cursor leaving the monitor while moving the camera and then clicking outside the application when attempting to fire thus closing the game application. This causes major issues when fighting small or long range targets which require precise timing to hit. 1
Ink Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 It is a known issue, some people have problems with mouse on 2-3 monitors and devs will be solving them in the future since there are more important issues to be resolved first 1
diomedesbc Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 I see I'm not the only one having this problem. If I click off the main screen on my secondary monitor to look up something on navalactioncraft or something it minimizes the game on the main monitor. Oh well,
Emmer Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Same here, very irritating thing... fullscreen is just not fullscreen it seems.
Cmdr Thrudd Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 I've started getting this issue since the latest patch, never had it before. I run a 3 screen setup, haven't changed anything on my system from before but now the mouse isn't 'trapped' to the window as a result combat is really frustrating. I usually run the game windowed so tried it out in full screen to see if it would help but sadly it didnt.
