Extra controls for units

I am an avid player of the total war series and I have noticed something lacking from this game.

 

In Total War as well as unit rotation and move forward, you could also click a button which would allow the unit to advance a short distance forward.

 

This control would be nice as the mouse click drag is more suitable for long movements and because of LoS ect. it would be nice to be able to move a unit just a tiny bit forward to be in front of a building rather than beind it.

 

here is a picture of NTW which explains my point. In the little command thingy at the bottom of the screen, directly in the middle there is a  move forward arrow. I think this tool would be really useful in Ultimate General.
