gekkoguy82 Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 I've got kind of a peculiar problem. I've installed Ultimate General on both my laptop and my desktop through Steam. It runs perfectly on my desktop, aside from random 3-4 second freezes every now and again. Wonderful game. Anyway, on my laptop, whenever I click "play" in Steam.....nothing happens. However, if my desktop is running, I can choose the "stream" option instead of play (on my laptop), and the game boots up perfectly. What gives? What's allowing me to stream it from my desktop to my laptop, but won't let me run it right from my laptop? My apologies if I haven't explained this very well, I realize this might sound sort of confusing....Thanks in advance for any advice that can be provided!
Tomnj Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 Same issue on my laptop. It's a new laptop and meets all the specs but will crash after selecting an option on the menu page on this game.

(your instalation drive) C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Ultimate General Gettysburg_data grab the output_log.txt.

Husserl Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 We did several adjustments hoping to solve the problem with the last patch but it seems there are still some pending issues on this. So it remains on the top of the bug list for the next patch or hotfix.
