Deleted Character

Recently changed from Pirates to British to support a friend and was half way through plunderer rank when I deleted my character. I see that the patch this week will allow for this to happen freely. I was wondering if I could get my exp back. That would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Unfortunately, there is currently no mechanism to undelete a character once it's been deleted.  Code changes will need to take place to allow this to happen, and since that code doesn't exist yet, data is not saved in a delete.

Can I petition his royal majesty to promote me to my former rank due to my superior command and sailing abilities? If not I shall continue proving myself while drowning myself in drink and sobbing myself to sleep in my cabin.
