Clan/Nation PvP tournaments

Some different PvP tournament events have some rare blueprints/gold/ships whatever as prizes.

 

Extra points if you can get a Clan VS Clan lobby in the mission screen with a resetting ranked ELO style system and leaderboard with monthly prizes for the top scoring clans

Port Battle is fun but messy and running, small ship screens and towers and lots of other factors add gameplay depth for the OW but it would be nice to have  a straight fight also.

 

It would also encourage pushing the combat to extremes and help test ship balance and abusable tactics.

Well, This is an open world game, since the clans clash with eachother in open world, and this is not a lobby/acrade based game, Idon't see the need for it.

This sounds a lot like e-sports, which tends to make games very unfun. I dont really see it having a place in this kinda game since the goal is more gain territory based than who has the best KDR.
