Battle Chat Switch

New to the game and maybe on the to-do list already but ...

 

Can the chat in the battle instance be on when you spawn in and be toggled on/off by a hotkey. I feel like I may have missed some chat as a newie and when playing ungrouped others may be unaware that the ctrl button is the key to toggle the cursor to toggle the chat bar.

 

I only have http://forum.game-labs.net/index.php?/topic/1964-keyboard-shortcuts-list/as a keyboard guide so perhaps I am missing some other hotkeys/shortcuts anyway.
