Headstart ship issue

Let me start off by saying that I'm a dirty great noob and I expect no help, buuuut....

 

I made my profile earlier this week, and logged into see that I got the bonus ships. Cool. Played for a bit, decided I wanted to start over, deleted my profile, made a new one, ships are gone. I screwed up. I assumed that they'd be linked to my Steam profile, just like the Yacht.

 

Since it was a total noob error and there was no clear indication that I'd lose the bonus ships for good, is there any chance of getting them back? Pretty please?

Two questions:

 

1.  Just to make sure, you did not, at any time, redeem any of the ships?

2.  When you deleted your account and recreated it, are you playing on the same server you were playing on the last time you saw redeemables?

Same server, redeemed ships. I guess I'm kinda screwed, right? I had no idea what they were for at the time. I didn't know they were bonuses. I've been ill since the start of the year so I have approximately 1 functioning brain cell at the moment

Yes, unfortunately it's one redeem per account, so they were lost on that server when you deleted your character.  Very sorry!
