Pirate port questions

Do pirate ports have the same defense( towers) as national ports?

Also if the do, should they? I doubt at least from any realism standpoint they did given cost, resources, and skill required to build such fortifications.

Think you got your flags mixed up, the United States does not use a flag with any part of a skeleton on it.

Sad but true sir. Pirates are just another faction. Most certainly not true "pirates" of old.

Devs have screwed up the pirate implementaion. In their current form they should just remove them.
